Went there to have Gary look at my car. First time I had been there felt like I had known him for years. Told him what I would like for him to check.He gave me a estimate. It was a little expensive but better than what I was getting. Definitely a very HONEST and Up front guy. He took a look told me when I came back asked what I wanted to do. He said he could get me in the next morning. So I did it. When I got my car back it was half the cost of the estimate. Told me what else needed to be done for it to be completed. I now have a new mechanic. I won't be taking my car anywhere else. I will recommend him to my family,kids ,friends as well as anyone else who is looking for a GRAT MECHANIC.

Autocrafters is top notch. Their customer service was beyond what you would expect to get at a body shop. They definitely went above and beyond after I got in an accident. I was referred to them and am very grateful that I was. When I took it to them I had a stereo I was in the middle of installing, and even though it's not their specialty they went ahead and did the job for me! They were quick, and extremely reasonable price wise. I'm going to be doing more modifications to my Lancer, and I know exactly who I'm going to for it! These guys make you feel like family, and went the extra mile, even called me back a week later just to make sure the job was satisfactory. You just don't get that level of customer service at many places anymore, ESPECIALLY garages. Glad to say I know some great mechanics who are trustworthy, can/will do it all, and do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers. Thanks guys!

Greg and the wonderful ladies who are the smiling inviting faces to this business.. thank you. From handling my claim with ease, communicating with me and helping me understand the predicament I am in as far as collision and worrying with insurance. Let me start by saying that I own a body shop up in Washington State. I am rarely impressed by other shops but I am by this one. 45 years in business and not a single insurance contract (he works for the customer!!). This shop fixes cars the right way!My boyfriend has had his truck repaired here several times and it's always been perfect. He says "Greg is a legend"

Greg and Gary were extremely helpful while dealing with my insurance claim. These guys are honest and trustworthy, which is difficult to find when dealing with vehicle repairs this day and age. Every employee here was always very kind and helpful, answering any questions that I had with great detail. On top of this, they do amazing work. I will be returning to them for any problems I have whether it be body work or a mechanical issue. Thank you guys!

Phenomenal service with honest, trustworthy mechanics which are in short supply these days it seems! Randy was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. 11/10 experience, plus they have the cutest dogs to pet while you wait.

That s how this scam dude Grig did a body work on my car, for a hood a fender a front bumper he charge me over $4000, first I talked to him it was $1400 and later he added without letting me know, the owner of this place is a scam Garbage. Just had the front end of my truck rebuilt here! This shop is always my go-to for honest, no-nonsense repairs and maintenance.I've tried other shops, and more often than not got burnt by dishonesty or poor work. That's not the case here, Greg the owner and Kyle as the manager took great care of such a massive project (my truck is heavily customized and required lots of R&D on their end), and I can't imagine I would've been happy if I took it anywhere else.They've done work for me ranging from dings and dents, to massive repairs and maintenance - even worked on and restored my dad's classic cars as old as 1955! Look no further for a full service shop ran by honest and compassionate people.

Called in for some information about what was going on with one of my vehicles. Needed a ball joint wheel hub assembly and some other services. Was told I by the service advisor I don't have time to talk to you, here's a quote for $900 no real information and you can't drive it out of here cause it's not safe. I had worked in the auto industry for 7 years and that was the worst form of communication and service I had ever seen or delt with. Don't know if it was just the advisor I was dealing with but won't be back.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Only come here if you want your vehicle serviced right the first time! I was in a real predicament when I called AutoCrafters. The repair was really quick and painless. I cannot thank them enough for their fast, friendly, and superior help they provided to me and my vehicle. The owner Greg went out of his way on several occasions to help me understand how thorough they are and what would take place. The tour of the facility was an added bonus. We need more quality and helpful business owners like this one! Thanks again! I hope that you will get lots of business since I haven't had any problems since.

I have had a lot of mechanics try to rip me off and i didn t know better at the time. But autocrafters is my absolute favorite because they have always been honest, thorough, and explained everything to me. They find me cheaper parts when I need something replaced, they often cost much less than what I expect and their work is flawless. We moved across town but I still always take my cars there. Recently we had a broken A/C so I took it in. They weren t sure what was wrong, ended up taking it to the dealership for us because it had a recalled part in it, and dealing with all the dealership nonsense for us. We also got a taillight fixed and an oil change and it cost us like 200$. I seriously love these guys, they are honest and of course the dogs around the shop are wonderful.

