Alexandra & Su took great care of me. It was my first time getting service here. They listened well, were communicative. Got me in and out in a timely manner and were in general, just delightful. The video was helpful. I highly recommend Toyota of Berkeley Service!

From the moment I arrived until my car was done, I had an enjoyable and stress free experience. Martin went above and beyond such that I look forward to when I have to return for my next service (that s certainly a first for me!). When I do return, I am confident that the inspection will be thorough and no service will be recommended that isn t necessary.

Quick and professional, but extremely expensiveBrought my truck in for my 60K, and my power steering fluid was running very low. They started at around 11AM, and at 12:30 my truck was ready. The team is communicative, but the 1.5 hours of labor was $1950!!! On top of the $900+ of parts!!!!!The service was for engine oil, tire rotation, power steering fluid, gear fluid, brake fluids, and spark plugs. Each fluid change was, to cite to the rep, couple hundred bucks. The spark plugs alone costed around ~700 after labor.The service was professional, friendly, and prompt, but I will probably find a cheaper dealer to do that in the future.

To make a long story short... I had some work done (3.5k) when I took the car home, my problem persisted. So I went back very upset. The service manager Jason listened to me and swore he would take a deep dive into what could possibly be going on. Turns out I had a blown head gasket. He explained what that does, and 3 options for going forward. He personally sourced an engine and had the master technicians do all the work. He made sure it was perfect and made me feel like I was the only customer. It's rare to be treated this well these days. All this to say, the team here at toyota of berkeley is solid. And the manager Jason does his job perfectly!

Any time I need work done on my camry that I bought new I bring it here. Advisors said its time for new brakes so we got new brakes. A month into driving it, it started squeaking. Took it back, they said they found a rock lodged In between the brake and rim. Drove another month and the squeak came back. They said they can machine down the rotor to help with that. After multiple attempts to fix it, toyota service says it's the way brake. The issue wasn't when I was braking rather when it's not braking that it's making the sound. They said they would have to charge me 375 to Inspect it.I took it to a mechanic in San Rafael that said the rotor had a hard spot and no matter how much machining down it would never go away. Got new rotors and the sound went away.Toyota is fast when it comes to taking your payment but when it comes to fixing their mistakes they will use every excuse to avoid having to fix it.

I recently purchased a brand-new Rav4 from TOYOTA of Berkeley just last week, and the entire experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I submitted my online query, they responded promptly but without any pressure. I was warmly welcomed by the Sales Director, Khanh, who generously offered me a reasonable discount. During my visit, the salesperson (whose name I regrettably forgot) took me for a test drive, expertly addressed all my inquiries, and efficiently prepared my new vehicle.Furthermore, I had the pleasure of working with the Finance Manager, Lauren Vazquez. Lauren's professionalism, patience, clear communication, extensive knowledge, and overall politeness greatly impressed me. She meticulously handled all the necessary paperwork and introduced the service packages in a well-organized manner. Lauren even graciously assisted me in adjusting my service package a few days later, which demonstrated her exceptional customer service.My experience with TOYOTA of Berkeley has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's worth noting that I also purchased my Corolla from this dealership a decade ago. With such outstanding service, I eagerly anticipate continuing to do business with them in the years to come.

Jareth greeted us warmly. Never gave us any pressure while shopping for a car. Another Toyota dealer gave us the high pressure tactic. Buy it now or there will never be another Corolla hybrid coming this year. We went back to Jareth and bought from him instead. Great buying experience. His colleague Alexis was also attentive and supportive while Jareth was busy detailing the car we bought. Berkeley Toyota has a winning sales team. They work in synergy. A+.

What set Berkeley apart from other Toyota dealers was the fact that they went out of their way to treat me as a human being, not as a mark for being a chump, when it came to bargaining. They aren't a "bait," with a low advertised price, and "switch," with required add-ons when you actually get there, such as an unwanted mandatory LoJack for $2,000. They didn't give me the lowest price. I realized that I was also buying a trusted dealership, who I know will stand behind their product, and not just a facade the will "skin the sheep," given the chance, not just shear them. The contrast between them and other dealerships is what I will always remember, as well as a car I can trust and enjoy without fear of calamity.

