Came to warranty a battery under 2 years old. Wouldn t hold a charge. I came in and waited in line and observed his snotty attitude with the other customers. I figure I m already there I ll just put up with it. Get to the counter and tell him what s going on. He wants to test the battery, I say ok, and then he claimed the battery was fine. He wouldn t warranty it. I knew for a fact the battery was no good but I didn t have the time to sit there and argue with him. I go ahead and buy the $220 battery, well 2 days later, what do you know? It s a bad battery! I ve tested the vehicle for parasitic draw. They simply just don t stand by their products. I know that others have had problems with Napa batteries as well. I can t speak for anything else coming from them, but from what I ve gathered their prices are high, customer service is bad, and their batteries are junk.

Customer service is key right. I own a big rig usually i do all my moms preventive maintenance. I was on the phone with my mom while I am out in Texas. While I was on the phone this morning the guy at the counter was so condescending towards all my moms questions. It s customer service my mom shouldn t be made to feel like she is an inconvenience when your job is to answer questions that people have. It s why a lot of woman don t go into automotive shops they would rather let their car break down than to deal with men who are condescending jerk offs. The men at this shop should really use some training in customer service. Napa is CORPORATE and I filed a CORPORATE COMPLAINT.

Always check your part before you leave, this will make it easier when have to exchange for the right part I'd say 8 times outa 10. Just so your cars not in pieces and now you gotta wait 3 days for the correct part to show up. Just saying

This man Gaberiel is a legend! I walk in and in need of a pocket knife thats not to pricey. I let him know, he walks me over to them and says I gotchu! God will cover it. So I pay not even in full and he covers the rest! Gabriel and his buddy are the best!! Definitely going back!

We like to support our local businesses. Love the small town service. NOT HERE!! I had not even left the cashier counter with the product.. as I was considering how overpriced it was.. when I decided to shop it elsewhere. I was told .. no returns completely unacceptable. You lost an Alpine customer.

What a GREAT place to go if you need anything for your vehicles. Employee's are helpful and personal. Prices are right. Don't go to their competitors in Alpine .. they'll only rip you off!! Had that experience. Thank goodness Alpine is fortunate to have NAPA....

Very helpful gentlemen, I made the wrong headlight selection and they got me the right set, also covered the difference!In addition they have helped me with oil change supplies for my truck. Good local spot.

This particular NAPA store is a very good store the people are very friendly they gave me exactly what I needed they help me get the right wiper blades they didn't have it in stock but they were able to order it then they found me a pair of an Alpine and I went and picked it up it was just perfect thank you so much Napa I'll be a lifetime customer forever God bless you all and have a good day

March 2021 I purchased a battery for my John Deere Gator. One month later I was having issues with the Gator consistently starting. Believing it was an issue with the starter I had it serviced by the John Deere Dealer. Following the maintenance check they determined my battery was bad. They serviced the Gator and replaced the battery. I returned to the Alpine Auto Part store in Alpine to return the battery. They confirmed the battery was not holding a charge and told me the date on the battery was from March 2020. I asked for a refund or a store credit but was denied. They told me it was their policy to only replace the battery. Napa sold me a battery that has been on the shelf for 11 months and confirmed it was not holding a charge and the only response they gave me was "You should of had us replace the battery". I left with my dead battery and swallowed my $96.

Great to have an auto parts store in alpine for supply emergencies but they haven t had any actual car parts that I ve needed yet save for one thermostat. The prices on things they do have in stock like fluids, fuses, hoses, and filters are quite high so I ll pop in if it s an emergency but otherwise I ll drive down the hill into town.

The guys at NAPA were super helpful! Had the right windshield wipers at a great price at the customer service was top notch! So nice to have them in Alpine! :)

Do not buy tools here. I bought a fan clutch removal set for $30 attempted to use the wrench. The wrench tool warped under tension and became useless and unable to get a grip on the fan clutch. I was allowed to exchange the tool for the same one but once again it warped. I ended up going to the AutoZone in Santee that had a better fan clutch removal set for $20 that didn't warp and got the job done. I attempted to return the garbage tool to Napa but doesn't have a tool return policy.

I have been there several times, they never have the parts I need in stock! Always very common parts for very common vehicles. Always told they can order and have it within two days. I just go down and pick it up from Any parts store in El cajon . Napa Alpine is just a big waste of time! And they are over priced on everything.

Not very helpful show the guy at counter a starter solenoid and he wasn't willing to even try to look it up ]
