I can't thank Curly and the crew at Griffin for their skill, advice, execution and demeanor. There are very, very few folks I trust poking around in the guts of my .:R32, and I'm super thankful to have gotten the chance to become a client of this werke. There was some complexity to the work I needed performed, and they made it look easy, and made in painless for me. What a great shop.

It's a great place with a good selection of high-performance chemicals and some nice hardware upgrades for your sports car. The people are nice and friendly. These people are motor enthusiasts and really take pride in their work. One of the great things about them is that they really listen to your concerns and try to work with you. Kudos to Curly, Natalie, Parker, Terry and the others who make this a great place.

Natalie and team were super responsive from the moment I contacted them via email. Once we had a broad idea of what I wanted fix on my B6 S4, Natalie was able to immediately squeeze me into their calendar, and begin diagnosing the problems I brought up. Throughout the entire process, I received near-daily updates regarding the repairs, observations, and additional work needed to complete the repairs. Although Natalie mentioned they had a busy week, the repairs were complete within a few days after dropping my car off. Awesome service, and even better communications.

I have been unlucky with tires on my new vehicle. However, I have been very lucky to find Griffin Motorwerke for all of my tire repairs and replacements. Everyone that works there is incredibly kind and helpful. Especially, Natalie and Righel!

The guys at Griffin are really knowledgeable and then prices are very reasonable for the bay area. I've taken an Audi R8 there twice for maintenance and they did a wonderful job.

I have a 2009 Audi A3 3.2. 2019 SQ5 in for a MTM Cantronic tune. Waited for car while it was worked on. Huge area, socially distanced for waiting, with tons of great automotive related magazines to pass the time. As for the tune, the HP is definitely there, but I may be jaded, or just expected more, as the late great Mark Donohue once said, "too much horsepower is just about enough". As for the application, the tune is seamless, almost as if an OEM engineer designed and implemented, no stumbles, gaps in delivery or quirks. As an added bonus, it looks great under-hood. Highly recommended for those looking for additional HP. As an added bonus, over the course of the next 3,000 miles, experienced a 1 MPG increase in economy, and it has been exercised regularly, I fully expect this to be permanent . As a disclaimer, in the interest of full disclosure, I have been a customer of Griffin Moterwereke for the over 30 years, and know Terry and his staff very well. Some things never change, the passion for the cars, the interest in safe performance upgrades, and most importantly, the knowledge of the products they endorse and of course, knowledge of the platforms they specialize in, VW, Porsche, Audi. Would highly recommend Griffin Motowerke for anyone looking for solid, proven performance upgrades, and those in search of an alternative to going to the dealership.

G-werke is a fantastic shop with incredibly personable and knowledge staff. My service adviser Humberto aka "Curly" was on point! Knew exactly what i was going for and was on board with helping me achieve the aesthetics and functionality i was hoping to get. I am so impressed and happy with the final product. I anticipate this is the beginning of a long lasting partnership between myself, my vehicle(s) and G-werke. Cannot wait for the next project.Audi Q5 Quattro: Bilstein heavy duty shocks & struts, H&R Lift springs, 034 Motor sports high density strut mounts, and 034 Motor sports complete front control arm kit. She is lifted about 1.5" all the way around w stock rims, and handing like a DREAM! Extremely responsive, grippy and ready for adventure! If you love cars, and if you own a car, they will love you. The owner Terry Griffin is just a general gear head that gets it, he took what dealerships did and made an autoshop that does it as good if not better. The service team is as good as (Dealership Name Here). I felt like I was in a modified Audi dealer ship with better jokes and tons of nice cars to look at. If you haven't been just stop by! I came from SF and I cannot see myself going anywhere else for aftermarket or regular service.

