Needed an oil change and had coupon, decided to try them out. Very convenient location and very short wait for appt.Staff very friendly and I could also hear others on the phone and the professionalism was there as well.Great for the all point check with notification of what was needed, took care if one and I will return for the other.I love that there is no pressure sale and I was in and out in about 45min, cheaper and faster then car dealer.

Days after the (5-star) posting below, our van broke down again (w/the same issue). AAA said it was a different issue (a second mechanic challenged that assumption), they charged us $91 for that diagnosis (that conveniently meant they didn't have to refix it for free), and quoted us $700 to refix the engine. We declined and instead bought the part for ~$100, and had our mechanic brother install it in 1 hour. Do that math - they quoted us $600 for less than an hour of work (to fix a problem we'd paid them to fix 3 days ago).Previous Review: I'm not an AAA Member, but the quality and speed of service at this location has me questioning that decision. They were SO helpful, and actually had our car back (fixed) two days earlier than they originally thought possible (due to the predicted delivery time of a required part); and they charged us less than they quoted us (believe it or not, they quoted us for a part that, after talking to us, they were able to obtain for less shipping costs, and they passed the savings onto us). Nobody expects that this type of experience (faster and cheaper than quoted) would happen daily - but the experience of honesty was refreshing, and welcomed.

I took my 2018 Dodge Charger here back in August after it overheated on me because I thought it would be cheaper to get it diagnosed and fixed since I m a AAA member. In which they charged me $90. Let me just say this, they told me I needed a whole new engine because a head gasket had blown. That was false, I took it to a smaller mechanic shop who fixed my car two weeks later for $150. The overheating was caused by my thermostat that FAILED. They quoted me $5,000-$10,000 for a new or used engine. Highly disappointed from their service. Can t even imagine what I would ve done after paying that and my car still overheating. Do better especially when young women are coming to you to fix their cars. Luckily my dad knows a little bit about cars and told me they were out of their mind, because my car is in great condition. Not sure if they just like ripping people off but please do your research before coming here to get your car repaired.

I never really take the time to write reviews for anything, but the associates at this AAA location gave me such a phenomenal experience that I just have to! First of all, a few months ago, I went to another mechanic shop for a diagnostic appointment because my A/C wasn't working. That shop quoted me $2400 which was very discouraging. Yesterday I just randomly remembered I had an AAA membership, saw that they offer discounts on repairs to members, and decided to reach out just to see what they'd quote me. Dylan, who helped me with my whole repair process, mentioned over the phone that he thought something didn't add up with the quote the previous shop gave me, and told me to just swing by this location whenever's convenient to take a look. Imagine the look on my face when this apparent $2400 repair was found to be misdiagnosed, and when I was told my A/C could be repaired AND a full vehicle inspection could be done on top of that for a total of $360! Not to mention, it could be done the very next day! I feel as though Dylan and his crew are the most genuine mechanics I've ever taken my car into. Being a college-aged woman, it is not uncommon for mechanics to try to overcharge me for repairs I don't need, and I believe I definitely almost fell victim to this scheme until I decided to reach out to AAA. I am so happy with my experience here, this location has truly earned a new lifelong customer, and they will undoubtably be servicing my vehicle for the remainder of its lifespan! After this great experience, it would be hard to get me to take my car anywhere else but here. In addition to the A/C repair, the vehicle inspection report was very clear and easy to understand, and I was given a quote for all the recommended maintenance of my car which I will be making an appointment to get done at the end of the month. It is absolutely worth it to have a membership for the discounts, although their out of pocket prices are still very reasonable! I have been raving about this experience all day with my coworkers and my boyfriend, and I even signed my boyfriend up onto my AAA membership, which we both agree was a no-brainer after the fantastic service I received with this repair. Needless to say, AAA has earned a lifelong client through their outstanding service and honest, skilled mechanics. I highly recommend going here for anything car related, they all seem to be truly experts in their field!

