I've taken several vehicles with various transmission issues here over the years...most work fleet and one personal. They've always taken great care of me and got the problem resolved quickly and for a fair price. I absolutely recommend Arkansas Transmission.

We have had 2 transmissions rebuilt here. The fist was on a Chrysler Sebring, and the second was on our Mazda Tribute. The people are wonderful and friendly, the work is done in a timely manner, and the work performed is spot on. We will use them for all our transmission needs. Highly recommend Arkansas Transmission.

Trustworthy, fast, complete and professional. They quoted the cost to replace the transmission on our 2016 Yukon SLT up front. No hidden charges, no up selling. I will use them again! And, I will tell anyone I meet with a transmission issue to call Joe. Outstanding service.

I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler with a 2019 Cadillac 6.2L engine and 10L80 transmission that was having problems not going into any gear and wouldn t move. I had it towed in at the end of the week and by Monday afternoon they had a solid diagnoses on the problem. Parts were not available to rebuild it, but they were able to locate a brand new GM transmission and get me back on the road! Everything was handled professionally and reasonably priced. It was the best experience I have ever had with an automotive shop. I normally don t write reviews, but in their case they very much deserved it! Thanks again!Service: Transmission

First of all these Guys and Gals are the nicest people. They not only repaired my car for the correct amount they did it in one day. They even notified me of something that would have caused me problems down the road and we took care of that too. They are the best and have been in business for a very long time. It's nice to have a car repair done and walk away happy for a change.

I wouldn't even give a one star but that's the only way to leave a review.I ordered a transmission at the end of February. The ETA was May 23rd. I should have walked away then. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Paid $3000.00 in March. May 22nd called to see if my transmission was there. Was informed it would be another 3 weeks. I was informed on June 8th that they couldn't get the transmission that there were 15 ahead of me. I was told to come and get my money back. I'm not sure what this company works on but.. .in all seriousness, they do NOT need to have Transmission in their name.When I got the information on the 8th.. I had to go buy another car. That if they had not jacked me around for four months I would have bought the new car 3 months ago and saved myself more stress than any human should have to endure. Good luck to anybody looking for this place for help.

Had a great experience here after being given the run around across town at Accurate Transmissions. They diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it without a rebuild. I m so grateful. They even helped me get it towed to them from Accurate Transmissions and included that in my bill so I didn t have to manage that. It s the kind of business you don t want to have to use but you re so relieved when it goes well. I would use them again for any future issues!Service: Transmission

I had a wonderful experience with Arkansas Transmission Company. I brought in my 2014 Chevrolet Malibu with torque converter issues. They were able to get me back on the road with a solid and reliable vehicle again. It did take them a few extra days than what was originally quoted, however, they were not pleased with the performance of the transmission after return to service. They continued until they were satisfied with every detail of the repair before returning it to me. Absolute class act. Thank you!

Brought my truck in expecting my transmission was in need of rebuilding. However, it just needed a way overdue service. Since, I have not had any issues and my truck runs as well as I remember it new. I highly recommend AR Transmission to anyone in need of repair.

I called around the area to find service to rebuild the transmission on my 2005 Ford Sport Trac. Prices and reviews varied, but I kept coming back to ATC. Their price was very competitive, and included the "extras" that some others charged for--trans fluid, torque converter, etc. Their reviews (Google and other sites) were always good, with the exception of those who were out of state when their trans had issues and chose to utilize a local shop--warranty is only good at local shop! But with that in mind, I hobbled my truck in. The owner did a preliminary diagnosis, and found that the reverse had failed, and he was barely able to get it moving! But I was told "3-5 days" for repairs, and 4 days later, I got a call saying my truck was finished.I found their work to be just fine, as the transmission worked perfectly upon pick-up. I've since put about 2000 miles on it, and haven't had the slightest issue. All in all, they did exactly what I expected. The customer service, however, was above and beyond expectations. And it's also what prompts me to leave a review. The workmanship and business side was great, but the personalized and personable people are a rarity these days. Brought truck in for a repair had a solenoid code showing. Charged me $85 for a diagnosis. Said I needed a brand new transmission $4995. Took it to a small town mechanic. He replaced the solenoid that the code was showing. Works great. Wouldn't refund my money after I called them back. Beware this company

They even went above and beyond , and stood behind their work on a transmission that was technically out of warranty. We Very much appreciated their integrity. Outstanding service. ATC went above and beyond to make sure that my truck ran better than it has in years. In addition to rebuilding my transmission they diagnosed a plugged exhaust. Even went to far as to disconnect my muffler and pull out some of the catalytic convertor material that was causing the issue so I could go back to the exhaust shop to show them what they had missed. Would definitely use them for any future needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING TRANSMISSION ISSUES.Service: Transmission

Had my transmission rebuilt and the following week I lost all gears and was stranded 1200 miles away. They knew that I was from out of state and have a warranty that is ONLY valid at their location (which I found out about when I read the warranty). Now, in order to get anywhere I was told that they would not cover any repairs outside of their shop and have to pay someone else to redo their work. I am not very happy and would recommend staying away from them.