Long overdue review for my guys at Griffin!I have an 18 Passat R line, that they've worked on multiple times now.Boost leaks, 60k service, complete front end suspension rebuild, new set of tires... Even helping me diagnose a broken fuse when I bought a new Radar. They've done a little bit of everything for me and my car. I've even been able to order oil through them, for DIY service. Super prompt, and great on timing.Overall, great group of knowledgeable guys. I don't trust many people with my car, but know that the guys working here have my best interests in mind, and know how to unlock the best and full capabilities of my vehicle.

Went to GM for seatbelt harness for my track toy. I didn't really know what I wanted and was happy to receive a ton of great advice from Chris. Scheduling an appointment was easy and they had an open slot for me the next day. The place is easy to find and I was happy with the service. They even reduced my labor charge since my car came in with rear seats removed which simplified the job a little. A great, honest shop.A year or two ago, I got Recaro seats from them too. They were great, fabricated custom brackets to hold all the OEM airbag sensors rather than chopping them and patching with a resistor like a lesser shop might do. Loved the seats ever since and had no issues. Definitely recommended.

I've been scrambling to find a good shop for my A4, which I definitely could treat a bit better.I was definitely feeling hesitant to start a search for a shop, especially being new to owning a European car. I was recommended Griffin by a friend of mine and from the moment I called, everything was super easy and detail oriented. It was nice to have someone put attention to detail to the minor details. From my appointment reminders, to all the details they listed about my repair. Although I only came in for a 5k service, they let me know about everything I should know about the car. Somehow, I didn't expect this level of service for such a reasonable price.A week later, my car feels perfect, I'm not stressed about taking my car in for future repairs *knocks on wood in Audi reliability*, and I didn't even have to dig into my recreational fun funds!Pro tip, most car shops that I called are scheduling a couple of weeks out, so if your car needs service soon, call ahead of time!Service: Oil change

Great service, great people to talk to for any questions. They provided me a quote that was really good compared to other places and quality is top notch. They even suggested I replace some extra parts due to known faultiness of VW water pumps which can save me few thousand in the near future, thank you!

Always prompt, friendly, informative and all work is done perfectly.This time I bought my Audi A3 3.2 in for 115k mile routine maintenance. The 115k is a big checkup. Not only did they complete everything Audi suggests, they check/drained/filled the Haldex and rear axle. They also caught the serpentine belt needing to be replaced. Thank you for being thorough!The staff spent time answering all my questions about the checkup, current modifications and potential modifications. They also explained suggestions and organizations to help me further enjoy my car! Big nod to Nate for all his patience!My car feels like new! I didn t realize that the AC was not working that strong, until the belt was replaced! (Nice to live in the Bay Area! lol)

The guys at the shop are awesome. They did a good job with replacing my upper control arms and alignment on my S4. Made adjustments to help reduce my cars pulling to one side. Will be taking the car back for future work. The owner of the shop was in Formula 1 for years so it's nice to be around people that care about cars. It's great to finally find a shop I don't have to stress about touching my car. Would highly recommend checking them out if you need any repairs on your Audi.

My new favorite place for auto work. I called around to get an estimate for a suspension modification for my Tesla Model 3, Griffin seemed the most reasonable. Some of the online Tesla forums suggested Griffin Motorwerke as the place to go. I made my appointment with Nate earlier in the week. When I arrived, car was taken back right away and work done efficiently and well. I m very impressed by the size of the shop, cleanliness, and skills of the staff. My Porsche mechanic of the last ten years retired and I had to find another place to go. I found Griffin through great reviews and my experience so far has been totally in line with those reviews. Peter took the time to give me a tour of his very impressive facilities. The did an oil change at very reasonable price and gave me a ride back home after dropping off my car. I went back to have my headlights polished to remove the haze and I'm very pleased with those results, too. I will be coming back here regularly (and hopefully for only scheduled maintenance!).Service: Oil change

