CRIMINALS! Very unprofessional, extreme lack of communication, and ended up stealing $522 from me! To make a long story short, we broke down in Barstow on a Saturday evening. All shops were closed until Monday. I found this guy on google, seemed to have good reviews, so I called. I got my car towed to our hotel in Barstow, and he said he would come diagnose that night. He stopped answering phone and texts, and never showed up. Around 12:30am his mechanic showed up, seemed like a good guy, and proceeded to wrench on my car until around 4am. Never figured out the problem. Took off and said he would be back to run more tests, never showed back up. The owner and mechanic both stopped answering calls or texts. He shows back up Sunday afternoon, wrenches on my car for another few hours, and determines it needs a fuel pump. He took my fuel pump out of the car, and took off with my car keys! Neither him or the owner returned my calls or texts until very late that evening. He did not show back up until Monday morning. Needless to say I got my keys back from him, canceled the service, and got my car towed to Midas, which fixed me right up. In the process, the owner sent me an invoice which I paid through HIS app, and then he told me he also needed me to Venmo him money for the time spent. After I canceled his service, I told him to keep the $350 I venmoed him, but I would need a refund of the $522 I paid through his invoice. He kept saying he would process the refund, but it never happened. He knows I dont have time to take him to small claims over $522, so he pretty much stole the money from me and never refunded it. Seems like he preys on out of town folks who brake down on weekends and have no choice. Do not give this guy your money! Me and family were stuck for 3 days and got swindled!

Good...when he showed up.Like so many others, our vehicle died outside of Barstow. After trying replacing a few parts to clear the OBDII codes, it still wouldn't run. We called On Time Mobile Mechanic late on a Friday afternoon and he came out pretty fast. He found and repaired two vacuum leaks, then successfully diagnosed that the fuel pump was only working intermittently. He came back later than agreed on Saturday and proceeded with the large job of dropping the gas tank and installing the new fuel pump inside of it, all along side the highway. He wrapped this up and we paid him through that point via PayPal. We give him 5 stars up to this point. Up in the engine a gasket was still needed on the air intake. Saturday night he went to get it, but did not come back. After some calls/texts, he said he'd return on Sunday at 7:30 am, but he never returned. No replies to texts and calls. Gave up at 11:30. Down to 4 stars. We stacked his tools along side the road, reassembled the air intake and filter, drove to the auto parts store in town and made a gasket. We drove on an hour, pulled off the highway, and noticed a wet trail of gasoline drips. Fortunately the whole thing didn't burst into flames! We feared that the seal atop the fuel tank was bad, but upon inspection a fuel line from the tank did not have its hose clamp replaced, and another line to the fuel filler had fallen off. Down to 3 stars, and that's being charitable given the danger. One or both lines were leaking. We put on two hose clamps and the leaking seemed to have stopped, but the tank was only halfway full. Filling it up all the way resulted in more leakage, probably at the top, which means that we'll have to pay someone else to drop the fuel tank again. Down to 2 stars.

I broke my spark plug in my cylinder head, and called him the next morning. He came right out within 30 mins. After hours of him going to work on the plug (and me getting worried because things were not looking good) he finally managed to get it out (which I taught was impossible due to the damage to the plug). I was worried and he was persistent and he finally broke the threads loose and was able to remove the plug. So started my car up after he left and it purred like nothing ever happened! So yes i am a satisfied customer. Thanks again Tony!!!

Choose wisely. In the area for work and had an issue with my RV furnace. Anthony arrived for the service call, "researched" the issue, and "diagnosed" the problem.charged for parts that needed to be picked up and promised he would be back the next day. Demanded payment for the repair by cash app that was rejected due to fradulent activity (I think I know why now) had to pay by Google pay. The work was never completed, promised multiple times in the subsequent days that he would return and never did. Furnace and ductwork were never reconnected, parts were not replaced, and multiple attempts to contact for a partial refund were ignored. Unprofessional, unreliable, and definitely not trustworthy.

Absolutely unparalleled car service technician!! Our car broke down in Barstow only two days before our boarding date for a cruise. Our 1997 Toyota 4 runner was overheating and ultimately had to be towed into town to a hotel we were going to stay at. Antonio the owner of On Time Mobile Mechanic was able to come look at our car THAT NIGHT and diagnose our issues as water pump failure, timing belt, and coolant tubing and was able to fix our car in 24 hours. Antonio is one of the hardest workers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and the next day him and his crew worked from 9am until 8am the following morning!!!! They were able to fix everything right there in the parking lot!!! As far as auto shops go you will NEVER find a better deal on pricing in town with the added benefit of quick service! I would recommend this company to anybody that likes having great work done on your car at an UNBEATABLE price point. Thanks Antonio and crew for getting us to our cruise on time!!!!!