Don't go here if you have other things to do. I went for an oil change and inspection for check engine. The check engine issue appeared to be an old code and the issue was fine but, they did say I needed new shocks for the whole car. At first they told me it would be done the same day (I brought the car in at 8 am). They then call me a few hours later saying its going to take longer. I said fine figuring it should be finished by noon the next day so i can finish moving. It went beyond that point so I called to get an eta and the guy I spoke with just kept giving me a vague answer when I told him I needed the car. Wont bring any cars back here again. I understand things may need more time but there was no effective communication.

I have been using them for a few years now. They have been very helpful and will explain which repairs that I need right away and which ones can wait. There repair work is great, though they provide an excellent warranty, I have yet to use one. Thank you guys for all your great work!

I have come here to address an electrical issue for my a/c blower motor as well as maintenance (oil change). I am quite pleased with the service so far. Dylan gave a good estimate on the time and got me out of the shop and on my way in time. Any questions I had were thoroughly answered especially regarding price and part quality. This place is a complete scam! Do not ever go here they will take your hard earned money. Went here for an inspection charged me $90 for a 5 second inspection. Then told me I needed to pay $2700 in repairs. When online the most I could find for the parts they wanted me to install was $350. THEY ARE CON ARTIST NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

After my positive experience the first time (radiator replaced), I opted to have this shop figure out our broken AC on our Toyota Highlander. After troubleshooting the problem, their tech finally discovered and fixed the electrical issue. Totally transparent with the work needed to be done and no unnecessary price gouging. AAA is my go to for all of my auto care needs. I live in North Phoenix but don't mind the drive to Tempe because they always take good care of my vehicles. Professional. Trustworthy. Dependable. Reliable.

My check engine light was on and other mechanics were unable to fix the problem. I brought my Miata here and we were able to do a software update which completely fixed my problem. They're also very thorough about letting me know what my vehicle needs for maintenance. Tried to get quote for oil change and schedule on a Sunday by email expecting a reply Monday. Mid-day Monday received an auto reply saying some one would get back to me "within a business day". Nothing Monday, or Tuesday. Replied to that email, which got rejected.Then got a pop-up on AAA website when trying to explore this to do a survey..answered all questions. No submit button.Don't waste your time with email and AAA auto service. I will quickly throw away future ads for AAA auto service.What a waste of time.AAA needs to remove the email option of communication from options as it appears it doesn't produce anything but an auto reply the following day. As I did not have an appointment, I arrived early. I was greeted promptly and courteously. I was prepared to be without my vehicle for the day however my vehicle was taken back promptly and to my surprise the service was completed shortly after I arrived back at my residence. Update to my review.I d still give Brice 5 s but the rest not so much. Got my diesel home and my sons car home and both have had significant problems that should have been taken care of while they had my vehicles. So after spending a combined total of close to $10k to fix the two, I m still having to shell out more money for repairs that should have been taken care of here! Truly disappointed! $15,000 in the hole, I could have bought something else!Never have I been so happy about spending as much as I did repairing two vehicles as I am right now. We picked up my sons Honda a couple weeks ago and Brice just reached out to let me know that my husbands diesel was ready to come home! I don t have anything but wonderful things to say about the service and care for our vehicles that we have been blessed with thanks to Brice and the rest of the crew at AAA Tempe! Brice has been super informative and keep me informed every step of the way and I am so grateful for all of his help! We just moved to Marana, but I will make the drive to Tempe if I ever need any vehicle maintenance or repair for sure! Thank you Brice & crew for all that you do!!

I have been to this location a few times now. I love it. Its near my work but I will continue to use this location. The customer service is awesome and they do a great job. These guys are miracle workers! My Equinox went from 20mpg to 28mpg after a replacing the fuel injectors. Great job!!!!

Very customer oriented team. Took my broken can right in and schedule for fix next day. Parts were an issue but got handled.