ATC is definitely the cream of the crop. I contacted them on a Monday afternoon after my car had a major issue. The owner was able to offer me what I needed to get it up and running ASAP. I dropped my car off after hours Monday night, and I got a call saying it was ready just after lunch on Tuesday. They absolutely go the extra mile and I won't be taking my cars anywhere else for transmission work! Side note: They have the most laid back and sweet office dog....

Avoid at all costs. Parents came into town for a holiday weekend when their vehicle s transmission went out. Took the vehicle in for a transmission rebuild. Owner knew the vehicle had to be driven back to Texas and would not adjust his warranty. Because we were in a bind on a holiday weekend we accepted the warranty that did not allow for outside repair. Not four months later, car breaks down. Turns out the brand new solenoid pack they installed was busted . Owner said that it was just luck of the draw. They replaced it at no cost. As we drove the vehicle back to Texas, the transmission went out again. Now stranded 150 miles from home and their office won t even answer the phone.

I had them put in a transmission for me in 2018 and it wasn't working right after they put it in I end d taking it back to them 5 times and they never figured out what's wrong. Well right after the warranty was up it started having a delay in reverse and acting up and now the reverse is gone out of it and I'm stuck and can't work. I really don't recommend them. You're not correct I brought it back to you 5 times and the transmission has never been right since u put it in. Kind of funny it lasted just long enough for the warranty to run out. Not long after the warranty was up it started delaying going in reverse. I just so happen to see in another review where u put faulty pshift solenoid in another person's vehicle. That's ok cause when I take it to another shop I'm gonna have them check the valve body and shift solenoid. Cause that's what it seems like. Y'all didn't do something right or it wouldn't have messed up as soon as it did. People don't take your car there.Service: Transmission

My truck left me stranded, and Arkansas Transmission is who was recommended to me, by my previous mechanic, who had retired. I had it towed to them, they looked it over, tested it out, determined it was NOT the transmission, gave me the computer codes for the problem that left me stranded (completely unrelated to the transmission), and didn't charge me a thing!You gotta love a company that that honest, and also willing to put in some diagnostic time for no charge! I'll be back if I ever need transmission work again.

Thanks so much for doing an impeccable job on my 2005 Chevy Avalanche transmission rebuild. I have done business personally with the Browns for over 15 years. They are a locally owned business I have come to know and trust. They took the time to diagnose my "check engine light" and rough shifts and provide me with an education to what was going on and outline what would be done to correct the problem. When a loaner vehicle came available i was called immediately and my personal vehicle was fixed within a few days. I highly recommend Arkansas Transmission Company and would not hesitate to bring another vehicle to them for repairs.Thanks guys!

I didn't know if my car had ever had transmission service, but at 120K+ miles, it was needed. Other service stations recommended a transmission flush. After my drain and fill at Arkansas Transmission, my car shifts smoothly, no hesitation. A definite improvement. This team knows its stuff!

Arkansas transmission has built a transmission for my 2002 Corvette in the last few months and then I had a transmission built for a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is the most honest repair shop. I've ever done business with in my life and some of the best fine young men in the world thanks to everyone at Arkansas transmission I don't have to worry about my transmissions ever again thank you to everyone at Arkansas transmission God bless you all!. Warmly greeted and expectations were set w regards to the time I had to wait and the fees for a diagnostic. After waiting an hour, I was told they didnt service my car which was a bummer (Volvo). The girl was new so I would give her a pass. Christian Brothers recommended them later that day, so apparently everyone is unaware that they dont service Volvo there. No real waiting area. No sidealks to actually walk anywhere so bring a friend to take you out while they service your car.Google maps has the wrong address for this place. You are directed to within 200 meters of the place but it requires a U-turn and some racecar driving skills to make the turn across 4 lanes of traffic.