Good experience. U joint went bad on a Sunday evening on a cross country road trip, we babied it through 130 miles of nowhere and contacted Antonio 45 minutes out. He had us meet him in Barstow. All told, it took us 4.5 hours (both waiting for him to complete another job and meet us there, and to complete the work on our truck), to hit the road again with three new U joints. Price was as expected, quoted in advance, and what we would have paid anywhere, and considering this all happened without us needing to find a dealership, wait for business hours, etc., it was the best possible outcome for an interstate break down.

I Stopped at a park in Barstow on my way home from Los Angeles. When I got in my car to continue the trip, my car would not start. It was on a Sunday so everything was closed, except On Time Mobile Mechanic. I called and they arrived within the time quoted on the phone. He tested my battery and verified it was dead. He offered to go pick me up a battery and replace it. I declined and just asked for a jump so I could make it to Autozone. He gave me a Jump and we went on with our Day. This was a great experience and Antonio saved the day. Top notch guy that took the time to help a traveler passing through, even if it was just for a Jump.

2010 Honda Odyssey; at 10:30pm my engine light starts flashing and car shakes, so I pulled to the side of the road and start googling my options. I was 40 miles east of Barstow. I found On Time Mobile Mechanic and gave him a call. He answered immediately and gave me many reassurances that he could fix my car and have me on my way quickly, for which I was very relieved and thankful.Antonio rolled up to my car at about 11:30pm in a Kia sedan (his work truck was being serviced that evening). I imagine this process would have been quicker if he had the work truck with the proper tools. I had a movie on for my children so my battery was drained by the time he arrived. It took a good 45 minutes for him to get my car started (he had to jerry-rig some jumper cables together).Once the car was started he set up his OBD2 scanner (The Ancel X5 if I remember correctly; Google it, it's amazing) and proceeded to check the engine. He ran a few scans and performed some manual inspection. He determined my engine was misfiring on 2 cylinders. He gave me the option for him to drive to a 24hr auto parts, come back and fix my car; or, we drive back to Barstow, grab a hotel, and he fix it first thing in the morning. The cost for him to drive out to the 24hr autoshop would have been very steep and I didn't want to chance not getting all of the necessary parts. His professional opinion was that I should get it fixed ASAP, but that we should not do it on the side of the freeway, and that the car was safe to drive back to Barstow (obviously he didn't charge me for the drive back to Barstow).Next morning he was under my car's hood by 7:30am. After a few trips back and forth from Autozone (right across the street) he replaced all 6 spark plugs and 2 coils, and we were back on the road at 9:30am.Obvious mistakes: 1 - bring a good set of jumper cables, 2 - I gave him my vehicle information and description of what was happening so he easily could have brought a set of plugs from his shop with the chance that he could have fixed the car quicker (I'm a very inexperienced DIY'er and I knew this was a misfire, probably plugs).Irrelevant now, but might mean something to the readers: 1 - His first suggestion was that it was motor mounts causing the car shaking, 2 - it took 2 hours to swap 6 plugs and 2 coils. It cost me $800 (parts for your car will most likely be different - however I find it beneficial to post my cost as a ballpark number for you).Clear Benefits: This guy drove out to my car in the middle of the night, he is on call 24/7 - he will come to you if you call him. He WILL find out what is wrong with your car, as of May 2019 he has nearly 20 years of experience in this position. He is friendly and reassuring, not at all condescending (like many mechanics). Round trip, I only lost a couple of hours with this breakdown; if I towed to a mechanic and waited for morning, I would have been stuck at least another day.10/10 I will hire him again if the situation calls for it. If you break down anywhere near Barstow, and you need to get moving, call Antonio. I highly recommend.

I would have given 5 stars if he got my car to start but for taking my burnt up stuck spark plugs that was appriecated but we felt like he ditched us. So if you have an easy roadside assistance he got you no problem. We had a 2 day wait and still couldn't go from Barstow to Vegas. Some homeless man walked up a week later...took a look and said give me some tape and the car started and we got home. Spent $190.00 for spark plug removal and didn't even need the $90.00 Blue Devil he gave us. Now we are back home and it won't start so hey. That's my experience.

Broken down in an RV that was brand new to me. I had no idea what was going on. Antonio diagnosed the problem and got me on my way. He was there after everyone had closed and back again before anyone was open.He worked hard to find me parts and was more than reasonable with his rates. He explained clearly what was going on and how he fixed it. Had me test it while he was there. I was very impressed with both his service and his character. Highly Recommend.

