We ve consistently been impressed by the outstanding service and expertise of Midas when it comes to fixing both mine and my husband s vehicles. Whether it s routine maintenance or more intricate repairs, they always provide top-notch service. The staff is friendly, honest, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our vehicles are in top condition. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable auto care. Just be aware they tend to be busy, so it s best to drop off your car and go. Being stationed at Fort Irwin, we re grateful to have them as the best option nearby.

Had to our car towed to Midas after breaking down on the way to Utah. The office staff was professional and responsive to work with. They got the car in and worked on it right away. I had some questions after they texted me the engine diagnostic report. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful with the questions I had. They are a full service center and very experienced and customer focused.

I had a good experience here. I walked in for a full synthetic oil change on my truck. They were very busy but were attentive to me right away. My vehicle was done in less than 2 hours. I always check the levels and make sure they put good oil in and they sure did! Good price with no coupon for almost 8 quarts full synthetic in my truck. I asked to see my filter to make sure they pulled it (like a Karen would) and they did. Again, the oil they used was very high quality, I actually may switch to the oil they used. I usually use Mobile 1 but they had really good stuff. Would definitely return. They also checked my brakes and fluids, and made some good recommendations. Very good service, the lady up front very nice, and good price for service will return!

My family and I were traveling into California when my car decided to give me troubles. The team at Midas Barstow got me in last minute and did everything to help me out. Even though they could not fix the issue they were able to diagnose the problem and helped me to get on my way to the Volkswagen dealership. My family and I are forever grateful to this team of professionals. They even called me the next day to check that I made It safely to my next destination. Thank you

Grateful for these guys helping us get home. Our car broke down in the middle of our 9 hour drive and these guys made sure to give us the best chance of making it home. they did everything they could to find the part for our car. very satisfied with our experience

Had a blow out on our rental car and Midas took care of it and got us back in our way to UT in no time. Amber at the front desk was so welcoming and warm to us and to everyone we saw enter the lobby. Really! She treated everyone like family and there was clearly a supportive community within this little auto shop! So grateful for Amber s help during this ordeal.

Great service! The women working the counter were very nice and quickly got me a quote for the work before getting started. Had my tires balanced, an alignment, and rear brakes replaced. It did take longer than expected dur to the parts supplier being behind on deliveries, not Midas's fault. As soon as he could the mechanic got everything back together. No more shaking on the road!

Second time I visit today and I am impressed by how great this place is. Amber at the front has helped me out both times and her customer service is amazing. She is great at explaining everything in detail as well as making sure you re satisfied with the service that was provided. I have taken my cars to a variety of places in Barstow as well as Victorville and Hesperia, but never have had a great experience until now. The crew here is great and I can tell takes there time on each vehicle to make sure the job is done correctly but getting you out at a timely manner. Definitely recommend!

I have been coming here for the last couple of years. Always a good experience. They try to fix your car as soon as possible. They have an after hours drop box and the front staff are always on top of it. Plus car get fixed right!

Excellent costumer service. Crew is professional and did all my repairs perfectly. I had I a lot of things to get fixed and did not have to take it back in for any mistakes. Prices are a little high in my opinion but definitely recommend.

The people are nice, the problem is they tried to scam me. After a diagnostics on my power steerisng, they said I needed a new electric power steering assist motor wanted to charge me around $1400.00 in total to fix it. But I got a second opinion and took it to another mechanic and found out I just needed a sensor. The sensor cost $157.00, plus the labor $357.00 = $514.00 it saved me $886.00. Beware if they say you need a motor it might just be a sensor.

My A/C went out on my car and Midas was the only shop that would and had a person to do it. They took care of it even before they closed. They re also willing to check on how the repairs turned out. After over a year of ownership of our new Ford with no issues whatsoever. We took it to Barstow Midas for a front brake job. Over the next 6 months it returns to Barstow Midas for $1,000 repairs that turn out to be things like loose clamps and loose bolts. Some of these bolts are placed in vertically they are fine thread and they are torqued to over 25 ft lbs when they are properly installed. They do not just randomly come loose. Bolts in general and clamps dont just come loose for no reason. At least in 30 years of working on vehicles of all sorts, 2 wheel, 3 wheel, 4 wheel, air, tracked, etc ive never had hardware just come losse. Especially bolts that are held in by gravity and vertically placed have a hard time working their way out altogether, and when they're 2 and a quarter inches long as well as fine thread. Another odd bolt to come out was a 5/8 inch thick diameter differential mounting bolt, thats torqued to over 100 Ft Lbs. The bolts that came loose on our alternator and are differential or not something that ever just randomly come loose. This is not caused by vibration or anything else. Our vehicles treated incredibly nicely and are very lightly used. And aggressively maintained. Nothing we do to the vehicle that has ever caused hardware to come loose or this car or our other 4 we owned in the past. Another thing I noticed is that when bolts are tightened they leave a silvery mark on the metal where they scrub as they are tightened up. The bolt holes in the case of our alternator bracet where the bolts seem to just fall out, have not been there for many months not years but a few months because there is no silver ring around the bolt hole on the bracket and the bolt hole itself has some dirt in it but not a lot and obviously not years or extended periods of time of use. Besides if these bolts were to come loose a year or more ago the failure would have happened well before Barstow Midas ever saw the vehicle in the first place. And the only ones that have been in care of our vehicle for the past 6 months husband Barstow midas. Barstow Midas keeps giving our vehicle a good to very good condition in our diagnostics. I am a retired Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection Mechanic, meaning I am certified and trained to inspect police cars, ambulances, school buses, and civilian vehicles for road use in the state of Pennsylvania and other states across the northeast, this is a federally recognized certification by the NTSB. I am an ASE certified Master Mechanic as well. I also have a very large amount of training in vehicle forensics too. I'm not f****** retarded. Or at least are very negligent at least. I'm Consulting the family attorney and I'm going to see if we have a civil suit I'd like them to provide their credentials in front of a judge and size up against my credentials. I was in the Formula One industry as an engineer, engine builder, machinest, car builder, and fabricator for over 20 years as well. I'm not going to let them walk all over people. I've read the reviews these guys are obviously criminally negligent at the very least.

My family and I got stuck in Barstow due to my vehicle s alternator not working this past Friday. So, it was towed to Midas nearby. I was super anxious because we needed to leave for home on Sunday. I called Midas on Saturday morning and alternately spoke to Karina and Amber who answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I m super thankful that my mini van was worked on with urgency and care that same day. It s been working properly. I can drive it with a peace of mind, especially taking my kids to their first day of school tomorrow. I truly appreciate all their efforts and to those who fixed it what a fantastic team! Also, Amber reached out to me a couple times thereafter to check in to see how my vehicle is doing. Superb customer service!
