Four days after buying my 2011 Corvette, I received a Service Electrical System message. I dropped it here for two weeks and they produced a left headlight bulb replacement for me. Not even five minutes down the road the same message came up. In this infuriating moment, I also noted my gasoline tank being completely drained with the gauge resting on the red E. I proceeded to take my car back to the dealership. After two more weeks with no update, I begin to suspect that the dealership may be taking advantage of my car by going for a joyride. I demand to see the odometer and gas tank level but they refused. Since this service is part of a vehicle sale, I apparently have no jurisdiction over the car I am paying north of $30,000 for.I may have just patiently waited longer, but they promised me an update on the diagnostic today, which they forgot about or did not bother to follow-up on. (update: it s been more than 40 days with my car in service)

I was told, bring your car in we aren t that busy. Saturday late morning. I called Monday morning and they hadn t looked at my car. I called Monday at 1:20pm and they state they re just now looking at it but have no information yet. I gave them the code of the issue and pretty much guarantee it s a failed Thermostat. This dealership seems to need better time forecasting and automation with their service processes. I am not seeing a reason to go back to this place when local auto places are more communicative and efficient. My friend who owns a Mazda said the local dealership had a quick walkthrough video assessment within an hour or two of him bringing it in. I don t understand why a dealership wouldn t prioritize the assessments so that the customer can have a better idea as to what s going on and make a decision as to what they want done. What if the customer declines the services after holding the car for 48+ hours.

I have been a loyal customer at Van Chevrolet for several years. However, my recent visit to your dealership has left me extremely disappointed, prompting me to bring a serious matter to your attention.During my most recent service visit, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Service Consultant Eric Sterling. I regret to inform you that his conduct was far from satisfactory. Mr. Sterling exhibited a high level of arrogance, was unhelpful, dismissive, and, in our interaction, he not only demonstrated a lack of courtesy but also made derogatory remarks. To add to my dismay, he abruptly ended our conversation by stating he didn't have time to deal with my concerns. As a customer who spent $6300 on the service of my vehicle, I expected a much higher standard of customer service. Mr. Sterling's behavior not only fell short of these expectations but also left me feeling thoroughly disheartened with the overall service.Regrettably, I am contemplating making this my final visit to Van Chevrolet. I believe it is crucial for you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against Mr. Sterling for his unprofessional conduct. Such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of your dealership.I sincerely hope that you treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and take the necessary steps to rectify this situation. I trust that you will conduct a fair investigation and implement corrective measures to ensure that customers are not subjected to such disrespectful treatment in the future.

Wouldn't recommend shopping for a car here. Been nothing but hassles, work not being done and causing damage to my vehicle after finally getting them to follow throughout a "we owe you" since the brakes were worn at time of purchases. After buying a 2022 hyundai tuscan, the salesman was supposed to call and set up my brake repair. Never happened. Spoke with a sales manager(patrick) and he assured me he would get me set up for Monday. Drove down there when he told me and no appointment made and no parts ordered. After Kosta(services manager) tried telling me I shouldn't even bother changing the brakes when I drove down there, I insisted I get them done. Since Patrick refused to answer or return my calls after dropping the ball, I spoke w/ a general manager of sales and he rescheduled me for the following Monday and said he'd do a free alignment as well(should've been done before selling it to me). After leaving w/ my car, I checked the paperwork and no alignment done and they left me w/ some scratches and a deep gouge on my shifter panel. Hands down the worst new car experience I've had. Lies, work not done, lack of return calls, new damage... just an awful experience

I needed to get on here and leave my appreciation for Clint in the service department. My 2019 Equinox was giving me some troubles and Clint went above and beyond to help me get everything taken care of. He kept open communication with me, updated me on my vehicle and progress. This past year was extremely difficult and he has no idea the stress he took off my shoulders.Thank you again Clint

I dropped off my corvette stingray for an oil change at Van, then they called me and said my car was involved in an accident. Now it'll be months before I get my car back because parts for singrays are hard to get. That car will never be worth what it was worth before I dropped it off and I'll never get compensated for their error.NEVER trust them with your car, they will not take care of it.

I will never take my truck there again, $150 for oil change and they didn t check anything else. Didn t check differentials or transfer case and didn t grease anything. They said there weren t grease zerts, not very bright. Here s a pict of one in case you ve never seen one. What a rip off.

GM parts higher price at Van's Chevrolet Service department. They're charged me double price for Outer Ider Arm for 200 ea plus labor, separate charges for Alignment. Emptied my wallet.I asked why just say that's the dealer.

