To start off, I arrived before the place opened and i met Armin, he actually opened up shop early for me and got right to work! Great guy the visit was pleasant and i was in and out in about 10 -15 min very quick! I read the reviews before hand and i got to say they did not disappoint! Armin takes his job seriously and is very helpful! I recommend anyone in the area or close by to stop at A1 Express Smog Check, You're in good hands with Armin! In A Nutshell:-A1 Express Smog Check is the best place to get a quick, reliable & professional California DMV smog check at a reasonable value.-The owner, Amin is very kind & honest.-He even did a quick test on the car computer chip to ensure there were no underlying problems, the results came out all green.-This shop can get busy very quickly.-My smog test took about 15 minutes.-They accept cash or credit card.-The results are automatically sent via internet to the California DMV.Overall, if you are looking a great smog check at affordable prices that is close to Las Vegas, this is the place to go!! I came later in the day almost closing time and Jesus i believe his name was took me anyways with a smile on his face might i add! Made sure i got everything i needed even when his computer went down and I m sure he wanted to go home he put my family first and i respect people like that! Great job my friend. I was able to sell my vehicle to get a new one and I ll be back with this one here soon they are an amazing customer service I ll never go anywhere else again!

Went on Monday afternoon about 3:45. (They close at 5:00.) They were not busy so I was taken quickly. Served by Jesus, who is bilingual, professional, and pleasant. I was out the door in less than 30". Price for a 2006 6 cylinder vehicle was $58.00 including the smog certificate plus $ .99 because I used a credit card. This shop, which does only smog, was recommended by my daughter, who lives in Barstow and has used A1 for years for her cars and those of her kids. I would agree with her recommendation.Service: Smog certification

I LOVED this experience! The employees are fantastic friendly, with upbeat sunshine welcome! I forgot once I was greeted I was actually there to get my smog! One particular gentleman Jesus was excellent, he is efficient with your time with the most positive beautiful nature towards all the customers he interacted with. This wasn't my first time there , but every time I've had to smog one of my cars it was in and out. The guy that works there,is too cool and very nice.

I've been here a few times. The owner seems a little grumpy sometimes but I don't think he really is. He's fast to get you in and out..I do wish they had a better seating area. But I guess he really doesn't need one... Wait time is only a few minutes most times I was there..

Awesome experience here! Jesus, got me in and out very quickly in spite of being swamped with customers. He was literally running from car to car to give people great service! I highly recommend this outstanding young man and this business!

I called before stopping in and the owner was very friendly and helpful on the phone. Upon arrival, the smog test was super fast and again the employees were both very friendly! I d definitely recommend this place. 2023Still here, and still coming every 2 years. Best smog in Barstow. 60 bucks with card. Thanks again A1.Amin (sorry if I mispelled) was very nice. Quick star test I needed. Awesome service 53 bucks for smog and cert on passenger car. Great service. Thanks again!!! If I am still here in two years I'll be back. A1 Express Smog was spectacular. Same day appointment offered but needed early morning & they accommodated my schedule. Daniel was professionally ready, quick, efficient, positive attitude & since of humor. I will be returning for our families next DMV smogs. Overall excellent experience far beyond pleased. We have had our vehicles serviced here for many years. Owner is very friendly, helpful and honest. Last time I had my vehicle smoged, I forgot we had disconnected the battery, which reset all codes. He advised me to drive around so codes can reset. All went well when I returned. Charges only when vehicle passes. Thank you.

Amin was super polite and had amazing customer service. The test went quick and I had no issues at all. We were greeted at the car and even thought the shop is a little further down Main Street, it is well worth the drive.
