We had a blowout on I15 while on vacation. Trish at Mr Ds was able to get us right in with the correct size tire. We have 18 inch tires, not so common.The waiting room is very nice with coffee, water, tv, and reading material.However we only had to wait 30 minutes.

Wouldn't recommend this place for large jobs. I broke down outside of Barstow. I was on a family vacation. My cars transmission blew. So let me just say this place wasn't the worst experience of my life. They had no care or concern that me and my family was stuck in Barstow. They drug their feet for a month before they completed my transmission only to tell me my engine was blown. There front desk manager had no clue how to run a business she was the sister of the owner and new nothing about mechanics. I had to call my warranty company because she had no ideas what to say to them. Then it took another month for them to complete the engine. Once again with not a care or concern for me dragging the feet the whole time this. I could go on and on about this review but don't but I don't have two months to right all my complaints about this place the mechanic was a joke he couldn't get my transmission of so walked off the job for two days because he argued with the manger and almost quit. So he was inexperienced. To make a two month nightmare short half way through I drove my family back to salt lake with a rental car. I waited until they told me it was done. So drove back to Barstow which is 600 miles from salt lake only to be told they wasn't actually done and it would take two more weeks so i drove all the way back to salt lake. Finally I drove back and the car was done it drove pretty good the first month then became a little sluggish I spent $9000 to have my car fixed. I drove it 21/2 months and the transmission blew the engine shakes. I called them and my number was blocked so I called on my daughters phone they said my warranty with them want covered in Utah. So I had my cousin Who is a mechanic call back a month latter. They told him that it was a 90 day warranty and time had lapsed. They are a joke if your car breaks down dont take it to them you will have to argue with the owner just to get anything done. If I could give negative stars I would. They suck suck suck.

We had been on the road for 7weeks finally got to California 4 hrs from home and our belt broke, we had no power steering! We ended up here thought it was just a quick fix ended up being a little bigger job than we thought ! They actually had a technician come in on Sunday so they could fix our water pump and belt! Tricia was amazing very professional and nice! Will definitely be doing business with them again if we are ever in Barstow again! Thank you my husband will now be able to make his appt tomorrow !

Wouldn t recommend for a specialty alignment. Stock alignments are probably fine. Recently installed aftermarket struts and an upper control arm with easy camber and caster adjustability. I asked for +3.5-4 of caster and told them my tow and camber were likely off. I asked to talk to the tech about it, but the quoter said she would relay it to the tech. I stood outside to try to watch, and because I thought they might want to know how to adjust the caster or camber on the aftermarket upper control arm. They just closed the garage door on me.They aligned the tow and camber but left the caster at +5.5. On the bright side it was 45 minutes. The downside is they could ve taken a bit more time and discussed it with me more before charging $130 for 45 minutes of labor, to not get it right.

Thanks to this place for the amazing customer service in my family's time of need. Traveling down the I -15 with a spare was not fun... Front desk lady was a sweet heart in meeting my kids needs at our time there and giving them water and offering to change the tv when we were waiting for them to change our tires. The staff that put on the tires was so nice as well. Needless to say I made it home to LA with a peice of mind. Thank you!

On our way through town our tire pressure lights came on, we stopped in here and they quickly and kindly helped us out for free. Super nice lady at the desk.

Mister D's and their associates have the integrity and compassion for it's customers. I had an unfortunate issue and it was resolved quickly. Since we were from out of town all was handled via emails and phone calls. I have notified all Friend's and family, if they are passing thru and need service, Mister D's is the place.Again, I cannot thank Mister D's enough for their integrity, especially Patricia English, Store Manager.Thank you.(When passing thru, I'll be sure to stop by and thank you personally).

I cannot say enough positive things about the service and care we got from Mr D s. We are traveling from out of town in a rental and got a flat in the middle of nowhere over an hour from the shop. I talked to them multiple times to be sure they had what we needed before we arrived. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. They truly saved our trip.

The receptionist knows her cars and they are very professional. I was there for a wheel alignment and wasn't there long at all. No appointment. They are certified Intoxalock.

Overheated on 1-15 towed into Barstow. Mr D s got us in right away- tested our car replaced censor and got us back on the road before the timeframe that the AAA approved mechanic at the other shop could have even run diagnostics.Mr D s was professional, courteous, and just as importantly fixed the problem! Very reasonable prices.Not just tires at Mr D s!!!Thank you Trish and the team for saving our trip!

OMG!!! Customer service at it's best! TRISH was amazing and very accommodating. JASON and HECTOR apparently love their work as they did it in a timely manner with all smiles. Highly recommend this business for all you vehicle needs.

I have went to this place twice to patch my tire, two different tires. The first patch I did lasted a long while and it s still going strong. Today I went for a different tire because I had a slow leak they told me what was wrong with it and patched it up for me. It is inexpressive and the people there are so nice especially the lady in the front ( I m sorry I don t know your name) both times the job was done fast and right. I give this place 5 stars I would give more if I could. I will be going there for as long as I live here. Thank you guys!!

