This is my second review 2 years after my first one:1. Today(09\07\2023) I found out they're not even an authorized payment center for utilities. My water got shut off today because of them. Called Golden state water and they told me they're not authorized and NOT to use them anymore. They asked for a picture of my receipt and said they're putting this place on a watch list, that they probably just take customers money and account numbers and call to place the payments themselves.2. Usually Romero is pretty great, but the Hispanic guy working in the smoke shop part of the store, is a different story. He's very impatient, and doesn't know anything about bongs, down stems, bowls, anything weed\wax related. I chose a bong out and he was very pushy about the fact that that was a "weed" bong and thought I couldn't use it for wax. I told him I have the bowl piece already I just needed a new bong thanks, and he kept shoving this dinky little glass piece at me insisting I needed it instead. And THEN!! HE HANDED ME A DIRTY, USED, GLASS ADAPTER!!! AND WAS TRYING TO CHARGE ME FULL PRICE FOR IT! SAYING IT WASN'T USED AND U CAN CLEARLY SEE THE WAX ALL MELTED AND DRIPPED INSIDE OF IT! On top of that he was offended that I told him it was used and dirty, and kept arguing AT me that it was brand new. Then had the audacity to set it down and went to pick it up again and couldn't find it, so he straight up told me "find the dirtiest one, that was it"...IF YOU KNOW ITS DIRTY ITS OBVIOUSLY USED!! Moron. Worst experience I've ever had at shop for less.Romero, you deserve better employees.And us loyal customers deserve better employees too lol.

I've been shopping there for 17 yrs , it's a good place to shop, it's locally owned, it's important to support our locally owned businesses, they have a large selection of products from work boots to zebra cakes, all at fair prices, they also now sell beer. Go Shop For Less, is my place to go Shop For Less. Love it.

I love the store but this review is about Andy. He has the best customer service I have experienced in awhile. He is always friendly and courteous and helpful. He will stop what he is doing to assist his customers. He always has a smile on his face and an upbeat attitude. Its a joy seeing him and having him in the store. I wish more people in the world had his personality and people skills.

I can't tell you how many trips to town this store has saved us! The inventory is great and if we can't find something we just ask and the owner and his wife find it for us. The owners are wonderful people, honest and sincere. Love having a corner market!

First time in, to make a purchase I felt the available staff were very friendly and helpful and now after frequent visits over the last three months I am at "regular customer" status and now have casual lighthearted conversations if there's no one in the line behind me and I feel like the staff have become my newest "5-minuet" friends I visit three or four times a week. Overall the store is well kept and clean and offers a nice little variety of odds and end outside the normal merchandise that you'd typically find in a convenience store. So if you're passing by or live nearby and haven't yet shopped at Shop For Less you'll be pleased with the attitude, atmosphere and reasonable prices this little mart has to offer. FYI, they don't sell alcohol here.

I love this store so much!!! They always give the best service and always have the best goodies!!!! I would recommend this shop to any person I know or come to meet!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING BY!!!! So yummy!!!

A family oriented environment friendly workers, place is kept clean and very well stocked with an ample variety of product's ranging from a family everyday meals to hygiene, and even auto necessities. I recommend this business definately if one is in a hurry last minute needs or to save us a trip into town.

Romeo and his wife Shereen are the proprietors. They are friendly, helpful and are well known and loved by the locals. In fact if there is something that you like and they don t happen to carry it you can just mention it to Romeo and/or his wife and the next time you stop in they just might have it in stock! They really go above and beyond for their customers in that respect. Romeo offers:1) Check cashing services2) Bill paying services3) Send faxes4) Make black and white copies5) Sell U.S. Postage stamps6) Offer up to $40 cash back on credit/debit card purchases7) ATM on premises8) Tobacco and Vape supplies9) Apparel Items10) Cold Slushie s and Hot Pizza Slices11) Limited fresh produce12) A large variety of beverages13) Limited canned goods and other odds and ends.14) Cigarettes by the pack and by the carton15) Super Lotto and assorted Scratch off games.They DO NOT SELL beer, wine or liquor.

Great corner store I've going here since I was 15yrs old I'm 27yrs now same great people same great service. They always have fresh products and produce.Like I told you all I never had a bad experience until yesterday. So I walk in the store to cash a $12.75 check. Any how I walk in and the owner "Romeo" is on the phone very upset and arguing in his language. So while on the phone he addresses me and says hello I say hello back I just need to cash this check for "$12.75 he looks at and says where did this come from I say the mail lol jp mortgage. And then he tells me it's fraudulent and he can't cash it. So I'm like are you serious then he gives me attitude and says I can't do it most of these checks are fraudulent. I'm like it's only $12.75 how fraudulent can it be? Anyway I'm pissed off cause he wouldn't cash it since I been going there since I was teenager. I feel he transferred his bad attitude towards me the customer when he was probably just mad at his wife.

This store is one of three stores that are a block from each other great service very friendly they carry no alcohol but just about everything else most definitely a store I recommend if you're looking for that one item that's rare they have it and if they don't have it they will do everything that they can to get it for you Devine's and discount Market not friendly whatsoever

Extremely pleased she was very courteous and helpful. I am from Kansas City Mo. And running out of tobacco that I us3d for my cigarettes and found this place that I won't forget and will be back to do more business.

rude owner who tries to rip you or your kids off. I let my son go in by himself to get a bag of chips. what shocked me is when he came back empty handed and said he didnt have enough. now I know for a fact he had more than enough. so when i got down to confront him he tries to tell me to leave his store. If i could i would give them no stars, ive been in lenwood wood my whole life and id always had a problem with missing money today romeo was working and i had my son go in there with his change he has been saving up but he wanted somthing worth exactly 4 dollars and i made sure i counted $4.30 i felt had to go in thhere cuz motherly instincts said to go in there and sure enough he never counted it and said i only had 3 somthing he was trying to skrew my son over i had it and he needs to be exposed on this make sure you get all your money back be warned they are not for the customer they only care about there well being..

I have been going 2 this store since they opened in 2000. They have the friendliest workers, shelves & shelves of useful things. I would recommend this little shop 2 anyone!!! Tell Romeo Sara sent ya! Lol

This place is convince store for Lenwood residents. It does have many things but as expected very high priced. And other stores like Walmart are really only 10 mins away.

Best corner store in town. Clean, great service, good prices, and a wonderful varirty of tobacco items and wraps. Check it out.