Went to start the RV and we had nothing. The office here at KOA reccommended Antonio so I called him and he came out as promised and on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and left to buy the parts and got us on my way quickly and smoothly. He was polite and funny and knew what he was doing. He worked hard and explained clearly what was going on and what he was going to. I was very impressed with both his service and his character. I Highly Recommend Antonio...Thanks Antonio for getting us back up and running.

Be aware of this company. They don t have license to operate. I complain the owner Antonio Goode to my Lawyer and to Bureau of Mechanics and they found out that they don t have license toOperate when My husband called them to fix our truck. To make the story short they took our money and run. My lawyer send a certified letter but they moved out of their apartment. They don t deserve even one star. I hope the bureau gave them citation for not having a license. And I don t think they re a real mechanic. So don t call these people they re SCAMMERS! The address they posted in the google is not their real address.

Worst experience I ever had. The belt in my car broke. They kept telling me they will send someone to help. Waited for several hours, until it got dark and scary. They left a single woman with non working car, stranded in a parking lot, for several hours. Spent the night in a nearby hotel. Thankfully, there is Car Clinic, open on Sundays to resolve my issue. Will never recommend this business. Extremely unprofessional.

Lifesaver. Godsend. If neither word is Antonio's middle name, one of them ought to be. We were stuck in Barstow with a battery that wasn't just dead, it was no good. Car stopped responding to jumping it. Battery needed to be replaced altogether. And if you've ever tried to change a battery on a Pontiac Solstice, you know that's NOT easy!! Antonio had to literally take a piece of the BODY between the door and the front wheel off in order to access the battery cavity. But he left the car just as he found it, saw the job through to completion, and we've had no problems since. Thanks for being there for us, Antonio!

I cannot say Thank You enough Antonio!! I called him this morning with an engine light issue. He came over within an hour, thoroughly checked the vehicle and diagnosed it. He went and purchased the parts needed and had it all fixed and ready to go! Totally upfront and honest man. I would highly recommend him and will continue to call him for any mechanical needs!

The dude seemed to be a legit cool and nice guy but ended up being the total opposite and unprofessional. We waited an entire day for him to just keep giving us the run around. We paid for an diagnosis which he wasn't even truthful about the problem ended up being way worse then he was saying it was. He did not take any money up front but he did not do his job at all either and just left us hanging. I would not recommend him at all

Antonio seems like a nice enough guy, but this was the most money I've ever wasted on a mechanic. It took 30 min to find a drip from a hose, which he was convinced was the cause of the engine being too hot. He continued from there to take apart part of the engine to get to the hose even though he didn't have a replacement part. It seemed like this was because he didn't know what hose it was. The next day, I spoke to two mechanics who had previously done good work for me, but are both too far away to help. They both said that the drip wasn't enough to cause the problem the truck was having, and one specifically said that we needed to figure out the bigger problem or else we'll end up paying for labor twice; both for the hose and for the real problem whenever it's found at a later date. They also both knew exactly what hose I was talking about, what it looked like, and where it went. When I mentioned further diagnosis to Antonio, he stood firm that it wasn't necessary. He agreed only to plug the scanner in at my request to make sure there weren't codes. Even I knew that was a long shot, but it was the only thing he seemed willing to do. When I mentioned test driving it, he said "I'd have to test drive it all day," which simply wasn't true. He ended up showing up without the hose, assuming I didn't want to pay over $400 for it. He happened to be correct, but only because I didn't think it was the actual problem and I wanted the whole ordeal to be over with. His solution was to put JB Weld on the hose, which may or may not have plugged a minor leak. Then he wanted payment for what the labor would have been for the hose (2.5 hours), plus additional for the jb weld and scanner, but most of the labor he did was unnecessary and still without the result of a diagnosis. From my experience, I could have paid less than half the amount he was asking as a diagnostic fee from a dealer and would have surely gotten a better diagnosis. Antonio essentially put a band-aid on my arm because he saw a scratch, but left my arm broken. As soon as I got on the highway, the truck was having the same issue again. He said he would come back out, but if he wasn't open to further diagnostics or a test drive before, what would he do now? And could I trust his judgement? I decided I couldn't.Even if he came up with another possible cause, I wasn't convinced it would be handled properly or that I would be charged fairly. It felt like Antonio wasn't considering what was best for me or my vehicle and was maybe looking for the quickest fix that he could argue as the cause of the problem. Maybe he really thought the drip was the issue, but he wasn't open to any other possibilities, even when I told him that the other mechanics had confidently said there had to be more to it if the fluid levels aren't low. I was able to get him to come down a little on price, but it was still way more than it should have been and I feel like I ended up paying for his mistakes and/or lack of knowledge. If you're stuck on the interstate and need an obvious repair or part replacement, Antonio may be a reasonable option. But if you need a thorough and thoughtful diagnostic, I can't recommend him in the slightest given my experience. If you can, go to an experienced mechanic (esp for deisel) in a town/city that doesn't rely on interstate breakdowns for the majority of their business.UPDATEIn response to Antonio, you showed up without the hose, having made the assumption yourself. We were expecting a replacement, but instead you showed up with JB Weld. So what I said is correct. When you showed up, I agreed that I didn't want the $400+ hose (after a $216 quote) because I wanted it to be over with and I was confident it wasn't the problem. Turned out I was right. The coolant was overheating (212 deg) and the radiator needed to be flushed. I had that done, plus got three other parts replaced while they were in there for only $520. Now it's running fine and it had nothing to do with the hose. How did they figure it out? By test driving it.