This shop is OUTSTANDING. Kevin was great right from the first phone call. I was in an accident where I was the middle car in a 3 car collision. Fortunately the guy who hit me had insurance, but naturally the insurance company was giving me the run-around from the get-go. I thought this was going to be a nightmare since that s how the insurance companies operate. That s why I m glad I chose AZ AutoCrafters. Kevin was awesome dealing with the insurance company for me. He really knows what he s doing and when the insurance company started making things difficult, he stepped in so I wouldn t have to deal with them myself. When there was an issue regarding the authorization of repairs and authorization of the rental car, Kevin handled it right there on the spot. They really do a great job .and there s an Enterprise Rent a Car literally right next door so it made it super easy to drop my car off.They made this such an easy experience. I would recommend them just based on the quality of the customer service alone, and of course my car looks great too. It looks better than it did before I got in the accident. They do outstanding work. This is a quality shop very professional. Above and beyond from start to finish.

Very kind and friendly. Love the dogs. I put a two star because they wanted to charge me a lot for a clutch replacement. 478 for parts and 702 for labor? No thank you! Found a place that will do it for $300 cheaper. Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not.Edit: The repair ended up being what they said it would, but at a different place, so i will change my star rating. I do however feel like they tried squeezing some extra money out of me with repairs that weren't needed, so with that I'll do four stars. I would recommend this place to a friend who had the money and some decent car education.

Very friendly and accessible. There are no dumb questions here. It turns out my problem was 2x as expensive as my car was, but they still made sure I was informed about all my options, when they easily could have laughed me off the lot.If you care about your car and want to be sure you're getting the right info these guys are the patient and honest people you need.(They also have some lovely dogs to keep you company while you wait)

Top notch service. Knowledgeable, helpful, fair. I came in to get a flat fixed and because I have a hard to find size, Greg didn't have any in stock. Instead, he spent 30 minutes personally helping me find a nearby vendor that did have the tires I wanted in stock, and even negotiated a discount for me. Meanwhile, he gave me some great maintenance tips. All this while trying to sell me nothing. Exceptionally good service for a body shop, I highly recommend coming here. Just look at the cars in the back- you can tell serious car guys get their work done here.

I went to auto Crafters with a missing bumper and dented passenger rear door. Greg and staff took great care of my car. Looked amazing. He went out of his,way to add missing fins for a final touch. I would recommend this shop it really made a difference in my car.

I've taken my vehicles and have one there as I text,a 2019 RDX Acura.A trusted shop to get mechanical and collision repairs.Three months later now,my 2019 Acura is still waiting for parts.Things are bigginig to start looking very confusing,I stopped last week in person to have a look at the vehicle and I was told that the last two parts were being ordered;parts in stock in California a two day ship.I was told the vehicle would be ready in a week.I called today and was told that the parts are still ordered and waiting for those parts.July parts are in and I realized that the paint was not 100% so Greg going to respray the hood with clear to make sure everything is good.

I recently got into a car accident and went to the collision center that the insurance company suggested we use (lesson: never go to a bodyshop the insurance recommends). I had to take it back and fourth to that body shop 4-5 times without any luck. I had it so I went to AutoCrafters after hearing great reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend. Greg and Randy have always been attentive to my needs as a customer as well as addressing each and every concern I had with my car. They went out of their way to fix what the other shop did but also fix things that were not done before. Greg is truly a consumer advocate and will fight for the customer 10/10 times. I would not trust my car to anyone more than AutoCrafters. They are honest, quick, and reliable. They will not nickel and dime you and tell you to get unnecessary repairs!

Greg the owner really helped me out. I heard a sound on my car as I was about to drive to Texas. He looked at it for free and said it was my tyre. At first I thought it can t be that. So I changed the tyre and it was gone. Greg is very sincere, hard to find a workshop with good sincere guys. Stick with Greg hes very decent and trustworthy. Thanks Greg I got to Dallas safely thanks to you!

Extremely helpful gentleman at the front named Greg helped me fix an issue with my Fuel Rail Sensor for very fair price. Also love then environment and helpful people. Go here if you want fixing your car to be extremely easy.

I had damage everywhere on my car. There were 4 different claims submitted to insurance. The insurance company almost totaled my car. I was overwhelmed with the claim process but Thomas the General Manager of Autocrafters took everything off my shoulders. The professionalism of this company and talent exhibited in the restoration of my car is to be commended. If I could give Greg and his staff 6 stars I would. Nothing but professional from the first moment I spoke with Greg til the moment I picked up my car. They handled a very frustrating insurance situation for me after I was in an accident and got my Audi back and running in no time. Not to mention they paint matched an extremely rare color perfectly on the first try. Greg took care of my car like it was one of his own. If you are an enthusiast or just an average driver you and your vehicle will be in good hands at Autocrafters. They are proficient in everything from American muscle to European luxury. I would recommend Greg and his team if you are looking for a no hassle, no games, honest and upfront shop that will not waste your time... which unfortunately is becoming harder and harder to find!

