We had a wonderful stay at Centerpoint Campground/Horsecamp. The campground is perfectly set up for parking with your horse trailer, with a convenient circle drive and an easily accessible dump station. Our horses enjoyed the clean and secure 12x12 pipe covered stalls. Steve, the owner, is fantastic and very helpful. We will definitely be making reservations to stay again!

We are loving staying here. We booked last minute because we wanted to hike to the Goat trail across the street and the campground we were staying at was too far away. Steve is a wonderful host and we are enjoying having electricity and water which is hard to find in the Ozarks. It is very quiet and serene with a beautiful setting.

Perfect place to stay for this area. We took our horses. The covered stalls were perfect. We rented the 2 kitchenettes for our family. Will do this again and again.

Excellent facility for horses and humans. Ten riders and 12 horses rode on awesome trails right across the road with others within easy trailering. The large kitchen and living area was great for our group, we rented Steve's rooms and also a couple of the trailer hookups. Since we had a spare horse we invited Steve to ride with us. Now he knows the trails and where to send you for scenic rides on the ridges and in the Buffalo River. He did great considering he had not been on a horse in 20 years!

If I could give this place zero or negative stars I would, called a little after 9 after looking for lodging for 4 hours with no luck (everything booked) we saw they had vacancy online, called to confirm and the nastiest, meanest man answered, belittled us, was horribly mean, didn't even answer professionally, and told us to never call there again. sidenote* this is 2 women alone looking in an area where signal is nearly non-existent, awful! Do not give this man your business, in fact I wish more people would call him in the middle of the night, just to annoy him, thats how awful he was. This is my first negative google review, and its earned. Horrible Awful man! Stay at another of the amazing places in the area!

Convenient location near multiple trails and the Buffalo River. Owner was friendly and kind. Simple, few frills, but also calm and easy. We had a comfortable stay and would happily return next time we stay in this area of AR.Wifi is available near the owner s porch. Would be great if RV spots had sewer, but it s manageable with the dump station on the way out.

We rented the cabin and it was absolutely perfect for 4 of us with room to spare. The huge porch off the back was so peaceful. Horse stalls were large and secure with water hookups close by and lights on the stalls. Trailhead was directly across the road but Chimney Rock trail was impassable due to a downed tree so check with the forest service to see if cleared. Riding was beautiful! We will definitely recommend this place.Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome

Steve is very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and kept up nicely and the horse pens look safe. We parked and rode for a day (Thanks Steve!) But look forward to coming back and campingUPDATECame and rented the cabin with a bunch of friends and stayed for 3 days with our horses. Had a blast! Great trails right there and many more within close hauling distance. Highly recommend!

I ve stayed here twice now with my teardrop camper and I plan on returning over and over again. Steve, the host, is such a kind and cool human being and was so accommodating! His property is right across from the trailhead of one of the best hikes in the area, his lodge is clean and cozy, and the campsites are perfect. You sort of feel like you re staying with family! Already looking forward to coming back here in the spring.

After an evening of scouting for campground with no luck and no cell service, Centerpoint Campgrounds appeared before me like an oasis in the desert. Well, not exactly. At first, pitching my tent in the dark, I was not too keen on the place for its lack of seclusion RVs and horses and a gang of singing Arabs for neighbors but the pond was mighty nice, and I just needed to get some sleep. Next morning I meet the owner, Steve, a most gracious and generous host who allowed me to work off the cost of my campsite and ultimately became a new friend of mine. I also met an old cowboy / buffalo rancher who was staying here with his old lady and a few horses. Shared a couple cold ones with me back at camp after running into each other a couple times on Centerpoint Trail. Anyway, ended up staying the whole weekend here, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and found this here campground proved to be an excellent base of operations from which to venture forth for to explore various points of interest along the Buffalo River (i.e. Goat Trail, Hawksbill Crag). Good times, reckon I ll be back for more.

We got there late and communicated it to the host per AirBNB app.Once we arrived we had to knock and got an upset host that we were late. Room and bathroom was clean. Small breakfast and coffee provided. Overall it was nice for a one night stay close to the trails, but the customer service was just not great.

Just got off the phone with James Morris (owner) after being courteous enough to call and let him know my party of 4 would be a late arrival (10:30pm). He immediately made the decision to cancel our reservation and turned his phone off to prevent further communication. He didn t ask for a reason or even entertain an alternative! Maybe he s having a bad day, but his service and agreements are completely worthless! This is actually my second time to use his location and until now would ve recommended it hands down. As of now, I have no refund and the owner refuses to accept my calls.I ll remain professional for now, but would not recommend this location unless your travel will fall on the owner s timeline.

Beautiful location and trails available across the road. Horse pens were safe and well cared for with water access. The owner Steve was very helpful with parking and assisting with our specific needs. The bathhouse was clean with toilet and shower for use. I would highly recommend.

Great hostel. Comfortable beds and warm shower. And it's right across the street from the Big Bluff trail head. Cheap too. Only $5 more than steel creek and you get to stay inside.

Nice place. Very clean. The man that operates it is super nice. The country is beautiful. I would advise against paying the extra for the pine bluff room. The web site makes it sound like it has a private bath but it doesnt. Just get the cheaper room. There isnt an actual "breakfast" but there are granola bars and coffee.

Steve is an incredible host! He is very laid back and is willing to answer any questions about the local area. The entire campground is very laid back and not super structured. Well kept and clean bathroom/shower house. Comfortable atmosphere off the grid. Loved it and will return again!

Steve has a great spread, a wrap around porch, went zip lining at stone point. Centerpoint trails & horse camp has the some the best scenery. There are mini festivals. Steve was a gracious host. We will be back again

I really thank Steve for giving me an amazing first time in Arkansas. The house is very newly renovated, with lots of windows, beautiful views of the forest, and a large deck to sit and admire the beauty. It s also close to the most popular and beautiful hikes in Arkansas. It s also extremely affordable. Steve is very friendly and accommodating. He will chat with you if you want or leave you space if you want. It was a great experience. I hope to be back.

Simple campground that was everything we were looking for with our small trailer; electric and water, reasonable price, great location near Ponca and the Buffalo River, genial host, and quiet at night. The road can be a little busy during the day but little to no traffic overnight. Only knock is that if the campground were to fill up there's just one bathroom/shower. Ask Steve about Sun Dancing.

Great camping, ideally located if you wanna hike Centerpoint/goat trail (literally across the road). It's very close to the road, although it's not very busy. Shower and toilet were fine. The host was very nice!

Steve was very kind and accommodating to our group. This site is a great jumping off point to float at Steel Creek and/or hike the Centerpoint Trailhead, the latter being literally right across the street (walking distance). The showers had good pressure and water was hot. No electric. There is potable water available to fill up your packs. Bring your own wood...not much to scavenge on the property.

Clean and safe covered pole stalls, clean room with comfortable beds. Welcoming host. Right across the street from a great horse trail and close to Buffalo River activities.

Ride across a busy highway to trails. One bathroom toilet and shower for all campers. Trails okay, not cleared, and owner knew nothing about navigating them.

We wound up canceling our reservation after seeing the lodge ! It is a joke of a lodge ! Looked like it was straight out of Deliverance! Very creepy. The owner then was very rude with me when I asked for a partial refund! Lost $186! And then claimed we were never there to see the place! Bad business!!!

Looking for fair treatment and great service? This is not the place! My friends and I never felt so discriminated and mistreated like we did that weekend by Steven. Never coming here again. Do not recommend it to anyone.

We got there late and the spot I reserved was taken. No one would answer the door or the phone so We just parked in an empty spot. The place was nice and clean but it was very aggravating that we could not contact someone.
