they do good work.... but they enjoy taking advantage of people. $1,000 for labor to replace brake rotors, pads. a job that maybe takes 2-3 hours maybe 4 at the max. $1,000 labor for less than half a days work. if you enjoy feeling extremely ripped off bring your car here .

Everyone is so kind and helpful. I do not know much about maintaining cars and Ronnie is always open to explain things to me. I trust everyone there, especially Ronnie, he is great person.

Received a very detailed report of their findings when I brought my car in. They talked me throuh each issue, what was urgent and gave estimates for each job. Car ready the next day despite multiple parts that needed replacing. Even received a thank you card from the Owners with a $50 gift card towards my next service. Very happy.

Highly personalized service. Exceptionally clean office, lounge and service bay. They took my vehicle in right away. I was back om the road in no time after the place down the way asked me to come back later in the afternoon. I'll be returning to Adam's Autoworx Albany for all my tire needs!!!

Excellent job with my older ( 02) Tahoe fuel pump and fuel filter. Also, both Ronnie and Melissa were patient with me as I brought my 20th century brain into the 21st century in regards to prices .When I had updated myself, I was very satisfied with their service. Had my car back in just a few days. Thanks Autoworx.

Came to Adams Autoworx after my 2014 Hyundai Elantra was stolen & subsequently recovered. Damage included broken rear window & non-functional steering column and ignition. Ronnie was VERY communicative throughout the process and very understanding of the difficulties with reaching my insurance adjuster. He also informed me that my battery was a little low on charge, so I wouldn t be caught with a dead battery later on. I hope to never return, but if I need to, I will definitely come back to Ronnie and his team for their expertise and kindness!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto glass repair

I paid $750 to have my thermostat replaced. That's ridiculous. I was contacted by the Owner , he asked to remove this posting. In his defense my did not cost $750. It was actually $747.59.For a thermostat. Still ridiculous.

As a single mother supporting myself and my child auto repairs can be a very weary issue to address. I am more than grateful for the service I received here. Not only were they kind and great with communicating updates on my car, Ronnie was accommodating in all ways possible. I will absolutely be back !

I seldom leave reviews and when I do, they are generally very positive. However definitely got very bad vibes from this mechanic today. I've worked with Adams Autoworx before. They gave us a very competitive price for replacing the master cylinder on the clutch of our 2013 Jetta Sportswagon TDI, and I thought they did good work at a great price.Based on that experience I've taken the car back to them for regular oil changes (been 4-ish times now). The last time I took it by, the tires needed to be rotated and they extended a price of $60 (at a tire shop they will generally do this for free) and $30 for changing the air filter (literally the removal of four easily accessible screws). Both prices are high so I took it to a tire shop that did it for free and did the air filter myself which took a screw driver and about 4min.I brought the car in today for an apt I made about a week ago, for an oil change. I asked how long they needed and was told that they would need 2.5hours. They extended a price of $150, which they said includes an "inspection". The check engine light is on and I figured they would check that during the "inspection" and let me know something... anything. When I picked up the car they told me that the check engine light was on and that to look into the problem it would cost another $180-ish. I asked what they had "inspected" and they told me they looked at the dash lights. They said if I had mentioned the check engine light or left the car for longer, they would have had time to look into it. For reference, you can get an oil change on that car for $120 in about 15 min at a drive up Jiffy Lube, but I actually value having a skilled mechanic take a little extra time and check for safety issues.I called another mechanic that was on my route home. I brought it by, they hooked it up to a computer, gave me the error code (so I could look into it) and told me what they new about it, for free. in about 3 minutes. For reference, it was a common malfunction that those cars have with the intake manifold. nothing that needed immediate attention, but will result in decreased performance.I know it's not easy to make a living out there and people are almost always trying to get more labor for less money, at the expense of service providers. I have worked in production shops and I am happy to pay a fair price. The past few times I took my car to Adams for maintenance work, I received mediocre to poor service at very high rates, with many justifications.They offered a competitive price for a big project, but have proved to be very expensive for everyday needs and maintenance related issues. I will not be returning.**Also note: they solicited a review via email, and I tried to post this, but they blocked it with an error warning for spam. lol

I m usually very nervous to get any work done on my car because I ve been charged for things I didn t need before due to my lack of knowledge on cars. Ronnie was very helpful and patient explaining exactly what needed repairs after the inspection, what those parts do and what the most urgent issues were. I had a long road trip across several states after I took my car to Adam s Autoworx and I safely made it to my destination without any problems. Ronnie and his team are amazing, I highly recommend them. 5 stars!

