These guys were great. They did free diagnostic work and let toe my car there. I was a bit late picking it up and they don't have much room but they were very gracious. Joe met me at the tow truck out front with my keys, a smile, and a contagious sense of well being. Thanks guys!! I will be back!!!

We were on a roadtrip from MN and our engine light comes on here in Tucson. We were at the mercy of a shop we didn t know. The staff here went above and beyond to help us and displayed such honesty and integrity! They quickly diagnosed and serviced our vehicle. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you sincerely!

I ve taken my car here three times now and Wendell and the rest of the crew are always very professional, honest, helpful, and above all else, fast! They take the time to explain the issue and how they fixed it in a way that makes sense, which I really appreciate as someone who doesn t know much about car maintenance. This most recent time, they even honored the warranty that had just expired, which was more generous than other shops might ve been. They have my business from here on out.

JT auto was amazing. I got a bolt in my tire and they took care of it completely and very quickly. There were very accommodating of my three small children. I highly recommend them for their service quality and their customer service.

I have 2 daily drivers and 2 classic cars. I try to do the majority of the work on the cars myself, but sometimes the labor, effort or experience required is outside of my abilities.JT Auto and Wendell's quotes and prices for work and parts have always been spot on what I was expecting to pay before I went for the estimate. They also stand behind their estimate. I've met many of their techs. All good people.Sometimes they find more things that require attention and they've never been wrong. They have found other issues with my cars I didn't know about until I saw it for myself and they saved me more grief in the future.It's hard to find good shops and the only negative thing I can say is that their honest business model will eventually make them too busy for me to be able to get my own cars in.

My wife's SUV needed tires, so we popped in to JT Auto and they started on the car immediately! The service was fast, the staff was friendly and my wife is satisfied. I would recommend JT Auto to all my family and friends ... as a matter of fact, I'll recommend them to strangers too. Way to go, JT Auto, you have a customer for life.

Best oil change and tire service in town! But that s not all. JT Auto is capable of helping everyone with their car needs, service and repairs. Long time in the business locally owned, and because of that the owner has relationships with the entire auto industry in Pima County. Which makes it possible to serve a wider range of makes and models. The owner is a true car guy and this is calling, he even gives back to the community.

Excellent service. The owner takes pride in doing it right and not gauging the pockets. Don't just tell you what's wrong with your vehicle, shows you, and thoroughly go over the issue(s) with your vehicle.

I don't know much about cars (and they could probably tell) but the guys at JT Auto were completely honest, communicative, and helpful. These guys are clearly super busy but they squeezed me in & got the work done fast. Definitely recommend.

Best alignment I ve had in Tucson! I have a slightly lifted 4runner with some aftermarket upper control arms and larger than stock tires. I ve had the truck aligned a handful of times over the years and no one got it right. Other places never seemed to understand that an alignment doesn t mean - doing what the computer says as opposed to understand what an alignment does and aiming toward that. Even some four wheel drive shops in town didn t get this right. JT Auto finished my truck same day, suggested a part that would make the alignment perfect - I agreed to this suggestion - and the truck came back with the best alignment it s ever had per the data sheet they give you. I ll be coming here again.

I took a vehicle here for a pre-purchase inspection. They got me right in and came back 15 minutes later to tell me about some serious issues they noticed right away. The owner said he could continue with the inspection if I wished, but based on the initial problems, he recommended against it as it would have involved serious engine diagnostics and could be very expensive. He refused to take any payment for giving it a look over.The vehicle seemed like it was in great condition, but upon taking it back to the car dealership, they admitted they were still diagnosing issues with it (which they did not tell me about prior to test driving). I am extremely appreciative of JT Auto for taking the time to explain the issues and prevent me from making a very costly mistake. I would not hesitate to take another vehicle here.Thanks again.

I was told my car needed $2,400 worth of work (timing belt and water pump replacement, plus a replacement of the entire power steering system). I took my car to other shops, and it turns out all I have is a bad bearing in my alternator and a leak in one of my power steering hoses, which is what I suspected. I'm spending $400 to fix my car rather than $2,400, after this shop wrote me a quote for $2,400. See attached quote, as the owner's response (below) is inaccurate.

Wyndell and the team at JT Auto are amazing!! My daughter brought her 2013 Hyundai Sonata in for service just before closing time since it was making a horrible noise and they looked at it right away. First thing in the morning my daughter received a full report including photos of what was found and what needed to be fixed and the car was done before the end of the day. Wyndell explained everything in detail and was very professional and kind. We will definitely be using JT Auto for all future maintenance! If I could give zero stars I would!Had work done on my car earlier this year(February/March 2023) and they gave me a one-year warranty on the parts replaced. Fast forward to July 2023, and the same part needs to be fixed so I call to make an appointment. Due to the owner having a sudden personal vendetta against my boyfriend over hear-say. They blocked not only his number but mine and no longer will honor their warranty. The worst shop I ve ever worked with. The owner is rude and disrespectful, mechanics are decent but prices are outrageous so the fact they won t honor the warranty and flat-out block my phone number instead of TELLING ME NO is just ridiculous on their part. Never referring people to this company again.

Visiting Tucson and needed an oil change as the dealership had over a 5 week time frame to get one. Service was very friendly and professional and really appreciated the lack of upselling as well as photos of any suggestions of recommended services.

The best mechanic I've ever been to. Wendell promptly returned my call when I left a message. Making an appointment was easy. Office was immaculately clean and ordered. He offered transportation to and from my house. His electronic system for conveying the diagnostic to me was efficient and incredible. The service was done fast, AND he gave me a call for step-by-step updates!I really can't say enough good things about JT Auto. I've always had such mediocre experiences with mechanics, so it is a huge relief to me to have found one that is both trustworthy and efficient. Also, shout out to my man Carlos for providing transportation. This place is outrageously expensive. I was given a price quote of $2700. I had another shop do an inspection for the same work, their price was $1300.

JT Auto is quite literally the only place I trust in Tucson. I started visiting them about 6 years ago at their previous location and have refused to see anybody else since.No matter what I need, they can handle it and they do so with honesty and integrity. They're all incredibly friendly and experienced. I have gone to them for things as simple as an oil change to as intense as, "My car is making a scary sound and shakes! Please help!" They always handle the situation at a reasonable price and in a reasonable amount of time.It's so important to have a mechanic you can trust and the entire JT Auto crew fills this spot.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Oil change
