What a great spot! We were hearing a weird sound in the car and drove in to get it checked. They were booked up until next week and we were visiting from out of town and driving a rental car so we were in a pinch. Luckily, one of the mechanics was kind enough to still ride with us to assess the noise and then helped to resolve it. What a great experience and highly recommend!

Great shop, very professional. I am ok with the pricing, it might be a little above average but well worth it. The quality and consistent great service is definitely above average! Robert, the service manager is the guy to talk to.

Please beware of this shop. I brought my vehicle here 2 weeks ago because I heard unusual noises from the engine. I chose this shop because they had done work on the vehicle before by the previous owner. They had my vehicle for a few hours and had me come back by the shop to go on a test drive with the mechanic to show him the issue. He did not hear or understand the noise and basically he said to bring it back when it actually has a problem. I asked them to further try and diagnose the issue and waited another hour or so. I finally got a call back from the office to pick up my keys. They said they simply didn't feel like anything was wrong, but did not run any real testing. They unjustly charged me 75 dollars before returning my keys, even though no service was provided. I felt as if the did not believe me, and my concern was not important. Shortly after, my timing belt broke and engine was destroyed. I now understand the symptoms my car was showing were directly related to a failing timing belt and any competent mechanic should have recognized this. Unfortunately my car is now scrapped, whereas it could have been operational for some time if the timing belt was replaced. I understand it is my responsibility to maintenance my car at regular intervals, but it is also the job of a mechanic to diagnose simple, and important, mechanical problems. There are plenty of great independent shops in Tucson, and this one is most certainly not worth consulting if you value your vehicle.

I have been going to Albert's Auto for over a decade. They are professional and super friendly. The work done is top notch and they always leave my car free of grease & dirt inside the car (that is not always the case with other mechanic shops.)The prices are reasonable and they never try to sell you something you don't really need.Specifically Tom, the manager, is one of the most friendly and helpful service oriented people I have ever met. He makes it easy to drop car off and will answer questions when I call, without sounding annoyed or put out.

I am not here to persuade anyone to go to this place or not go to this place. But I would like this company to know why I won t be returning. I had the tensioner for one of my belts replaced recently, as the cold was making it squeal. It cost me about $200 plus a $30 checking under the hood fee. I went back about two weeks later because the noise was still happening, and it had actually gotten louder during the cold snap that we had. When they couldn t see me that day, I made an appointment to get it readjusted to the right tension, and I also ended up getting a few other things while I was there, like an oil change and new tires. They told me they couldn t find anything that was making the sound, which made sense since it had gotten much warmer and the sound only happened in the cold, so they didn t adjust anything for the belt. When I looked at my itemized receipt after leaving, I found that they had, however, charged me an additional $30 just to look at something that they hadn t fixed last time, and they they did no extra work on. I am a working university student with very little income, so $30 is not at all insignificant to me. I won t go to a place that thinks it s okay to nickel and dime their customers like that without even mentioning it. I also bought new tires there, they didn t come with a warranty, and when I got a nail in my tire they made me buy another brand new one when discount would have replaced it for $14. Said it was my fault for buying the cheapest ones for $150 each. I think it s important for a company to know why someone who spent over $1000 in the last four months is looking elsewhere. You didn t fix something, and you charged me twice to not fix it again. Then you left me high and dry with a brand new tire. That s not how you treat a regular, so a regular I am no longer.

I had some nagging electrical codes I was having trouble clearing. I took my truck to Albert's and they had resolved everything within about 2 days (not including the time to receive parts). Sent my 2007 Honda Accord V6 to Albert's Auto Care when some very necessary service was needed. I couldn't have made a better decision! The service technician at Albert's got my car on the schedule the very next day and found out from the trusted mechanics that my car didn't actually need all the service I thought it needed. They fixed what was needed and I had my car back the same day. When I went to pick the car up, I was impressed the shop was so clean and it had a family-feel environment. Everyone was so nice! I drove away feeling Albert's really cared about providing great and honest service. I'll definitely be returning to Albert's the next time my car has need!

I have been taking my 2 cars here for a few years now and couldn't be more satisfied. They are fast, efficient, reasonable and have a good vibe overall. They let you know what was wrong with your car (if anything), show you any worn out parts and generally seem to enjoy keeping my cars running in tip-top shape. They keep computerized records and help to figure out what services need to be done when. It keeps costs down and keeps my car running great. I highly recommend this shop. With these guys 200,000 miles seems like an achievable goal!

They are so friendly and incredibly trust worthy. They have been working with me to slowly fix up my car and are upfront about it's condition and costs. I've been with them almost a year now and I am so glad a friend recommended them.

I have been taking my cars to Albert's since 2009 and they have never steered me wrong. These guys are professionals in every sense and always give an accurate assessment of what your vehicle needs. I never feel pressured and the problem always gets solved. Even with long term or mystery issues, they're straight with you. I've recommended them to countless friends and they say they have the same experience. I've lived in many places but I've never had better luck with auto repair than with this place.