Ronnie is fantastic - knowledgeable, thorough, and quick. We own a Ford hybrid and it s hard to find mechanics who will work on an American made electric vehicle. We had a very tight turnaround time to get our car fixed and he did everything in one day. I wish that I had the option of not giving any stars to this obnoxious business. I would not recommend going here with your car. They do not stand behind their work. They are happy to take your money, but do not provide good service. The owner is rude and does not listen.

Ronnie is very professional with a heart of gold. He listened attentively to the customer's dilemma and took care of the situation immediately. He had compassion and worked with your circumstances and gave wise advice.His first concern is the safety of the driver and guaranteed satisfaction. He only used superb products that would enhance and provide solid foundation of his work. I would highly recommend him.

Adams Autoworx was great and Ronnie was very helpful! I brought my car in because my check engine light came on, but my car seemed to be running fine. I scanned the error code myself before taking it in, and it was a potential severe issue. Ronnie and the mechanics checked the engine thoroughly, but they couldn t find a source of the issue, so they took it for a test drive to read the live data. Everything came back normal and functioning properly, so they cleared the code and my check engine light has stayed off. I appreciate that they kept everything above board, didn t try to sell me something I didn t need, and gave me the peace of mind that my car is safe to drive!

Helpful and transparent service at Adams Autoworx definitely recommend coming here! This was my second time here the first time was for a broken light that they fixed immediately and for no charge. This time, I had a seatbelt fixed and oil changed. They charge very fair and transparent prices and also do a full diagnostic but don t pressure you to do any extra work! Highly recommend!

I greatly appreciate Adams Autoworx & find them to be trustworthy. I have an older vehicle I m trying to keep on the road until I can afford to replace it. Ronnie is great about helping me make decisions on what to repair, what to defer, & what to plan on doing when funds are available. This is a class act. Service was excellent, prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, reasonably priced.They even took it thro a car wash and vacuumed the interior. It has tree droppings and I had asked if they could get them off. Needs more than they had time for, but still went out of their way to get it clean. Really appreciated the extra vacuuming .Am so happy I found this service. I highly recommend it! Service: General repairs & maintenance

Ronnie is an amazing guy and extremely helpful! He was informative about the type of work needed, completed all work by the scheduled time, and was understanding when I changed my pick up time few times. I wasn't gonna leave a review, but they texted me and asked me to. I got an oil change there and they suggested I change the air filter in the engine. I told him it didn't seem that dirty from the picture and the guy simply said that's what my mechanic suggested.Later, I took the air filter out myself and showed it to somebody who's seen a lot of dirty air filters, a guy at the auto parts store, and he didn't think it was dirty enough to be changed.Service: Auto maintenance

Today I came to this store for the first time, Ronnie is very professional and patient, he gave me a lot of advice on tire replacement. Helped me change tires and wheel alignment in a very short time. He gave me a very reasonable price and provided very attentive service. I highly recommend Adams Autoworx Professional Auto Service. They made my emergency situation affordable and my car safer. After my brakes failed on the road, I was able to pump-my-anchors-while-slow-rolling into Adams, shaken. Ronnie Lewis, service advisor, was WONDERFUL! Mr. Lewis listened empathetically and worked with me on price and payment, while Michael Withers, technician, and his team worked on replacing discs, pads, rotors, steering rods, fluids and wipers. I was able to drive away in a what felt like a new car THE NEXT DAY! Mr. Lewis and team made an expensive emergency situation palatable and my car is safer because of their good work.
