I had a great experience at Hines automotive. Hines had great customer service. They did a very thorough inspection of my car. I do not know the first thing about cars and they did not take advantage of that. I left feeling very confident and assured of the work they did. Will definitely be going back in the future!

Had some work done 23 months ago. It had to do with the check engine light and purge valve. Un the last few months my check engine light came on again. i took it back to them and they checked it all out. When i asked what I owed them, they said all was under warranty from previous repair- NO CHARGE! These folks are great! Highly recommend!

We have used and trusted Hines Service Center with numerous cars for over 20 years. They are courteous and punctual in repairing our vehicles, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. We trust them to only fix what is needed, and to give us the best advice on the rest.

Took full advantage of my emergent need and vulnerability. Even down to the very loud throat clearing from one employee to another while going through my paperwork.I walked in their building at 8:30 on a Monday morning, explained I needed a diagnostic ran for my check engine light. Told them what was going on and what I thought it was. They said they would have it read by lunch and would call to discuss. I waited until 1:30, no call. I called them to be told "oh you're next in line". No big deal, it was a Monday and I wasn't scheduled per se. I thanked him and said I would wait for his call.My event finished at 4:00 and still no call. I walked from Hendrix (100+ heat index) back to Hines. My car was moved so I was thinking, okay something was done. I go in to be told, "it's going to be $1100+ to fix everything and we will finish it tomorrow.". The check engine light was that the engine coolant temperature sensor needs replaced, the a/c needs fan work, and recharged. We did the a/c recharge already. Ummmm WHAT?!? No sir, this was not discussed. I asked for my light to be ran and to be called. No one called. I had to pay $216 to get my car. When I stated ".. having to pay money I don't have for yall to do nothing", the guys very proudly said " we did do something, we charged your a/c!". And?!?That didnt even fix my problem. They mocked asking how I was going to get home (1.5 hours away), I answered through my tears "I will pray my way home". I do not know why God led me to this place to only NOT be heard and get screwed out of much needed money. If you are in the Conway area and need a mechanic, go straight to Austin Brothers. They come highly recommended by locals. Wish I would have asked for help before I googled something close. My lesson learned that cost me $216 for NOTHING!!!BTW ... I made it home that night (praise God) and got my car fixed the next day. You know what fixed it all? Surprisingly it was the engine coolant temperature sensor. What the what?!? Cost me $275 to get my car working normal (that one part fixed the air too ... so much for that $1100 Hines!). And that mechanic got homemade cookies and big thank yous, all because he listened and fixed my car.

I can not begin to express the appreciation we have for all of the employees of Hines Service Center. Everyone is always friendly and super helpful with any needs or questions we have. I do not feel like there is anywhere else that you could get better service. We have had several cars worked on in the past two years and each time has been a great experience when it comes to the services they provided. They also have fast and easy financing through Napa available on their website. I was approved immediately. I was able to use my account before my card arrived in the mail. The Napa credit card also offered 6 months of no interest.

We broke down out of town and these guys were the best. They answered my questions and worked with me. Unfortunately it was time to send our vehicle out to pasture and they were kind in helping us to do this. Great service and honest. If we ever need anything while we are up there again, I will call them.

I ve used Hines Service Center many times over the years. Employees have always been courteous and service has been good with fair prices. Brett is always upfront on time frames and they stick to their estimates and contact me before going outside any agreements. Brett and Rick are good guys and the other staff have been easy to deal with too. Thanks guys. That last visit was worth it. My exhaust looks better than when I bought my truck!

This one is a 2003 Ford F-150 with 277000miles, I can t afford a new truck but with the guys ( and gals ) at Hines I will be keeping this running for a long time. They warranty the repairs and are easy to work with, I recommend them over any other shop in the local area and I have been here since 1988. The green monster (2001 Ford Excursion) has 204500or so miles on it Hines helps me keep it going. My spouse s 2014 Buick has 82000 on it and they keep it running great. Hines is a shop you can trust for repairs ,I have for almost 20 years.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

This was the first time I had brought my car anywhere to get serviced, and I was very pleased with the work done, and the price. I had an oil change done as well which turned out to be a lot cheaper than than what I was expecting. The people there seem to know what they're doing and were very helpful and informative. I have a 2500 mile road trip coming up and I feel a lot better about it now

