The good first. A beautiful place to walk in history. Clean, well marked historical buildings. The bad. If you decide tou want to take pictures in front of a historical building, Karen will come see you and tell you that you cannot bring a blanket and set it on the ground to sit on because you cannot have props on the historical grounds.Kinda disgusting treating people like they are criminal for taking Christmas pictures.Need I say we asked Arkansas Game and Fish if it would be a problem and they said it would not be a problem and picnics with pictures would be encouraged.Beware of Karen. Unless of course you are driving backwards down the one way road, than you have nothing to worry about.

Interesting place. Across the street is a working phone booth. They have a 5 mile drive trail with historic stuff along the way. Everyone seemed nice there.

Beautiful tribute to the brave heroes who defended their families and their way of life. The park is peaceful, in a stark contrast to what it represents. There are great facilities as well as a small but informative museum.

Beautiful, well kept, good information. You can really picture the battle. 10/10 definitely suggest a visit even if it's just for a free scenic walk

A beautiful and educational location. My husband and I loved the multiple places to stop and read about what took place during the battles while walking the trail. The land and trails were well kept and no trash. It was also interesting seeing what the houses and other buildings would of looked years ago. I highly recommend and a playground is nearby which is great for children.

This place was very cool. The park offers a small museum and gift shop as well as many other historical buildings to visit. This was the location of a civil war battle that took place. The museum is small, but has a lot of information! There are also paved walking trails to view the battlefield, buildings, etc. I would plan on spending at least 4 hours at this location to see everything.

The museum is quite informative, pointing out the details of the battle and its consequences. The grounds and the site of the battle look so peaceful today, but it's easy to imagine the violence that took place there.

This was a beautiful place to stop in. We drove through it and stopped along the way at designated destinations. The countryside was gorgeous and they did a great job with the website and having a virtual tour guide.

Interesting historical park. Once a year they have the Clothesline Fair which is actually bigger then I thought with all kinds of boots varying from clothing to foods. Also worth while to go at the Battlement reenactments.

This would be a nice place to come walk the dog if you live near by. I don't think it's worth visiting if you are a tourist. It's basically just a big field, there are a lot of buildings but they have all been redone and aren't fully authentic

This park is beautiful. I grew up here so the nostalgia is lovely. They keep improving in it. Lots of signs to read, history to learn, and a beautiful, hilly trail.

Rich in history. We were limited on time so we did a quick in n out at the visitors center. Staff was nice. Want to come back to see some reenactments. Did the driving tour. That was pretty cool... a drive through state park. We highly recommend this SP.

Another HOT event but the Clotheslines Fair with all the tents was family fun time! These events have some reeeeeally talented people present! This year or the next, go support these people. Dog-friendliness: Lots of s. Dog water stations were even around. Make sure they get a good drink of high quality H20.
