The cabins are well kept, falling asleep to the sounds of frogs was awesome, close enough to Yosemite that we spent the day there. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was very comfy and spacious for just the 2 of us. It was nice not having a TV to distract from quality time. I love that they allow dogs! And the room comes stocked with pour over coffee which I had never made before so that was also a cool experience. Thank you Sierra Meadows, we'll definitely see ya next time!

I just returned home from a long weekend at Sierra Meadows, what a delight. It is such a serene setting -loved waking up to the birds each day. Our cabin was super cozy and perfectly appointed with all the little details considered. The bed was great, very comfortable, we actually got some much needed rest. Great coffee and tea set up and they provide you a fun selection of games and books. The crew there was wonderful, kind and helpful. We walked and biked the land, did some casual birdwatching and watched the sunset. Glad to have discovered this great spot -can t wait to return.

What a gem! Peaceful backwoods resort with multiple opens of lodging. 1 hour drive to Yosemite Valley/Tunnel View area. We stayed in 2 bed cabin and it had everything, including Bluetooth speaker and board game. Camp store was decently priced. Meadows great for walking dog off leash. We woke to a deer by the cabin! The pool is quite a walk. Hosts were super communicative. Decently priced. Kid friendly and free bike rentals and games!

Impressed with Sierra Meadows! The cabins are comfortable and super clean. Had every amenity we needed. Great communication and they were quick to answer any questions even via text. Check in instructions were to the point and they were just easy to reach to. It s an easy 8-10 minutes drive from Oakhurst. We stayed to visit Yosemite and can honestly say it tops any of the other places I considered to stay. Recommended, you will love your stay.

Sierra Meadows is a cute secluded tiny home resort. I stayed in their microcabins on two seperate days on the front and tail end of a road trip. I loved the microcabin. The price was great, there were a couple of cute touches in the cabin (like coffee/tea, a fridge, robes, and bathroom baskets). It felt safe and cozy as a solo traveler. I could see it getting cramped if you stayed too long inside with another person. There was no TV but there was great wifi. For dog owners/runners/hikers:In the morning I did a couple of miles, loopin the old golf course while searching for the sculptures with my dog. I only found 3 sculptures but they were pretty cool. It was great to get my dog offleash between long drives. One of the walks I borrowed one of their bikes and let her chase after me. It was a shoulder season so there was no one on the trail. I loved this area and I gained some speed on the trail. Make sure the breaks work before you get going as they're community bikes.I also took a walk at night and there was a decent night sky.The pool area looked like it would be appreciated during the summer season. And the proximity to both the nearest town and Yosemite was amazing.Plus they had a small store stocked with some just in case items including local beer/wine and snacks. The shared one-gender bathrooms had a lock with a code. It was close to the cabins but in the cold night I did spend some time wishing I had rented a tiny home with bathroom instead. Was it worth the extra money for a bathroom and kitchen? Maybe.I could easily picture this as a one night layover, a multi-night family or friends vacation, or even a wedding venue.I will be visiting again.Rooms: Very clean and cute. Definitely small but it worked for my dog and I. Bring a fog bed for your dog. They aren't allowed on the bed.Nearby activities: Yosemite is nearby for grand adventures. The little town has restaurants, stores, and gas. The old golf course on site is now an area for walking and biking with hammocks spread along the trees on the path, a tiny river, and a seasonal pool.Safety: Felt safe as a solo traveler.Walkability: There is 4+ miles in the old golf course connecting to local neighborhoods and houses. If you want to go anywhere you need a car.Food & drinks: Coffee and tea were stocked in the room. There was also a mini fridge. If you forgot food there's a camp store. But there is a porch area for a camp stove.Noteworthy details: I loved that they tried to personalize your visit and staff were very friendly.

Booked a microcabin through Airbnb after reading many rave reviews and we were not disappointed. Sierra Meadows is definitely for unashamed glampers, of which I am one. Be aware that the campsite is still about 50 miles (about 1.5 hrs) to the actual Yosemite Valley, so plan accordingly if you're here to hike the trails. The road to the campsite is dark and very windy, so use caution if you arrive at night. The microcabins are perfect for 1-2 people, complete with a comfy bed, climate control (AC, baseboard heater, and fan), mini-fridge, electric kettle, drip coffee kit, and electrical outlets. Each microcabin has its own porch with two seats, which were perfect for stargazing and drinking hot cocoa (not included). Wi-Fi is variable depending on where you are in the campsite but definitely accessible if you need to download maps or check your Insta. There are a few Tesla chargers throughout the campsite, and several more universal EV chargers located a 5 min walk away at their lodge (which we used and can confirm their functionality). Bathrooms are dorm style with a row of sinks, three toilets, and three shower stalls each in men's and women's. Showers had ample hot water and great water pressure. Loved the added touch of the shower caddies, bathrobes, and shower slippers.Communication with Sierra Meadows was swift and friendly, and I wish we took more advantage of all the amenities present. We came during off season but most cabins were still booked. There's a very thorough digital guest guide, covering everything from how to check out games to recommendations for local dining. While there is no kitchenette in the microcabins, electric grills can be rented from the camp store. If you feel like eating fresh, Oakhurst is nearby and has fully stocked grocery stores and some restaurants just a 10-15 min drive away.Rooms: Very clean and well-maintainedNearby activities: Free bike rentals at trails, pool

Indoor concert venue review.Nice little venue. Only issue was dance floor right in front of the stage with seating behind the dance floor. If a few folks got up to dance, you won't see the band. We ended up much further back and standing.

