Our Subaru needed new head gaskets and timing belt. They did great work and used high quality parts at a fair price. I would not hesitate to use them again for any other repairs.

Amazing help on short notice! We were on the last leg of a four-day road trip, hundreds of miles from home, when our car started shuddering every time we went above 40 mph. I called JC Automotive and they said to bring it by, even though it was a busy Saturday morning. They were waiting for us when we pulled in ten minutes later, and managed to get our car fixed up - including a new part - in just a couple of hours, and at a very reasonable price. They were so nice, and absolutely saved our trip!

Took 2 and a half months to fix my car. Replaced it with an old motor that looked like it was already falling apart, shop just looks like a junkyard. People are friendly, but they do the cheapest job possible. Lost my job and got my car repod due to them not completing the task in a timely manner.You notice the old reviews, are vague and seem staged. The employees probably wrote some of the good reviews themselves on fake accounts.

I have used JC Automotive for a couple of years now. They are great to work with. As honest of a shop as I have seen. I know enough about cars to be dangerous so I at least know that Curtis is telling me the truth and giving me his honest opinion about what needs to be done. I simply will not bother going anywhere else.

I've taken my car in a few times and they fixed the problem and was very affordable. Very friendly from the office to the shop, will definitely be going back if I have a problem with my car again. Thank You for serving the Conway area, Lord knows I've came across quiet a few shops here that wasn't so honest.

They honestly don t even deserve a star for a rating. Had a motor replaced for my car by them a few months back (car dealers choice not mine). Not only did it take twice as long as they said it would, the work was pathetic! My resonator was cut off at their shop and acted like they had no knowledge of it. After the dealership and JC Automotive said my car was ready to go, few days ago my car was making a horrible shaking motion. Come to find out they didn t even TIGHTEN MY MOTOR MOUNTS! Had two bolts almost ready to fall out and one for sure is missing (this is the three I can see without getting under my car). Do yourself and your family a favor, use a professional not someone who pretends to know what they are doing.

I have been going to J C Automotive since I stumbled into their parking lot about 3-4 years ago after leaving another shop! Curtis, his wife, and other mechanics have always been fast, friendly, accurate and comparable in price!!! The time before last I had a different shop tell me that my car would cost $950 to fix. They fixed it for only $231. They will always be my go to people for my car as long as I am in Conway.

Don't have to worry about my car with jc automotive. Quite refreshing to pick up my car and be told the total was much less than quote because a part normally needed during this type service was in good shape so they didn't replace OR charge me for it. Honest and fair. I'm never going to a dealer again for service.

If only no stars was an option. They told me it would cost me less than what it did in the end and I chose not to fix the vehicle because of age and mileage he told me he would put it back no problem at this rate which was a lie. I drove my car to them and I ended up having to have it towed off because they broke parts on it. On top of that they threw lose parts and dirty oil rags under my hood and closed the hood threw what he couldn't fit under my hood in the back hatch. Absolutely will never do business with them again. Oh and when they know they screwed you they block you from their Facebook page so you can't write them a review. Imagine that?! Not worth it guys don't even waste your money.

I am a disabled vet in a power wheelchair. Consequently, my adapted van is more important than for most folks. If my van doesn't go neither do I. Likewise, breaking down on the highway is more than an inconvenience.Until last year I always blindly took my Dodge van to the dealership for everything. Everything.Once a year I dropped my van off at the dealer for a bumper to bumper inspection and repair. If it needed repair, fix it. No questions asked. Until last year. That was when I was informed my van, with only 53,000 original miles, had bad valves. Bad valves? Seriously? My van had more " garage miles " than over the road miles.To repair my van meant putting in a new engine costing $7600.00. I could by a new adapted van for $45,000. Of course 72 months of payments would come with the van. I paid my $900.00 repair bill( which included a tune-up ) took my broken van and went home.At my wife's urging I reluctantly sent my van to J C Automotive. Less than 2 hours later it was back in my garage running perfectly. Cost? Only $296.00 !I just picked up my from J C after its yearly check up. I am pleased to say it has continues to run flawlessly. THANKS J C Automotive!

Just got my truck back today from Curtis. Had my rear end rebuilt from Curtis. Thank you again, great shop to have any light to major work done. Very good people here. Keep up the good work.Update left the shop the 1st time and did really good an rearend started making noise. I brought it back to curtis to fix the issue it was having. Today I came by to pick up the truck an the rearend got fixed it is alot smoother than when I first picked it up an no more howling noise. Running flawlessly. Thank you so much. Hopefully no more issues LOL. If any body has any problems curtis does an will do anything in his power to make it right. He is very honest an straight with the customer. Thank you again Curtis

i hit a curb on one of the round abouts pretty hard and they got me back on the road. Save your time and money, and take your vehicle elsewhere. I was told I wouldn't be charged for a diagnosis if I bought the part and had it replaced through them. They misdiagnosed my car and were ready to charge me $700 for incorrect repairs! I get a call saying my part is in and they're ready to get me scheduled. I tell the lady my car was misdiagnosed. She tells me "well we didnt charge you a diagnosis fee, so if you would have paid for the diagnosis, it would've been correct". Then why the hell are you telling people diagnosis is free if you have the car repaired through them? Terrible business and low quality service.

They are wonderful people as well as mechanics. We have taken our vehicles to them for about 8 years. No complaints. Absolutely trust them.

I took my car to JC Automotive shortly after moving to Conway in 2011, and haven't gone anywhere else since. A far cry from the horror stories I've heard about people getting ripped off at other shops, they are knowledgeable, helpful, and beyond fair. If you're in the Conway area and need work done on your car, you'll be hard pressed to do better than JC.

Worst experience! I paid in cash what he wanted, ended up trying to charge me $600 more before job was even completed. Which the job was never completed they pushed my unfinished engine swap out of there shop because I wouldn't quit asking WHY my car wasn't being worked on or why it wasn't finished. What started out as a 5 day job by the so called Chevy Expert on day 27 is when they pushed my car out but kept all my money. I'm sure people will still go here but DON'T pay them 1st like I did.

I have awful luck with alignments... R&D Tire aligned my car twice, and it was still WAY OFF!These guys got it right the first time, and that's a rarity. Even Gwatney in Sherwood took THREE tries before they got it right on my last car. I'm not the average Joe - when it comes to alignment, I expect perfection... that's what you're paying for, that's why they use lasers and computers to align them.JC Auto got it right on the first try; and in my experience, that's very rare.

We bought my son a 1984 El Camino. It had been used as a weekend hot rod and my son began using it as an every day car. Needless to say, something goes wrong about once a month. Curtis at JC Automotive is always fair, always competitive, and always helpful. I highly recommend JC Automotive.

Overcharged veteran. Ask to notify me of price, he didn't. Asked to stay under 300. It's cost for what was done was 557.57. No since in that. He knew how to milk a bull.......
