They diagnosed my vehicle with a $3k+ repair, I took it to another mechanic and it was a $30 fuel filter (which conveniently wasn t mentioned on their diagnostic). Not sure if I need to say more. Get a second or third opinion before you let these people work on your vehicle. Thankfully, I saved myself thousands.

Went to them for an alignment, which was supposed to be $95. Waited three hours for my car just to be told they couldn t do it because the tie rods needed to be replaced (which would ve taken less than 20 minutes to figure out). They told me it would cost $1100!!! Wouldn t even show me a detailed description of why it would cost that much. I immediately declined and they charged me $30 just for putting it up on the rack. Went online and bought a full kit for $100 and did it myself in 2 hours. Got it alignment after for $100 at West Coast Auto center and tires, and I watched them do it in under an hour. Not the two hours this place told me, which ended up being three when they didn t even work on it and of course charged me for that. This place LIVES on ripping people off, do not bring your car here if you don t know much about cars.

Called for a smog check. Very friendly and quick. I showed up 2 mins after I called and 20 mins later I was heading back to work. Thanks guys

I have been a loyal costumer for over 5+ years for regular service of my vehicle and I can honestly say I have not been disappointed of them, in the care of my car. The service advisor is always friendly and courteous, as well as the owner, establishing a good customer relationship. I find that their services are affordable, and I would highly recommend Mastertech Automotive.

Mike at Master tech saved the day. Had a weird noise coming from our jeep, never a good feeling. Masterech was able to diagnose the issue quickly and provide a low cost solution and fix within hours. 45 minutes late for an appointment. I arrived 10 early, which means I waited for 55 minutes before they pulled the car in. Also, there is not even one place to sit. I brought my chair and sat in front of the laundromat, but it started to sprinkle. Their work seems to be good, and the man behind the desk is very nice. But I really would have appreciated knowing how late they were going to be.

I have used this shop 2 times an thought they were good! Well 3rd time was a charm !!!Dropped my truck off on Monday to have California legal exhaust put on they had my truck for three days and never installed the exhaust on the third day they told me we need the sticker that goes in the engine compartment before we can install the exhaust so I would do without my truck for three days and they didn t do anything took it to another shop they called the manufacture of the headers damn job done would not recommend this company

This is a great place for friendly and helpful automotive service. They are upfront and communicate well with you about repairs. They understand how to fix all types of vehicles and are great with our older cars.

Great, quick service. Took care of my belt squeak on one vehicle and did the alignment on my Jeep Gladiator the two other shops failed to do. One didn't want to touch it because it was lifted.

Absolutely great place! We we're traveling, and they got us up and running again in short amount of time for somewhat involved fix on older model truck. Friendly oowners and knowledgeable staff. Thanks AAA for recommending Mastertech in Arroyo Grande!

Very friendly on the phone. However, I was told they do not require their technicians to wear masks and gloves to protect the customer against covid-19. If this is important to you, then be sure you call ahead and ask places if they are willing to take proper precautions.

I know there always working when I can t focus on doing my schoolwork. Wouldn t recommend doing schoolwork here because phones are always ringing, a lot of talking, and I can always hear them repairing vehicles. Great place to get a car fixed and the guy at the front is very nice.

Wow I love these reviews. They charged 275 dollars for blown radiator hose. 100 dollars to diagnose a blown radiator hose.