My tire went flat in the middle of nowhere going down I-15 on the way home from Vegas. By the time the tow truck reached Barstow, it was close to closing for most of the tire places. Our first option didn t have the tire we needed and sent us over to Mr. D s. They took us in 15 minutes to close and got the job done in 10. They were really accommodating and friendly, and I couldn t have asked for better service in the midst of a stressful experience.

My family was traveling to California for for one of the children s wedding during the heat of this year s summer. I was traveling separately because of work. Let s just say stress levels were high. While stopped in Barstow the differential failed on the suburban.Two local angels directed my wife to this shop. The manager began to work directly with the mechanics to find someone willing to get the work done that day as they had other prior commitments to other customers. Or only was the work completed that day, but it was done relatively quickly while my family waited. The shop could have taken advantage but did not. All went well with the shop and the wedding went off without a hitch two days later!!

Very professional and friendly staff. I needed a tire repaired and they got me in and out quickly. 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I was on my way. I highly recommend these guys if you need anything automotive done on your car.

Drove from Canada to LA. Stopped in Barstow because of a flat tire. Flat tire was fixed and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes (that was with 4 customers ahead of me). Service was excellent! Would absolutely come back again. Thank you

Super shop! Traveling from California back to Utah when we hit a pothole, creating a golf ball sized bulge in our front driverside tirewall. Their shop was first listed on Google and I gave them a call. They had the tire I needed in stock and were able to get me taken care of. The mechanics took time out of their lunch to ensure we could get back on the road quickly! The shop went above and beyond to get us fixed and on our way.I would recommend this shop to anyone traveling and caught in a stressful situation.

i blown my heads on my engine and i was in need of an engine swap done on my camry i took it into mr ds shop on main st and they told yea they can do it and they had their mechanic daniel come in and do the swap you know i have always heard of shops doing things fast and getting in done but to watch a shop do a whole engine swap in 3 DAYS time like that crazy but hey im back on the road again and im honestly really satisfied with their work il be back to get my cats replace next in the future and so again big thank you to patricia daniel and steven for getting my car in and out and back to be safe to drive thank you.

The staff at Mr. D's were went above and beyond when I brought them my totaled car. After giving me a fair price to diagnose and confirm my car was totaled, they did everything in their power to make the painful experience as painless as possible. Trish from the front desk personally drove me to a car rental spot 30 minutes away from the garage, Charles used one of his own tools to salvage as much gas from my (recently filled) tank as he could, and the rest of the mechanics were great at walking me through exactly what was wrong with my vehicle.If you're looking for a kind, empathetic, and honest mechanic in Barstow - Mr. D's is the place to go.

They were able to take us in and diagnose our car despite only having 1 mechanic and it being Sunday afternoon. They were able to find a fix within 2hrs. Trish and Ron were transparent with potential services and prices.

I was stuck on the 15 with a flat tire and no spare (just fix-a-flat). AAA dropped me at Mr D s because of their reputation and recommendation. I was back on the road in less than half an hour. I was impressed by the courteous, professional and speedy service as well as stock of tires and would definitely use them again if need be.

Had to get towed from outside of Vegas. Mr. D's was the only shop in town that was nice enough to get us right in and checked out! Trish at the front desk was the nicest ever. They checked out the truck as soon as it was off the tow-truck. Less than an hour later they found and fixed the problem & had us heading home safe and sound. MR. D's is as legit as it gets in Barstow. They'll take care of you.

Give them your business, you and your car will be better for it! I was stranded in Barstow on a cross-country drive (along with my old dog). Trish went above and beyond to make sure my car got throughly checked out. Fortunately it was an easy fix, and reasonably priced! She even let Milo the Dog come inside and hang out while they worked on my 4Runner. Run don't walk to Mr. D's!

Great People, Great Service and Great Prices!!! We're from out of State and made us feel very welcomed, got us in quickly for oil change and tire rotation...We will definitely come back when we're in the Barstow area!!!

Wow where do I start. I was stuck in Barstow CA didn't know what I was gonna do went to this tire mechanic shop and these guys and the secretary were the best. Professional friendly and fixed my valve in my truck and got me on the road. I can't day thank u enough and I will definitely me bringing my business back as well as referring anyone who asks me where to take there car. The best

While traveling across country in Aug 2021in a pickup pulling travel trailer with my daughter and 2 young grandkids, had flat truck tire and cut in second tire. Mr D's not only helped us but made the entire experience so much better! Customer service was excellent! Highly recommended them! Thank you, Mr D's

I came here for repairs on my air compressor, power steering pump, and my driver window. The total price was very reasonable, the staff is professional but could be a little more customer friendly. I have had to come back three times now within less than a week that I had the repairs done, but every time i have called they have welcomed me back and upon arrival immediately they have put my car right back on the racks. I recommend, but with caution and if you know nothing about cars bring someone with you and make sure you have all details as to the work they will be doing and what the costs will be. Hopefully after today the repairs I am paying for will be done and legit. Dominick is pretty awesome and if low on cash he is good to talk to about financing options.