My mechanic! I trust them with fair prices, great work and no bs. Albert's is a mom & pop mechanic that I would recommend to everybody. One time they fixed a thing for free! They said it was so easy they couldn't charge me!!!! Awesome mechanics and fairly priced.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALBERT'S! The owner, Gary, is an incredibly kind, honest, caring, treat-you-like-family guy. I sat in the waiting area for 2 hours while they did a pre purchase inspection and I was so impressed with the way Gary explained to each customer who came in what the issue was (or wasn't) with their vehicle, and how to fix it affordably. I had quotes from several other places for pre purchase inspections and new tires, Albert's had the best prices. This business is family owned and they genuinely care about taking care of your vehicle.

Dropped the ball! I recently had my tires rotated at Albert's Auto-Care Center. After the work was done, the nice aluminum alloy finish was badly scratched around the bolts on all 4 wheels. Also, the little plastic hub-caps had scratches in them where they meet the wheel bolts. It looked as if they guy had his eyes closed when he did the work.This is a new vehicle and I still owe $10,000 on it. While the service person at Albert's disagreed with my claim, he said that he would get back to me on how the problem could be fixed. But I got blown-off and I never heard back from them. Since then, I've had to research the auto-paint market myself, locate a shop that could custom make the paint that I needed to repair the damage, prep the wheels, and apply the paint myself. It cost me a great deal of time and money.Normally Albert's does fantastic work for me, and this kind of poor workmanship and poor customer service was a big shock!

Awesome mechanic Mark very knowledgeable and efficient. Price reasonable, you get what you pay for. They are HONEST, family owned and reliable. They will fix your vehicle the right way so don't bother going to the cheap places cuz they'll mess your car up worse and charge u for it on top of it!

I have always felt treated with respect, reasonable pricing, and quick service. Ray was very honest about which repairs might help my car and working with me on appropriate solutions. I would highly recommend taking any vehicle to Albert's!

I've been going to Albert's for about 6 years, and I couldn't be more happy! They've helped me with long term maintenance and also helped me in severe pinches. My favorite part is their honesty. They don't upsale and don't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. For example, my car has a very minor oil leak, and instead of recommending to fix it right away, they recommend watching it since it isn't harmful. As of right now, my new husband and I try to do maintenance on the car if we can, and we use Albert's as our expert!

Started coming here on a recommendation more than 15 years ago and never left. There's a legacy built on family and it shows in everything they do...especially in how they treat their customers.

They truly care about doing a good job and helping people. I had them replace a part in my jeep since it wasn't starting properly, and it was for a very reasonable cost. Then I had to go back for the same problem several months later on, and they found out the part we had changed earlier was faulty and replaced it for no charge. I will always head here when I need my car worked on.

This shop is great!!! They have been around since the 1950's. They have a brand new building, are family owned and centrally located. Albert's is fair and honest about pricing. I let them work on my car and truck. I feel comfortable with sending my wife and other family to this location. Thanks guys!!!

Great Service from a Service Center you can trust. My daughter goes to the U of A and when her AC stopped working the Ford Dealer at the mall said the entire AC System needed to be replaced and it would cost $2500 dollars. Albert's fixed it for $162.Albert's saved Jessica $2338 by providing honest service at a fair price. If you son or daughter is 2000 miles from home and needs help Albert's is where they need to go. Tom Weidler, the service manager is the nicest and most knowledgeable service writer I have met in my 30 years owning vehicles. They still check your oil and will listen to your car in the parking lot for free. The dealer charges just to open the hood,. If you are still bringing your car to the dealer you are nuts. Albert's is the best and only place we wll be bringing our vehicles for service from now on. I only wish we had found them years ago because I am sure the dealer has been perfoming unnecessary repairs for years. Albert's fixed the car the same day we brought it in and recommended service they could perform in the future to make the car last for years to come. I can not thank them enough. Now II know if my daughter has a problem with her car I have a friend in town at Albert's who will make sure no one takes advantage of her.Thanks Tom Weidler and Albert's !

RIPOFF! Had a leak in my AC system, came to these guys and asked them to repair it. Even showed them exactly where it was leaking! Instead, they simply recharged it and said I should "watch it". For this "service" they charged me $240. A week later, it was dead again, and they wanted $550 to fix it! Brought it somewhere else where it was fixed for $300. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!

Went in expecting to spend a fortune on a fuel injector repair. Josh took a few minutes to sit me down and explain exactly what I needed, and why. No hassle, no rush, just a thorough explanation in laymans terms. Being new to Tucson, I'm glad to have found my new mechanic so soon. Thanks!

Very good service from both office staff (Ray) and the mechanic (Chis - I think). This business was located in Broadway across from the Safeway for ages but are now located in a new facility on Plumer just south of Broadway.