These guys over billed an unsuspecting family friend to the tune of 10k (I'm not making this up) for replacement of headgaskets, hoses and a turbo. For perspective, that's $4500 more than the dealership (universally the most expensive option) charges for the same work.Multiple mechanics for second opinions have called their bill borderline criminally exploitative.Pricing aside, the headgaskets they replaced started leaking oil 2500 miles later. The entire motor has gobs of dollar store sealant haphazardly around the leaking gasket. The worst work I've ever seen. No surprise they would have nothing to do with honoring their work.Buyer beware. There are many better choices in the valleyService: Engine repair

I took my car to get it fixed for a coolant issue. My main hose needed to be replaced. They insisted I get the thermostat and housing replaced as well so I said ok. When I went to pick up my car, everything ran well but the very next day the car started overheating. I told them about it and they were just very obtuse about it. I paid them $430 to fix my car and when my car still had issues the next day, without looking at my car to see what the problem is, the owner said its most likely going to cost me lots of money to fix it and recommended I just trade in my car for another one at this point and get rid of it. Rather than telling me this from the beginning, he waited till they got money out of money first to advise this.

Watch Out for these Folks! Specifically the owner Greg. Yelp reviews are more accurate than Google Reviews for these guys FYI.To Jump right in my car was not starting, before I started to throw money at parts trying to figure out what it could be, I decided to get it professionally Checked out. After calling around different shops I stumbled upon Autocrafters. Greg was friendly personable made you feel like you could trust him. So I had no problem having him take a look at my car to see what the problem was. During our phone call we agreed to do a DIAGNOSTIC CHECK. As stated before I need to figure out what is wrong with my car. He agreed with the Diagnostic Check and even stated he would waive $50 off my initial tow for it to get to his shop. As a customer I was ecstatic that he went over and beyond to help me out. Little did I know it was all a facade.So the Following Day when my car arrived in his shop he quotes me it is going to be $1600 for a Fuel Pump Replacement. Now we all know it does not cost that much to replace the pump. Even with top of the line parts. I know my car and what she carries. So I kindly decline and state that I will pay for the DIAGNOSTIC CHECK and get it fixed elsewhere. I just needed to make sure it was the Fuel Pump that was really the problem before I spent unnecessary money. So I payed for my Diagnostic Check and let Greg Know that I am having a Tow company tow my car from his shop to a different mechanic. He agrees that this is Fine and said he will hand over the keys to them when they arrive. Perfect. The Morning my car was supposed to be towed from Autocrafters to the new Mechanic he texts me stating that I have a remaining balance of $79 dollars. Now i am expecting to pay $25 because that is the remaining balance after the waived $50 off tow. (TOW was 75) Immediately I ask were is this coming from and he states it is for the tow fee, I reminded he stated that he would waive $50 off the tow. He then goes and states he never said that and says ONLY IF I SPENT $500 or more then he would waive it. He NEVER stated that I had to spend a certain amount for the tow. So I refused to pay it. He then claims HE WILL NOT RELEASE MY CAR UNTIL I PAY THAT BALANCE. I still refused and HAD TO CALL THE COPS to get my car out of his possession. That in itself was a 3 HOUR ORDEAL. Finally when the car finally is released and towed away to the other Mechanic. I get a call from my new mechanic stating AUTOCRAFTERS NEVER PUT THE PARTS THEY TOOK OUT BACK IN MY CAR FOR THE NEW MECHANIC TO FIX. I call AutoCrafters, and they said they are not responsible for my parts STATING BECAUSE I DID NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND SPEND OVER 500 DOLLARS THEY WILL NOT PUT BACK ON THE PART THEY TOOK OUT! So i had to have the New Mechanic go over there and get my parts back for my car. Long Story Short I will never ever ever ever ever be doing business with this place again. Greg is a whack job that is inconsistent with his word. This is not how you do business. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

If you are looking honest, competent mechanics, this is The place in Tempe. If you want cheap, go to most of the other guys and learn about the high cost of cheap labor. Cheap usually gets you poor work and often dishonest recommendations that you don't need.I highly recommend AutoCrafters. They took really good care of my truck. The icing on the cake is that they are also very nice people, a pleasure to do business with. Thank you.