The blokes at Griffin Motorwerke are awesome. They did a great job installing the coilovers on my A3. Thanks to Curly for being helpful through the process, giving the right information/ explanation and suggestions, even getting the tires at short notice. Thanks to Bryan for doing the coil overs installation and letting me ride along for the informative test drive. Also thanks to Jesus for balancing and installing the tires then doing wheel alignment. Heaps of thanks. My A3 looks great and the ride is awesome. Definitely feels like a new car.Oh yes, to also mention. In their complimentary inspection, Bryan found that my radiator had leaks down both sides. Being under Audi warranty, their findings allowed me to schedule repair/ replacement with the Audi Service Center in good time.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

I was very pleased with the level of service that I received. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful. Curly, Righuel, Rich, Nate were all very patient with my questions. Being previously in the automotive business, and being a car enthusiast, I felt I got honest answers and updates.All work was explained in detail, Griffin protects both the clients and shop by doing a thorough walk through of vehicle during check in process by taking record of vehicle at drop off time via pictures and video of exterior and interior. The steering wheel, drivers floor mat are protected.How could the experience have been better? Maybe having a touch less filtered water dispenser in waiting area, protecting the drivers seat with a cover, shuttle service(?- I didn t ask, though, so maybe it s offered).I ve made a follow up appointment for some suspension work and will be going back for my service and upgrade needs for my vehicles in the future. I should have gone a while ago and will mention them to my friends.Thanks.

My experience at Griffin was perfect. The garage is staffed with knowledgeable technicians, and the front desk is extremely helpful, and ensured that I knew everything that went on throughout the process of the service of my vehicle.The billing makes sense. The service makes sense. Everything made sense. It was lovely, and unlike any other car service I have had.I almost look forward to the next time my car needs work, because the group at Griffin Motorwerke have me covered.

Griffin Motorwerke provided excellent service and thoroughly explained the work that was done on my car. At every step along the way- from booking an appointment, to learning more about the service needed to picking up my car- everyone I worked with was extremely accommodating and very friendly. In the past I took my car directly to the local dealership for repairs, but moving forward I will always go to Griffin Motorwerke. Thank you for your attention, care and competitive prices!

These guys are excellent. Ordered Michelin tires for my car (which are asymmetrical), they noticed that they came with 2 of the ones spec d for my vehicle, but then the delivery service included two tires for the Porsche GT3. Obviously, they noticed something was off and that the tires were slightly different. They made sure to get the other two tires in the right spec. A lot of shoddy work gets done in the auto world, and I may not have noticed the subtle differences on the sidewall. They were also very diligent and thorough when performing inspections. This is NO "run of the mill" or "lets make a deal" shop! These guys will research, diagnose and road test until they find the problem with your toy/ride/car.They will follow up with you with information during diagnoses to let you know the exact parts needed to repair, tune, or increase horsepower and torque for complete enjoyment!Remember, "you pay for what you get"! Top notch service is not cheap, but, these guys don't break the bank, very fair, nice clean facility, looks like an auto clinic with a bunch of doctors fron "Grey's Anatomy"except, They know what they are doing!My Volvo was repaired and Jaguar was serviced here.Great experience and job! "10"

Griffin is great in all the important ways - except they don't wash my car when I bring it in for service (that's an inside joke). Professional, courteous, good listeners, friendly, smart, reliable, efficient, great communication, reasonable prices (definitely better than the dealers). I can't imagine going elsewhere, or ever getting better service.

Had the guys install a lift kit to raise my Tesla 3 so the car can go down my driveway and into my garage.The guys were really friendly, knew exactly what to do and completed the job on the day and time as promised.An estimate is provided and authorized by you before the work. The team headed by Terry Griffin and the scheduler, Curly will be your contacts and you will enjoy their humor and their patience as they explain what is being done.Recommend this place highly

Brought my 2012 VW Golf to Griffin and got an estimate $600 cheaper than the dealer (with additional work). They did the work replacing the motor mounts and the car now purrs. Will definitely be back for regular maintenance and repair. I recommend the team at Griffin.