3/14/23 update. The Van response to this review is the same canned response they seem to give every negative review. They put the responsibility on the unhappy customer to follow up.*********The worst service experience I've ever had. Follow-up was non-existent. Even when I reached out asking for an update. Took mechanic 3 months to "figure out" what was wrong with my car. Then they ordered the wrong part. Got the correct part after 2 months & it did not fix the car. Waited 7 months for the part that finally fixed the car. Total repair was almost $3500. Total time my car wasn't working, 9 months. No loaner car, no help with a rental. I spent hundreds on rentals & then had to spend money on another car. When I got my car back it was filthy, the passenger door was chipped & it smelled awful inside. I will never do business with Chevy or GM again. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

I brought my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue in because no other shops in the nearby area could determine what was specifically wrong. After reading some reviews I was a little sceptical.I am very happy to say in my experience these reviews DO NOT reflect the staff and how they turn the gears of this service department.Ben Hyde in the service department is a perfect example of true quality customer service. He made my experience streamlined & personalized to where I am in life. This type of quality service is very hard to find & the team at Van Chevrolet know how to help & work with you for any & all problems.Thank you Van Chevrolet service!

The only positive thing at this place was my service representative Eric Sterling. In which he really did go above and beyond. I feel terrible how I acted toward him with my misdirected frustration. Anyway I bought a used 2014 buick regal turbo from this dealership almost 2 years ago. I purchased the extra warranty which the finance guy matt said it covered everything but electrical wiring and also got free oil changes. About 7 months later my car started ferling like the transmission was slipping. I took it back to dealership to be looked at twice in 2 months having to pay 172.00 per diagnostic and be told there was nothing wrong. Then i requested a new service representative. That when I met Eric Sterling. He treated me with respect and actually had my car checked. Turns out the engine needed to be replaced. I was without my car for a whole month. And had a rental for 1 week. Keep in mind everytime you take your car in it takes a week for this dealership to do anything to it. Anyway i got my car back end of oct 2022. Car still having small issue but not worth going back in for. Brought it in for oil change and alignment in march i think and turns out i needed no get 1 strutt. That cost about 900.00. Plus the alignment fee. Even though the alignment was done before the new strut was on it. Not after. Another week without car. Then I had to purchase a new key bc mine was falling apart. $ 250. Last week my car started acting weird and stopped working. Called AAA bought a brand new battery and the tech said my altenator was putting out very low voltage and that i should take it in to be checked out. So once again i was back at van chevrolet thinking my warranty would cover it. I was wrong. Another approx 900 plus diag fee and now some wiring issue. I've had to miss 3 days of work already. Been without my car for a week. Im a single mom and not rich at all. Other than Eric everyone other person I talked to there were very condescending towards women. This place also screens your calls and when there are problems they blame the client.I've spent way to much time and money on this car. Total scam on used car.

I had a great experience with Andrew Mathias when my 2016 Z06 had an issue. He was very friendly and professional. The problems were taken care of for a reasonable price. You can trust Andrew with any of your cars.

Want your car for a week for anything besides an oil change. They conveniently lost my car s warranty lol good thing I keep my documentation. Sketchy... Any problems with your car are treated as your problem and not theirs. They scuffed my brand new rims with the lug socket. No way to prove they did it, so learned my lesson and take pictures now before I bring the car in. Unhappily married to this dealership until my warranty goes up. Great sales staff, but avoid the service at all costs.

Gave them two opportunities, service and new car sales. Being overcharged is real at Van Chevrolet. Here's why:Only reason I went to the dealer was because I needed some warranty work. I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone, as they say. So the service advisor says I need to spend close to $1400 for my 30k service. And I'm like, that's a lot for what it says in my manual (book says check all fluids, replace wipers, and oil change and rotation). I say I don't understand why I need so much when he hadn't even looked at my car. But he said every fluid needed to be changed that he'd have to retourqe a bunch of stuff, and some super outlandish stuff I don't even remember. Not kidding. This threw up red flags and I just asked for the warranty work to be done. Immediately when it was only warranty work and they weren't gonna make any money, their attitudes changed. After leaving it there for 3 days (no loaner or rental car provided either), it was determined I needed a part and it would be 3 weeks. It's currently week 5 and they never called. I call them and they still waiting. Then someone hit and totaled my car on the highway and I went in to Van to shop for a new car (only because they had the one I wanted and there's a car shortage). They tried to rip me off on the new car side too. I got a way better trim for nearly 8k less than Van tried to charge me.I hate to think that it's beacuse I am a woman who came in alone both times, that I was a target for them, but it sure felt that way in both cases... Avoid Van Chevrolet unless you wanna be ripped off

I have been using Van service for 17 years. 95% perfection. When there was an issue they did resolve the issue. I own a small business. Today my batteries went bad. I needed my truck to be fixed asap. My service advisor for years John Morris really went overt the top for me. Thank you very much John!

