So many thanks for getting me back on the road, BY PHONE! I had called a dealer and a friend and a shop, and it wasn't until Certified answered that I got my answer. I was looking at an all-day ordeal to get a tow from the desert oasis rest area due to my car arming its alarm and not willing to recognize my authority. Their knowledge saved the day, and I was able to get back on the road. Thank you thank you.

Excellent work and gracious people. I was stuck in the Mojave Desert needing a new alternator. These folks got me back on the road and the cost was so reasonable. Very friendly and so nice.

My boyfriend, mom, and 2 aunt's were on our way to Vegas from OC and the AC was blowing out warm air in 104 degree weather we were super uncomfortable to say the least, and didn't want to drive the rest of Vegas & back without it. We called AutoZone& they referred us to "Johnny" at Certified. As soon as we got there, John greeted us. I told him about our situation & even though he was already busy he agreed to help us. It took about 45 min to run a diagnostic& check for leaks. Luckily, there were no leaks and he refilled the coolant. He let us sit inside so we could cool down while he worked on the car. He was very professional, nice, and accommodating. A total life saver! Saved our trip to Vegas before it started. Thank you John!Service: Air conditioning

These guys are great, super honest, and thorough! My Durango was in a crank, no start condition. I suspected that the engine was not getting fuel, even though I could hear the fuel pump prime, however, I had no plans of messing with anything in the fuel system! They let me drop the truck off on Sunday and got to work on it first thing Monday. Instead of jumping to the conclusion that the fuel pump needed to be changed, they did a series of electrical tests to make sure they understood the true nature of the problem. It turns out that the fuel pump itself was fine, but there was a problem with the electrical harness that was part of the fuel pump assembly. Given the amount of time they put into troubleshooting the problem, their fees very affordable. Also, there were 3 things that they noticed when working on the truck that they pointed out. 2 of them I was aware of and 1 I had never seen before. They offered to fix the third problem for free if it reoccurred, which it hasn't. I need to change my fuel pump, a job that I could probably pull off, but I will definitely be taking the truck back to them for this job, or any other job/car I have in the future. It's an easy choice to make when you trust the mechanic. Thanks guys!

Been going to Certified Auto Repair for a few years. John is honestly one of the most honest mechanics I've ever came across. And he gets the job done!! John and his team were fantastic and fair. My daughter's car broke down 12 miles out of town, 350 miles from home and at night. We chose to have it towed to Certified Auto Repair based on these reviews and left it overnight. We arrived before opening to find John already hard at work. He took us right in to diagnose the problem and got started on the job as quickly as possible. During the test drive we spoke about many things, not just the car. John takes pride in his work and business. He made the unfortunate experience the best it could be.

Had my car towed in from Baker to Barstow to Certified Auto. The owner went above and beyond to repair my car and made sure I was able to get back home safely. Extremely pleased with the customer service. Price was more than fair. It's too bad that all mechanics aren't as honest as Johnny is. Would highly recommend!

I really dislike this place. I should have known better than to use Priceline with the facility hidden till paid for. There is man who works evenings who 'seems' nice but is intolerable. When getting the room, I reserved it in my bf's name so he would have no problem getting in, in case he arrived first, as he was traveling from quite a ways away. I ensured their were 2 guests noted to be staying. I arrived first, with ID and credit card used to purchase the room. I was not allowed in to take a restful bath, ad planned. I had to sit outside for 2 hours until he arrived.(There are purposefully no seats in the lobby.I've been through difficult situations with him before, 2 years ago when I first moved to this area. Every person I've seen him deal with has had difficulty with him.The gentleman behind me tried to assist me, as I had done for others when I moved here 2 yrs ago.He is loathsome.We got to our room and after awhile my bf called down for assistance getting the pop up screen that comes on after a minute(if you clear it from the tv) offering Roku, Netflix, etc. He got no results so I asked to speak to the not friendly clerk. He reiterated several times that he had nothing to do with the tv and tech/maintenance was gone. He was less than helpful. -5 in the helpfulness department. I, also, was quite miffed that there was NO MICROWAVE.I would have called to discuss this with the powers that be, but why bother when that powered was Mr. Less-than-helpful.The price may be $10 cheaper, bit, as always I wished I stayed elsewhere.This was the evening of 3 August 21'.The room was clean. That's about all I can say. 1#DisabledNavyVeteranannuallydissatisfied by this establishment.

I have been going to Certified many years and always walk away happy with the service and the quality of their work. They are professional and they are personable. Other mechanics recommend and take their vehicles to Johnny's shop. If you want great honest auto repair, go to Certified.

Car broke down on the way to vegas. Obviously my luck began early because I found Johnny. Certified Auto Repair was able to fix my car quickly and reasonably priced. The owner went way out of his way to take care of me (finding a difficult part). I wish my mechanic back home was more like him and his shop. Thanks A MILLION!!!!!!

My car was having timing issues so i took it to a place I trusted and they said they really couldn't find anything wrong. A bout a week later the problems had gotten a lot worse. My service engine soon light was flashing at me which means something is seriously wrong. I dropped of the car expecting to have to pay several hundred dollars to get it back in working order. They confirmed I had two cylinders misfiring and said they would give me an estimate in a couple of hours. They found that some of my spark plugs wires and plugs had not been put back together properly. The fix was under a 100 dollars. Some might think that is expensive for like 30 mins of actual work and no parts but they could have told me i need a whole new spark plug cable assembly or new fuel injectors and charged me a lot more. But they were honest with me and you can't put a price on that!

Had them check my car not to long ago and they said nothing was wrong. Told me there computer wasn't showing anything. I took it somewhere else and there computer poped up it had two different things that need to be fixed. Safe to say they don't know what there doing. Oh also someone else told me that they swapped out one of there new parts for a older one. with that said i wouldn't take my car back to them again.

These folks were so kind. We were from out of state and needed help with our vehicle. They stayed open late and got us back on the road. Reasonably priced with a warrantee even out of state. A big thanks to them.
