I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the service I received from VJ s Auto Service. From start to finish, they exemplified professionalism and dedication to resolving my car issues.Despite having to diagnose my car twice due to the reoccurring check engine light, they did not hesitate to continue their efforts to find the root issue. Michael, the technician assigned to my vehicle, maintained clear communication and ensured that I was kept informed every step of the way.What truly impressed me was that despite the extra diagnostic work required, they did not charge me for the additional labor. My car now runs beautifully, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you!

Excellent Professional Service. Michael is always very helpful and provide good professional advices on maintenance requirement of the vehicle. Always willing to take on additional tasks not relating to the mechanics services as a favors w/o hessistant. I ve gone to VJ s many times through the years with different cars I ve had. The car services have always been thorough and done correctly. Staff has consistently been friendly and helpful. They do whatever it takes to get the car s problems solved. Early in 2020 I had my catalytic converter stolen, at the height of COVID! Converters were scarce at the time, but the staff was able to find one for my specific car at Pasadena Honda. While at VJ s they inspected the car, and found a problem with the transmission fluid. The problems were both taken care of at VJ s at a price I felt was reasonable. I trust VJ and would recommend his shop. I also appreciate the positive attitudes of the staff in going the extra mile to help get the car into the shop whenever unforeseen problems occur.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Battery inspection/service

Good service, very helpful, knowledgeable and reasonably fast.We bought our RV from VJ's and will keep getting it serviced by them.I met a lady that has a Pleasure Way like ours and told her about VJ's and the good service we got there. We just had our Jeep upgraded at VJ's so we can tow it behind our RV.Great service.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, Air conditioning

My husband and I are VJ diehards! We won't go anywhere else, and have been using their services for several years. They will diagnose the problem, fix it and you're on your way in a timely manner. They always keep us updated on what's happening with everything about the car(s). Always professional and friendly - not to mention will give you the best pricing for fixing your vehicle. You never have to worry. You can't say that about many dealerships and car repair shops. My motor home has been serviced at VJ's where I feel I get the best service without having to travel a greater distance to have competent repairs or servicing done. Brian & Mike are friendly and knowledgeable and strive to please the customer, Brian has been very helpful regarding my concerns and I will continue to be a customer.

Don t ever go here, they will RIP YOU OFF!! I was quoted $1900 for a catalytic converter replacement here and found out from an HONEST and RESPECTABLE mechanic that VJ had marked up the price substantially ..$1200 more than it costs. I've been taking my Dad's 2003 Buick to VJs Auto Service since we moved to this area almost a year ago. They have given this poor old clunker a new lease on life. They always point out what repairs are essential, which are optional, and what long-term prognosis we can expect. They are courteous, professional, efficient, and trustworthy. I never feel pressured or forced to approve services. They always provide a complete explanation of what needs to be done and why. Their prices are fair and honestly, what price is too high for safety's sake? Michael and Brian seem always to be on duty and could not be nicer. I'm very happy I found VJ's on Yelp and am happy to recommend them to anyone needing excellent auto service.

I was there for pre-sell full vehicle inspection. Staffs was super friendly and kept a great conversation during waiting. The service advisor Michael was very helpful and knowledgeable. Most Clean and professional shop out of all the shop I went to. Highly recommended.

Highly Recommended Auto shop! Exceptional customer service from Michael, Brian and all the mechanics! Will continue to use their services and recommend them to everyone I know! The team is very involved with the community, which is always nice to see, and they even call to check in a few days after to make sure everything is alright!

As a practicing physician I have little time to care for things like my car. VJ's came to my office, picked up the car and serviced it and drove it back to my office before closing. This was a great service to me along with just what I needed for maintenance. All went perfectly and I now know where to get any further service. I definitely would recommend them to anyone in need of quality, helpful and skilled service

Unfortunately, I was on Hwy 210 when my Suspension Air shocks deflated in my RV, being that it was Sunday evening there wasn t any help available, I googled RV repair and VJ s was close by and highly rated. Monday morning Brian is there at 6:am and helps me right away these people are the greatest, Brian the Manager, John the mechanic and even VJ and his Daughter all very helpful. If I lived close to them I w oils take all my vehicles to them!!!

Despite being booked solid, they squeezed my RV in because I was leaving on a trip in a week. First, the manager came to my house to see if repairs could be made here (no charge for the service call). When that wasn't going to work, he got us in right away. Repairs were good and people there are thoroughly competent and ever so helpful! (Already have booked a service appointment for September when I get back from my trip.)