Amazing service. I drove past five Chevy dealerships to come to this one. Ask for Tim, he will take care of you. Other dealerships you receive an uninterested service advisor.I had bad experiences with the other dealerships. One didn't even notice that the inside thread of the tires was gone, didn't notice the alignment was off, etc. Another didn't even want to waive the diagnostic charge and had inflated prices.Tim, instead, gives us a thorough inspection, doesn't push you on anything unless for safety. This is what should be expected from a dealership.

Van Chevrolet is the worst. They give such attitude. They don t explain what s wrong or how it got fixed or why running an update costs so much or could take a technician 1.5 hours to complete. Shouldn t they know if my Traverse needs an update and notify me? Shouldn t they know when I call them and tell them the problems I was emailed about what the problems and needed updates are? They are a scam and know it because you can t find out who is in charge to speak to about these concerns.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I came here with my company's fleet vehicle because the engine wasn't idling properly when cold. They said it would be ready the next day. My Service Tech called at the end of the following day and said he got new tires approved by the fleet management company without asking me first, and that the tires hadn't arrived yet. I asked if he could put the old tires back on so I could drive the vehicle (because the old tires were still fine), and he said they wouldn't have time that day because they were already closing, and that I would need to rent a car in the meantime, so I rented a car because I didn't have a choice, as I need a car for work. Three more days go by without a phone call, so I left AJ a voicemail asking for an update. He called back a couple hours later to tell me that the car was ready. I picked up the car and in person AJ said the real reason for the delay was that he ordered the wrong tires the first time, and then when the correct ones finally came in, another tech took them for a different vehicle.. This was why $335 was spent on a rental car. I soon realized that they didn t balance the tires properly so the car would vibrate a lot when on the highway. I had to bring the vehicle back to them to get them to balance the tires, which took another 4 hours. I will not go back and will gladly drive across town to avoid this place!

Do not use this dealership to service your vehicle. Took my new car in for no sound from the radio/stereo. Needed a new amplifier that had to be ordered. took two weeks to get the part and another week to replace it. Tried contacting the service rep several times to get updates but would never return my calls. Even contacted the service manager and the same results. Complete lack of any communication or reason as to why it took so long to repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The service here is not the standard of Chevrolet service I had before. The technicians are incompetent. It takes them multiple times to figure out one simple problem, sometimes just let you drive back without fixing the problem, although you still pay for all. All they want to do is to make small parts changed first and then tell you one of the major parts is broken, so you need to pay both at the end. The workflow is chaotic. They let you drop your car and leave it several days unchecked for various excuse.

Called to schedule a service, was told it would need to be in for about 3 days to assess the problem before I explained the issue. Asked for a loaner since they immediately quoted multiple days in shop and was immediately told no. Should have known not to call this location considering the sales team tried to sell me on different vehicles when I stated exactly what I was looking for a year ago anyways. Clearly incompetent all around.

Won't be returning.I booked an appointment for my 2019 camaro. When I arrived I was told it would be free because it was the first one on the car, only 4000 miles.I watched the tech drive my car full speed over a speed bump and bottom out the car.Drove the car home and got a call from the dealership. They informed me that the oil change would not be free. The free oil change expired in 2019. I didn't want to argue and gave my credit card info over the phone. No price was quoted.Later I checked my account and was charged $146. Price seems very high especially unquoted.

The service person Kevin was great. However the overall quality of leadership and decision-making is awful. Every time there was a car service there was always a hassle...the practice of sending customers to an hour or more wait while they figure out their own process is such poor customer service....never ever will we buy a car at Van again.I feel so sorry for their Frontline people..they have such poor leadership....Such poor business practices....unreal.

Good service. Always polite. I did not enjoy my last service person that receives the car, he seems rude, but the service at the place is alright. I wouldn't use them except the warranty stuff grips you by the, you know what I mean.

I have traded with VanChevrolet for 18 years and have been been very pleased. I recently was most fortunate to deal with Ron Daly in the purchase of a Manager s Special Certified Tahoe. He got me a very good fair deal. He also aligned me with a assistant Shannon he made sure I was totally satisfied with my purchase and even called me a day or two later to verify my satisfaction.Spence then Shannon has followed through with my service satisfaction.I have 8 grandchildren and I will send all to Ron or his brother Scott for their future vehicle needs. Thanks Van Chevrolet!!

I have been going to Vans for years and have been very happy with the service and John Hale who I always work with. Sure, it's a dealer service center and it probably costs a little more, but it's clean, well staffed, on time, courteous, and honest. That works for me!

Went in for my first service @ 6 months with a whopping 800 miles on my new 2021 C8 Corvette. No matter what, I still feel Van's Chevrolet has the most qualified Corvette technicians compared to all of the other Chevrolet dealers in Maricopa County, and I've visited all of them.Services: Transmission, Car waxing, Oil change