We were stuck in town and there weren't any radiators available. He drove down to another town and picked it up, then met us at the car to work on it. Amazing willingness to compromise and he tries to help out as much as he can. Definitely recommend if you run in to car troubles

Seems to be a nice enough guy however limited experience on diesels. Fuel pumps are not in the fuel tank on pre 2017 6.6 duramax. Shame on me as I didn't know either, 1st deisel. We can chalk this up to an expensive learning experience. He ended up ruining a $1000 part that wasn't broken and didn't need to be tampered with. After researching his diagnosis/solution on the fly I ended up figuring out that something did not add up and i canceled his services and sent to a different mechanic who got me back on the road. Also be wery of 5 star reviews from a one time reviewer, just saying. Got me, could happen to you. Seems to me that this guy know cars and is probably you guy for a battier or alternator fix but definitely not your deisel. I don't give one stars often however in this case I would have much preferred being told that this issue was a little out of his stance and a recommendation to someone who could handle it like many auto repair shops do that don't handle diesels.

Don't trust this guy . He charged me double the price and came very late at night just to take a look and charged me for coming and then told me he's back in one hour and didnt.he showed up next day afternoon and pretend to fix the car while he didnt even know what the issue is,later he couldn't fix my car and run away pretending to bring some drink and be back and took his full fees which was double , he never came backMY car still dead and parked in my driveway I tried to call him and sent texts to ask him to come finish the job I already paid him in full but he never bother eventhough taking double the price .how can you trust this guy and give him your car to mess up with it. I'll work to check if he even has a license to run his business so am working on it but please be careful DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY AT ALL

Takes complete advantage of young people that don t know too much about cars this person is horrible blew my compressor by over filling my air conditioning and lied about the codes on my car told me no codes popped up. I took it to the dealership they say 15 codes popped up and he used his tools to erased the code info so I had no choice but to take it in to the dealer because autozone couldn t get a code because he erased them with his computer tool that hooks up to your car he never popped my hood he just took my 100$ and did nothing but lie and had me driving my car with a failing transmission knowing my car showed the codes when he hooked his tools I called to ask for help the next day and he never showed UNLESS you don t mind waisting money and time and also being lied to about your vehicle and scammed by having your whole car computer whipped out of memory I suggest NOT USING THEM !!! Also he is a out of the garage type business he looks crookedService: Transmission

Although Anthony and Paul came about 2 hrs late, its obvious that they have no formal training in RV repair but have some mechanical knowledge and the internet which they used to narrow down the problem we were having with our slideout. 3 hours later, the problem was discovered, and a remedy applied. Although their remedy only fixed the failed part on the track that the slideout operates on, we are forced to replace the slideout s motor and maybe the switch. As it is, we have to hand crank the slideout in and out until we can get to a reputable RV repair service to solve the rest of the slideout s electrical issue. As Nonresidents of the state and being a Saturday-they were the only ones available in Barstow, so we were forced to pay their ballooned invoice in cash. For some reason, they don t take cards or checks only cash which tell us they are not licensed, bonded or even legit. Their vehicle is not a work vehicle, no name on the side. About the only positive thing we can say is that they do try their darndest to solve our slideout problem. At least we can operate it manually for now-Thanks guys!

We are very grateful for the availability of the services! They were able to replace the fuel filter on our 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD. It took some time to get here, but they had to get the part & drive to our local RV spot. Thank you very much!

What a lier and person without neither honor nor responsibility. I stuck in a middle of desert and he promised to come for repairs. Than he didn't respond on texts or calls, not stating that he will not come either. Don't deal with this guy, I had read bad reviews on him and therefore, it didn't take me long to get confirmation that I have to look for someone else.Surely he will respond to this review with some lie. Stay away!

We go to the car the Batt is dead. AAA comes out the belt is not new nor is it on. I call their phones are not active as in some one did not pay the bill.
