Finally found an HONEST & RELIABLE mechanic. Been in Barstow all my life & everyone seems to just want the money & not actually help or just add things that don't need replacing. Miguel & His Wife Marie were/are amazing people. Went in there because my car was smoking & they charge less than half of what these other mechanics charge just to diagnose. Ended up being a leaking valve cover. Miguel cleaned it and everything & found out it was actually melting & may need to be replaced soon if not now, but knowing I had kids & traveled a lot he wanted to see if i just wanted to replace instead of sealing it with no pressure on doing so I confirmed, he ordered the part soon as it came in (next day) it took 45min to replace & it was at a good price. They especially his wife keeps in contact with everything thats going on while they have the car too doesn't leave you in the blind wondering. Appreciate your guys business. Hopefully I wont need them too soon only for oil changes though. lol

The staff is super friendly and honest. Their work is top notch and the best pricing in town.M&M Auto Repair will be my permanent mechanic shop for now on.Thank you guys.

Very professional environment, very friendly and they make sure to get the job done. Called in on 12/23 to get a quote for a Car Diagnostics Test and to get my Coils Plugs changed out. They quoted me $50 which is the best price I've seen in the HD, plus put the $50 towards the what needed to be fixed. Also ran a second diagnostics once they're finished to make sure everything is good to go. I'll definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Nice and honest people ! The new owners are legit! Charged me $50 for a diagnostic whereas other shops in this town quoted me way more. Only to find out my car just needed oil. They saved me so much time and money .

I came in for an oil change, and they took good care of me! Very polite, humble and respectful people. They will not charge you for something you don't need. They are honest mechanics.. And I thank God for them in Jesus name amen

Fast service! I was told by Midas that I needed a new power assist motor, charging me $1500.00 but I wanted 2nd opinion. Mechanic at M & M's showed us with his Diagnostic machine, that it was, a sensor. Saving us hundreds of dollars! Thank you!!

BEST & GENUINE CAR repair shop !On a cold thanksgiving night our car fuel injector broke down on the way back home from Joshua tree in the middle of the desert by God s grace managed to find this only car repair shop which was opened during the holiday season n Miguel was so sincere to help us out as we could not find the parts n need to take it to the Volkswagen dealer but he figured out some best genuine options to get it going until we reach SFO which no other car mechanic would share or may not even have the knowledge of using simpler techniques to make a car working but Miguel was amazing n made our car work using the All in one cleaner liquid this helped us reach home safely until the volkswagen service station opened up. They are not money minded but truly service oriented.Miguel is an Amazing kind hearted person.Hats off to ur service n God bless .

These people are terrible. I went for an engine swap that was supposed to take a week and took two and half months. Not only did it take way than an engine swap is supposed to take but they put a bad engine in my car. They gave it back without test driving it themselves and when I go to take it back and let them know this engine is unacceptable they shut the shop down then the guy running it now tells me his dad disappeared and has no idea where he went and there's nothing that can be done for me. Clearly they were in on some sort of scam and find out im the only person they ripped off. They changed the name of the shop but its the same people running. I have receipts and recording of which i was told a mountain of lies. ill be post in a short YouTube video so people know what kind of people these are have the conversation and am going to post a link to it in this review. I paid $3000 for bad engine and scammy service don't do the same

On the Saturday before Christmas, while on our way to Joshua Tree, our truck that was towing our trailer broke down. The only shop we could find was M&M Auto Repair. As we limped into their parking area, Miguel happened to be there, although they were closed, and he ran a diagnostic discovering our turbos were the problem. Even though he couldn t work on the truck, Maria and he found a shop that could do the repairs, but after Christmas. They generously allowed us to pull our trailer into the parking area behind their shop to stay the night and stored our truck until the 26th when we could have it towed to the repair shop. This service and assistance was above and beyond. Although they didn t do the repair work, the diagnostic was accurate and their kindness was as something we will never forget.

I went in today and I enjoyed my time there, very kind and friendly people, not to mention they were pretty fast with my car which was a plus for me and I just got a quote for a tune up and I m happy with the prices they gave me truly amazing experience

Miguel was great I came into the shop with my brakes in terrible condition and he made sure everything got fixed before I left the shop. He even kept me updated throughout the process and showed me all the parts he had to replace

So I was quoted a near ridiculous quote for some repairs on my car. But I took it here and they were completely honest and it turns out I didn't need so many parts. Saved me a ton of money. They earned future my business.
