Feedback on Recent Store Visit - Improvement OpportunitiesI visited your store with my mom on 11/16/23 at approximately 8:20 pm to purchase a new battery for my car. Unfortunately, I felt compelled to share my experience due to the lack of customer service we encountered during our visit.Upon entering the store, there was no immediate assistance available, and when we proceeded to the "Battery Zone," the individual at the desk seemed preoccupied and did not acknowledge us. After my mom sought assistance, we were surprised by the response, "I'm busy in the middle of something," leaving us feeling unattended.Despite the employee's apparent workload, we communicated our need for assistance with al battery. However, the response we received was less than satisfactory, with the employee expressing reluctance to interrupt their task of counting money. When I inquired if there was another staff member available, I was informed that someone else was in the back or the bathroom.As the employee reluctantly assisted us, another staff member emerged from the back, engrossed in their phone and not acknowledging or offering help to their colleague who appeared stressed and overwhelmed.Throughout the interaction, the assistance provided was delivered with an apparent lack of enthusiasm, culminating in a rushed inquiry about which battery I wanted. While I did make a purchase, I left the store feeling bewildered by the overall experience.Having worked in customer service for over five years, I can empathize with the challenges of being understaffed and the pressures associated with closing procedures. However, the failure to acknowledge a customer seeking assistance was surprising. I cannot say I'd come back to this store especially with the array of other local options available.I hope this feedback prompts a review of customer service practices and provides an opportunity for additional training to enhance the overall customer experience.

They might not have the best code reader to find out if it's ready for a smog test (emission ready kept failing) but hey its free to get your car scanned for codings, but the codes and everything else worked fine and got it all fixed thanks to there staff.. Just passed my smog test - with emission ready saying no.. special thanks to Daisy she needs a raise, make sure to ask for her for help

I have been shopping here for 10 years. They have what I need for the most part, but there are times when myself and other customers are standing in line and there is nobody in the front. The young ladies in the front are very helpful.Today I went to drop off old transmission fluidand diesel fuel with water in it from my fuel water separator. Not once but twice two separate employees ran out and approached my vehicle as I was trying to leave. First to say he can t take the transmission fluid because it looked milky to him. When I asked what he meant he just kept saying he can t take it. He was pretty insistent and rude about it and couldn t explain why they wouldn t take it even though they have done this multiple times in the past. I took the containers put back in my truck and started to leave again when a second employee runs out. He at least told me they don t take diesel fuel which I can understand but I asked again about the transmission fluid explaining I have done this several times in The past. He proceeds to tell me he has worked there for 8 years (NEVER seen this employee before) so he knows they can t. When I again asked why (thinking maybe policy changed something) he responded with he thinks it could be contaminated. Really? Based on what? In the end he did take the transmission fluid but only after he and the other employee made scenes in the parking lot looking like a bunch of idiots. Total power trip with no reason behind it.

I would not recommend anyone goi g here. My husband bought an alternator for my Honda Monday October 9. He returned it Tuesday the 10th since it was not the problem. He forgot to get a return receipt and now Stan is telling him he doesn t know how to go back and print one. We have been trying every day to get our refund. Left messages with John the district manager and will be going in to talk to gabby today. We just want our $238 refunded. Check the cameras and check your stock and you will see it was returned.

I have a horrible experience with Stan or Dan he s not helpful at all. I spend almost $400 dollars on AutoZone and all I got is he says he says he s not touching my car and won t help. All I need was to open the oil cap because it s hard to open so I can put the additives in the engine. And the guy customer heard me and was able to open the engine cap.

I bought 3 windshield wiper blades for my van in November, 2 fit and 1 didn't. Tried to return blade that didn't fit even though their employee looked it up, went to the shelf and handed it to me. Tried to return it but didn't have receipt. I asked if the could look it up by my name, my phone number for their discount program, and by the card I purchased it with. All answers were no. Woman behind the counter said I would need the exact date of purchase. I went to my car, called my bank, got the date and the exact time of purchase, gave it to her and she said she couldn't find it in her system. No return possible. I was furious! Don't they recognize their own products and with the information I provided, WHAT WAS THE ISSUE???!!! I won't be back soon.

I will never come back to this location, their customer service sucks. I couldn't get anyone to help me, I asked one of the employees for help and he barely answered my question. I just left and went to O'Reilly's where I got plenty of help, and was happy to spend my money !!

Stopped at the store today to replace my car battery for my Explorer. Juan, the store manager had me in and out of the parking lot in 5 minutes with an installed battery. Thank you Juan and everyone at Brentwood Auto Zone for the excellent Customer Service!!!

Chris the manager at the Antioch CA location is an extremely rude person. I called to ask about parts at which sarcastically he said it s better to come in and ask questions then I can hear the aggravation in his voice when I said can I make the purchase or not . He then said if you want. Said I would get a confirmation email of purchase which I did not get so I called back and Chris then replied this is why it s better to come and make a purchase. Auto one this will be broad cast on all social media outlets I can attach this to.I am extremely upset at how I was talked to and can t wait to walk into this store and talk th Chris face to face . We ll see if his attitude is still dismissive

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. DOESN'T MATTER WHERE I GET PARTS FROM. BUT THE SERVICE DOES. I WILL NO LONGER BRING MY BUSINESS HERE. OR MAYBE THE GM THERE IS JUST AS BAD AS THEM?

Awesome, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Had an issue with a set of new headlights I purchased at this location and they replaced them for me with little effort on my part. Would recommend this AutoZone 100% for all your automotive needs.

I'm quite angered at the fact that the manager of the store who was my cashier, charged me for stuff I didn't even buy nor want. For some reason I was billed for a PCV valve I didn't even have and I was billed for fuel system cleaner he was promoting even though I said I didn't want it. I brought this to his attention and he did give me the refund but still it's the principal. The audacity one has to charge people for some extra sales to boost his year end bonus, that's not ok. I definitely won't be going back.

Ordering online is basically useless two times I've ordered they sent me the wrong product I did get my shipping back but then I've gone into several times and they're out of stock on a lot of cleaning stuff for cars and then they won't order it online and give you free shipping they don't really go out of their way to earn your business not very satisfied or very impressed with shopping there I've only tried the shop there just so I can use up a gift card that I have

Not such a friendly staff. Asked for help, three different guys helped to change battery in fob.Nice store and location, next time I'll drive 500 ft. to Napa Auto.

Definitely better than Oakley Auto zone. Ordered my parts timely. Seems to be in it more, but then again that could change this chain likes turnover and transferring good employees shop to shop.

They help you with what ever is wrong the girl even went out to my Car and put a machine on my car to see if my alternator was bad it was hot outside and she took my battery and charged I mean they were really nice there

I always get help here. Friendly staff as well, never had a problem with the parts or anything, compare to O'Reilly Auto Parts. I got a bad part there.