Unfortunately, if you don't know a lot about cars the following story my be all too typical. My initial quote ended up being significantly less than their final charge (over 100%+ less) to fix the only problem my car suffered from when I originally dropped it off. At that point they, by the time I got the bad news, managed to find a total of $5k+ more in issues beyond those I had initially came in for.I told them to just fix the initial problem I brought the car in for, and ate the over doubling of their estimate.I later, sadly, got in touch with a friend who had a trusted family member who was a mechanic. At the moment they are working on pinpointing the heretofore unbeknownst secondary issue, but assured me that without digging into the engine it would be impossible to diagnose the exact problem; the same problem the initial shop comfortably quoted $5k+ to fix with no digging at all. I'm sure the right issue will be addressed now, and at a price that will be far less than this, rip-off shop!I'll write another, undoubtedly more positive review, about the shop my car is currently being fixed at to help guide you to a fair, honest mechanic.

From the owner on, all the individuals who have cared for my cars have been effective and knowledgable in keeping our vehicles in perfect condition. Our twenty-one year old Lexus sedan stills runs as it did the day we purchased; my convertible always was dependable and the care for other vehicles was always done well, cost effective and fair and finished as promised. The personnel that VJ and his team provides are trained on customer care and both my wife and I only wish he would have shops close to where we now live. But the trip there is worthwhile. Car care does not get any better anywhere and we have tried both dealer and private shops. Wish VJ's was open in more places actually.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

We have used VJ's Auto Service to maintain our RV and have been very happy with their care for our vehicle. Not only are they very knowledgeable about RV's and autos, when they do a repair, they do it right the first time. They are very proactive and spot potential problems early before they become an issue. We are very happy with this service and can recommend them highly.

I was recommended to VJ's Auto Service for RV servicing by another RV owner. I was very pleased with the customer service, their thoroughness, promptness and professionalism. The work was completed on time and for a reasonable price. I just went in for the first time. I spoke to Brian who was friendly and helpful. He did not treat me like an idiot for not knowing the in's and outs of an AC system. He educated me and seemed honest and helpful. They work on RVs too which really helps. First impressions good. Clean and orderly office, polite workers. Ill check in later with an update. Brian upsold me a safety package to prep for a long trip. Checking my AC system on an RV.

I have been taking my cars to VJ's Auto Service for several years now and they have never disappointed me in the quality work they do. You couldn't ask for better service. I recently had a personal emergency and requested a rush on a service which was needed. They took care of me like I was a member of their family. Thank you guys, I appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness.

I had a great experience with their service staff. They were very easy to work with and were by far much more communicative to me than the place I had gone before. They let me know what to expect and were nice to answer all of my questions. They made me feel like they actually cared. I was glad to have them work on my car. I plan on going there again if I have any more problems.

Been going to VJ's auto for well over 20 years, beginning when he was a mechanic in a gas station. But over the years his business has become grossly over-priced and the work is substandard. After multiple visits, they finally had to glue my sunroof because they could not get it to stop leaking. They messed up my mother's radio and light system and refuse to repair it. I just got two separate quotes for engine trouble, both well below the "ridiculous" quote that VJ's quoted me. Both other quotes are more than $1200 less than what VJ's is quoting. It is not worth the money as there are other great, honest mechanics out there who are not going to overcharge.

WARNING!! NEVER GO HERE!!This place tried to charge me $1,270.89 for a fuel pump (installed) on an '06 Toyota Tundra. $800+ for the part and $500 for a 2 hour install. When I told them that was too expensive for a fuel pump (which costs $398 retail - and there's no way they are buying it retail), they told me that they would not put the fuel tank back under my truck until Monday afternoon and it's Saturday right now. We showed up 4 hours after we dropped it off and the guy who works there - Michael, told me the diagnostic that I requested would only take about an hour. Upon arriving I asked him one more time to reinstall my fuel tank and return the truck in the same condition it was dropped off hours ago. They refused to put it back together right then, but at they just gave me my keys back and I called a tow truck to get it taken to another shop in Ontario, Ca - Empire Fleet Service. I would definitely recommend going to them instead, as they said they would wait for me to get it towed and that it would cost a much more reasonable $500 (installed).

VJ's Auto Service was a great place to take my RV. They had a challenging time getting my battery replaced under my warranty, but managed it wonderfully ! The cost was very reasonable for some extra work on the RV and I will always bring it back.Thank you!

Cooling system repair left the system leaking, causing us to be stranded when the vehicle overheated. Mechanic then claimed the head gasket needed replacement but a second opinion from another shop showed that is not true the vehicle needed a new radiator.

Called them to see if they could install some high end suspension parts on my 4runner and they said they don't install customer supplied parts. Most other mechanics in the area install customer parts. This does. It make any sense to me because they will get the parts from the same sources.
