Great mechanic reasonable price keep my 63 Chevy impala running great. It's hard to find someone to steal work on old schools cars

Until a few years ago I'd been taking my car to a different place in Berkeley (with a strong reputation). But my experience here has been great. Very helpful in explaining the problems in as much details as I wanted. Honest and helpful. Answered all my questions. Provided options based on budget, and wound up saving me a considerable amount based on what the other place quoted me.

I dropped off my car with the check engine light on. I was called back about an hour later and Jim explained the issue clearly and with appropriate detail. He was able to answer all my questions. He suggested I go to the dealership for what the issue required and I appreciated his candidness. I will be back to get my oil changed here due to the friendly service.

Bruce is amazing, took my car to several other people over the years, always had same issue. Bruce New what issue was right off. And he was really affordable. Truly the best. I recommend him to all my friends.

Remarkably bad. I stopped in for an oil change & the guy couldn t have been less helpful. I left & went to fellows, where they were great!

My family has been taking our cars (various Ford, Plymouth, VW models) here for years and they're trustworthy, reliable, honest, and friendly. I highly recommend them.

I've brought my car here a few times and always been surprised how helpful, honest, and friendly this place is. Always willing to shoot straight and educate. He's done work for literally half the price the dealership quoted me.

I'm so grateful to this guy for being a straight-shooter. I'd always been afraid to take my car to mechanics because I never felt like I was getting straight answers, but from Mike's Auto Services, I've gotten nothing but honesty, good prices, and quick turnaround. Thank you!!

I have been using the service for several years now. They catch problems and don't do unnecessary repairs. My car has almost 140k miles and is running well!

I'd give this place 6 stars if I could.