I was in town to visit my daughter & needed to replace the windshield wiper on my sequoia. So after I bought the replacement wipers, I was kindly helped by Martin Lee, one of the service advisor, to replace the wipers. He went above & beyond by making sure the wiper works well & even checked the washer fluid. What a great, & I meant great customer service & superb human kindness. Another great gentleman, service advisor Kent Muon also welcomed me, complementrd my car & overall made my short stop a pleasant one. Both of them really left a great lasting impression about the dealership's excellent service. God bless you all!!! Your friend from LA.

The team there is knowledgeable about Toyotas all the people who have helped me have a Toyota and they provide honest answers to my questions which is not my experience at other dealer service centers. 100% trust this team to help with my Prius and Prius Prime.

Kent took great care of me and my truck. I brought it in for an ongoing issue and they checked it out without charging me! I'm happy they had the integrity to tell me when it's better to wait and see instead of charging me for work I don't need.

It was my first visit to a dealer (Toyota s used cars) looking for a car. I asked for Bill Bling who had worked for Toyota of Berkeley all his life straight out of high school and sold me my two previous cars. He had retired a couple of years earlier, but had trained the young man who helped me.I said I have very specific requests. 6 to 8 inches off the ground, a hybrid plug-in and a comfortable highway car AWD. He pointed to the RAV 4 Prime, just detailed sitting in the showroom. It was meant to be! Singh was patient and let me call my husband, who checked all over for the car and then let him raise the price on my trade-in and closed the deal.I am so excited about my new car. I charged her up the first night and am driving around town in my new electric (for 42 miles) RAV 4 Prime.

We spent months contacting local Toyota dealerships to find a particular new Toyota in the color we wanted. The car we wanted was very popular and many dealerships were reserving them months in advance and adding large dealer markups to the price. Berkeley Toyota was very straight forward to work with from the very beginning and clearly communicated by email about the car availability. When the car we wanted came in, they contacted us right away and we agreed upon a price and came right in to purchase it. Everyone we worked with was friendly, honest, and efficient. They honored their price and did not try to play games like we experienced at other dealerships. We felt very good about our car purchase and will definitely go to Berkeley Toyota for our next one!

Rude and indifferent customer service. They were rude to my wife when she went to get a replacement part. They only said the cost of the part on the phone, and then told her the total cost, including labor, when she was at the store.

Had a great time working with Imad on my new car. Transaction was quick and smooth! Was in and out of the dealer within 1.5 hours. Biggest kicker is I got a fair market price on a rare car that is currently hard to find.

AJ, Vanessa, Ben and Jose were all super helpful and amazing yesterday when I bought my used 2013 Jeep Wrangler. This was my first time financing a car and I was nervous about being self employed and having a newer credit history. They worked with me to find the best deal and I felt extremely taken care of, respected, and communicated with in a transparent and straight forward way. For someone like me who has had a lot of anxiety about the car buying process, this was the most seamless and positive experience I could have hoped for. I got my dream car and also 3 years warranty from the dealership since the original had expired. I feel great moving forward with my new Jeep knowing that I have that coverage and knowing that I can afford my monthly payments thanks to them getting me the best deal! After over a year of looking at Jeeps and researching what I wanted and how to get it, I know I got a great deal and am eternally grateful for the folks at Toyota Berkeley for making my dreams come true.

We found the specific Toyota we were looking for on their website at a great price, discounted just below MSRP when other dealers in the South Bay we re marking them up $5k above MSRP. I contacted them and Imad followed up with me via email. We emailed back and forth and agreed on an out the door price and made an appointment to come in and buy it. Imad kept his word and honored the agreed upon price (a lot of places add on other fees etc once you arrive), and they even made a decent offer on old car as a trade-in. I appreciated how they weren t pushy or condescending, much different from other dealers we had visited.

Relatively new Toyota owner here. Bought a RAV4 pre-owned in another state. Went to have the tires replaced via another business and found the car was sold to us without a wheel lock key. Worked with Toyota of Berkeley to order a new set of wheel locks and the gentleman in the parts department was kind and helpful. He encouraged me to just ask the service folks if they d be willing to help me get the old locks off and replace with the new ones. While there, they were a bit busy but a nice lady who was the cashier helped me book an appointment for the next morning. I arrived the following morning for the appointment and they were able to complete the job in less than 10 minutes. Will definitely have my vehicle serviced and do future business with this location the future. Thank you, Toyota of Berkeley!