Just so impressed with Sierra Meadows. We stayed here as accommodation in Yosemite park was so expensive. It s about half hour from South Gate and 1 hour on from there to the valley., but it s a pleasant drive. The micro cabin was lovely with loads of nice touches - bath robes, tote bags and sliders for the bathrooms. Bathrooms were great - well maintained and clean, and nicer than some hotels! I don t usually write reviews but wanted to make sure this place got some credit as it was fab and very well priced. Really impressed and if we are ever back this will be a first stop.

I loved staying here. The mini cabin was great for us and had everything we needed. It was clean and provided coffee, tea and bathroom amenities. However there were ants in our kitchen area and so we kept everything in the fridge. Other then that, it s a great accommodation and easy to check in and out of.Nearby activities: We visited Yosemite National Park and stayed here. There are good supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Also lots of local trails between the park and Sierra Meadows.Safety: The cabins are located a short way from the town and I felt very safe. The doors have programmable codes and you can change them once you arrive.

What a hidden gem! This is a beautiful property of rental cabins, complete with 1,300 acres of trails through a former golf course that s been repatriated back to the wild. There s sculptures on the trails, a pool/clubhouse, and so much wildlife. They are dog friendly (with off leash areas for them to run), and offer a list of dog sitters for you if you plan to go into Yosemite for the day. The store is well stocked and I appreciated the offering of seltzer and non-alcoholic drinks in addition to alcohol.I rented here because nothing was available in Yosemite. I am so glad that I did. The hour drive into Yosemite wasn t bad (be sure to get an America the Beautiful Pass at the ranger station for $80 for multiple entries). I ll definitely be coming back here and skipping all the Yosemite lodging from here on out.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Made a reservation on airbnb. I got sick and don t want to be rude and risk infecting others. They refuse to give a partial refund or even let me reschedule for a future date THAT IS AVAILABLE. On their website they state you can cancel and get reimbursed minus a fee or one time change the date, but they won t honor this on air bnb. Contacted them on Instagram and they won t reply. Let a comment and they blocked me. Horrible customer service. Don t waste your money

A fantastic place to stay located outside of Yosemite national parks and situated next to an area with great restaurants and grocery stores. The lodging and accommodations were amazing and equipped with pour over coffee kits as well as tea. The check in process was extremely easy and the cabins were spotlessly clean. We stayed in a micro cabin the first night which had a shared bathroom. The bathroom was also extremely clean and modern. Our second night we stayed in a small cabin which was also excellent and had its own kitchen and bathroom. The premises are on an old golf course so there are lots of trails available to walk or run on which I took advantage of and loved. They also have many bikes for free rental on the grounds which my husband utilized. There also was a camp store which had a variety of items available. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. For the reasonable prices, perfect location, and phenomenal lodging, I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Sierra Meadows surpassed our expectations! The cabin is spotless, and really well laid-out for our family of four, plus our pup. Lots of hooks that make it easy for travel. Our girls love the pool, the toys, the trails. The have games and sports equipment you can check out. A small shop. The resort is really quiet. It s an old golf course that has lots to explore.Check-in was a breeze. I would 100% recommend!

OMG, this is a hidden jewel and can't be missed. We stayed there just for a night, but a great opportunity lost. Nicely sized cabins, good facilities, free bikes, great pool located out of no where and just for yourself, a bit remote from busy life, but pretty close to nearby stores (15 minutes away). Highly highly recommended and would revisit for sure!(My only issue being noisy air-conditioners).

This is such a calm and relaxing place to stay. The area is secluded but a short drive from restaurants, shopping, historical sites, and all kinds of outdoor activities. The cabins are clean and stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. The hosts will keep you updated prior to checking in, and they're ready to help with any questions. The shared bathroom and shower facilities are clean and close. All in all, it's a wonderful place to go and relax.

I was visiting Yosemite with my dog, and this was a wonderful place for the two of us. It was very dog friendly, with lots of areas to walk. There is an entire retired-golf course that is now a huge meadow that guests can walk through, with scenes of rolling hills, a small stream, some sculptures. I stayed in one of the small micro-homes (sans bathroom) and it was super clean, just perfectly sized and cozy--with a heater and A/C, nice little patio too and tons of sunlight. The shared bathrooms were well kept and there is even a faucet with filtered drinking water, so pack up a reusable water bottle before going! There is also a private parking spot in front of each little cabin, which is quite convenient. All in all--would highly recommend, great amenities, friendly staff (available 1-9 PM), and beautiful property with cozy cute cabins.

Tiny Cabins; huge value. Charming little space with all the amenities you need (dishes, cutlery, hot plate). Nice little patio and even situated by a nice little creek for ambiance (wooded area; bring bug spray). Soap, shower gels, towels, and linens provided on site. Thorough and clear instructions and information provided for the different aspects of the rental (including dog dishes and a list of pet sitters in the area). Free bicycles to tour the surrounding property (limited availability). A little off the beaten path, but provides a nice sense of seclusion while only 10 minutes from town - and right outside the South (HWY 41) entrance on Yosemite National Park. To boot, the staff provided a hand-written personal note and (amazing) PRELOADED ICE TRAYS. Who does that? These guys. Also, some drinks and snacks at the manager shack.Noteworthy details: Book now.
