As in the title it s easy in and out service. Now because I didn t read the fine print the coupon. Discount price Didn t apply to out of state car. Sucks but service was good.

Don t go in without a coupon. They re reasonably priced and the service is fast and good if you have one. If you don t, prepare to be hit by a $118 bill you weren t expecting.

I purchased a Groupon and Groupons website wasnt working when I was at the shop. The owner was very kind and said that when I get the voucher to just call him with the details. He is efficient and organized and the entire process took about 15 min. I appreciate how friendly he was and kind. The situation was frustrating for me because there was a line of people and I didnt want to have to come back, so for him to allow me to send him the details after I left, was gracious.Service: Smog certification

Very fast and convenient, took no time at all to get me in and get the car done, very nice gentleman that conversed and treated my car with respect and calmly explained how the service would go and that was looking forward to my car passing with flying colors. It passed and now I m good for another year awesome, take your car here and you won t regret it.

I didn't know about the coupon or website. I was charged 89.95 but the owner didn't ask or ever mentioned it is only 29.95 with coupon. Fine I didn't do the research but this is shady for $70 difference.Owner, do yourself some good karma and you don't have to do business like this.

I just got back from having my smog check from Umit and I am very pleased by my experience. He was super efficient and very charming and friendly, and I got it at a low coupon price. What a nice guy! The whole visit only took 12 minutes. Thanks, Umit! I'll be back next time!

Came in and they would not serve me because I had a coupon. They were not busy. Forced me to create an appointment for the next day. Coupon had no such stipulations. Just bad service. If you do not want to honor coupons, don't offer them.

Nice guy, answers the phone, quotes honest price and advise special promo time (up to 10:30 am). I arrive, check in, show him the coupon and he test vehicle (2010 Honda) and gives me passing paperwork and takes agreed amount. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?! Why is this the exception in 'smogland'. Everybody else gives you the run-around, doubletalk and fake "special pricing". This is the real deal. GO THERE!

The best spot for smog in Berkeley, CA. Umit, the owner is a wonderful honest guy with a great personality. I bring all my cars here. His shop is highly recommended. No one of my friends and family that I send here was ever disappointed.

Awesome service. In and out. Very professional. Had to go from the Gilman location to 34th location eas very generous of owner to automatically give me a discount for my inconvenience. Would recommend any day. Ps. Please to see such well mannered/ professional children. #familytrainedthemwell

The man is nice and respectful I recommend it to everyone if you want a great job done and between the hours of 9 to 10:30 they have a early bird special/discount to get your smog test done for only $30.00 dollars you can't beat that price

This smog shop on gilman and san pablo was the best experience! I have a '96 accord that recently got a new battery. It failed first test as computer needed to be reset. The man doing smog check was thorough,, polite and really super helpful! My choice from now on!! Thank you so much! Hours are not accurate. Arrived at 5:00pm to do a test. Nobody was in line and they were leaving. Need to be more honest with their lazy work schedule.

Price was reasonable with a coupon but beware the fine print. Will charge extra if the dmv directs you to "star" smog check on the notice.