Conning disabled vets!?One day, my husband's truck simply didn't start. It wasn't one of the usual, easy-to-fix problems. So we tried Hines for the very first time, because they'll tow the truck to their service center for $65. Husband goes back for his truck (new fuel pump) after a week and $800. In their very parking lot it doesn't start. The tech waves it off--"Oh somebody left the door open, I'll jump it." Nick drives it home after a jump, and then it never starts again (can't even be jumped, new battery and all). So we called them (still the same day we picked it up) and say "Hey man, this truck we paid you $800 to fix won't even start still" and they apologize. "We'll tow it back, it's on us," they said. A half a week later, after we called and texted multiple times with no answer, they tell Nick it's 'coincidentally' a NEW issue, but, I quote, "It's a $10 fix". When they're finally done with it... "That'll be $160." They decided to charge us with the tow, because they say the new coincidental $10 problem was not something they caused. And of course they need to charge $50 for a $10 fix. After we already paid them nearly $800? I politely explained my complaint. I told them they never should have sent my husband home with a truck that still wasn't starting. Dude had the AUDACITY to say that my mentally disabled veteran husband "shouldn't have CHOSEN to drive it away". They brought the price down to $110 as a courtesy, but obviously, these are not the kind of trustworthy and respectable mechanics you'll want to visit.

I love the guys at Hines Auto Repair!! I ve used them for quite sometime and feel they take the best care of me! Very honest!!! They are all so kind and helpful! I, for one, trust them with my life because I m always in my car! I know it is in top knotch shape and have no fear of any problems traveling the highways alone. Thank you so much for your personal touch with your service!

We have gone to Hines for a little over 3 years and they ve always treated us well and Brett up front is extremely personable and friendly. Unfortunately we will be switching service centers after last weekend when my wife was driving her car and the serpentine belt snapped. When I recovered the snapped belt I could see cracks all through it. I was under the impression that belts, hoses, etc were all checked during maintenance. We ended up having to get a tow truck to come get us off of interstate 40 and take it to our house since no service shops were open after 5pm on Saturday evening.I absolutely wish them the best and hope their business does well. I am leaving 3 stars because they have taken care of us for the most part and I don t want our experience to deter others, just make sure you specifically request that things get looked over.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Preformed the work quickly and allowed me to request a last minute repair on top of the current need and the price was fair. The large majority of the cost was just the price of the parts. I was a first time customer couple months ago and the job was nice, I was comfortable in the waiting area and the stuff was welcoming. The price was really reasonable for the oil change service. I am giving it a five star and will go back soon for another oil change. They also have self-serving coffee and candy, which was fantastic. Appreciate the hard work.

Took my vehicle in this morning after it started acting up in a few different ways. While I m less than thrilled that I was sold the vehicle under false pretenses and I m far from happy that the repair will cost so much, I m glad the guys here were able to get the car in and looked at. I value their thoroughness and their honesty. Parts are expensive and they re professionals so I m not down rating them for the cost, but I ll be sure to have them check out the next vehicle I buy off a family friend.

When my son's car started overheating I took it to a shop in Greenbrier. They told me it was the water pump going out and it would be $2400 to replace it. No explanation for the high cost just replace a water pump! So I got a second opinion at Hines. The gentleman that helped me explained that the pump is built in to the timing system and that was the reason for cost. Makes perfect sense when someone takes the time to explain where your hard earned money is going. His car Emogene is back on the road and running great. If you are not car savvy and want a service center that gives you explanation of what is going on Hines is a fantastic choice. Thank you to all the guys for your service. I will be back...just hopefully not too soon!

We have used Choice for several problems. So have other members of our family. We always have had great results. They even recommended I take my truck to the dealership and try to get GM to cover some of the costs of the repairs of any issue that they knew to be common. They could have easily just taken my money. These guys are knowledgeable and honest. You can't ask for much more in a mechanic. I recommend them to anyone I can.

I loved this place they sent a professional fast and polite man to tow my car. Plus, they repaired my starter and had my car back to me before the weekend. They even called me this morning just to make sure we were satisfied. We are beyond satisfied. Their mechanics stayed late to guarantee my car was fixed on time. I am super impressed with this shop and will be leting them fix my car from here on out.

Rick was amazing at working so hard despite the many problems and run around by the company of the device being installed on my Jeep. After many phone calls lasting up to an hour at a time he never gave up and after 5 hours of wait time to complete the job he even wanted to be sure the company made it right by me for the hours long delay. I can not stress enough how much I appreciate his dedication to customer service and the ease of working with him and the staff to ensure we walked away happy with the end result. I now have a place I will go for all my auto work!

I stopped in for a basic rotate and balance. IT was 5:15 in the afternoon, right before closing time. I was attended o very promptly and received very fast service. I also, want to thank the mechanic that balanced and rotated the tires for informing me that I would need to replace my struts soon. First time I have used Hines but definitely will be a long term customer.

Hines has been my "go to" for repairs and tires for my vehicles for some time now. They are locally owned and operated and have been honest and up front with me. I appreciate the friendly service and trust them. I appreciate having a local, family run auto shop. I have had nothing but good experiences with Hines. There have been times when I have have an urgency, certainly not an emergency to them, yet, they worked me in and got be back on the road on time. I trust their suggestions and believe that they strive to help me take care of my car.
