Bought my tires here and had some service done as well. Good service and quality work. A few months later got a nail in a tire that they fixed at no charge. Employees were considerate and helpful. Highly recommend this store

Amazing service and very nice staff. Replaced a bent drive shaft and put new tires on my 4Runner in one day. Christian also helped me put new valve cores and caps on my Jeep at no charge. Fantastic!

Chrystian went above and beyond for me when I had an urgent need to have my Tesla serviced. I called ahead of time because there was a time constraint and he advised for me to come in. When I got there he not only was able to help me but did it with such class! I told him I had to write a review about the service I received!

I don't know who I just talked to but he was the rudest person I have ever talked to. I was trying to figure out what tires were on the sale and he was beyond rude!!!! Attitude every step of the way. I don't have the vehicle with me as its my husbands, and he asked what size the tire is and I told him I believe its a 19 inch and he responded by saying well how about instead of guessing I go out the the vehicle and actually check. Its Monday after a holiday. I get it, you've been busy. That's no excuse to be a rude jerk to some who WAS willing to pay for tires at your location. I will never recommend this place and I will tell everyone I know not to go here. You can reply and try to make it seem like its my fault, but he was rude from the moment he got on the phone. That is absolutely unacceptable. I've worked in customer service and that was possibly the worst I have ever dealt with.

Recently had a foreign object in my tire detected while topping off the air levels. Was able to get two news tires with all eligible discounts applied completed in 90 minutes. Great service and friendly people at the Scottdale location

They treated me like an old friend. Did the work that I stated and payed the amount they promised. Christian runs a great shop. I have found my local car repair shop. E. Sahurao Dr in Scottsdale is the place you need to go is you need your car repaired.

I have had great experiences at this store numerous times, but my last visit was exceptional. Chrystian (sp?) was over the top in helping me resolve my problems with a fair price and an excellent resolution. Was pleasant and easy to work with. Mechanic was excellent but unfortunately I don t have his name. Thanks

I am typically not one to post bad reviews, however, I would advise not taking your car to Pep Boys if you would like to save yourself a huge headache and damage to your car.I took my car to thai Pep Boys location in January to have the spark plugs replaced. The tech/manager said that the spark plugs were stuck so they had to take my engine apart. In doing so, they damaged the engine so badly it couldn t be put back together (see photos). The tech and manager (Chad) tried to claim they had no idea what happened, but metal doesn t just break on its own and the engine had never been taken apart prior.We ended up having to have the car towed to a different shop who, after assessing the damage, said that the entire engine needed to be replaced. A dealer came to the same conclusion. After weeks of going back and forth, Pep Boys did finally agree to pay the $3,800 to replace the engine, but we were without the car for 6+ weeks. Pep Boys did get us a rental car for about half of that time.I did appreciate that they made it right after we pushed them to, and paid for the repairs, however I think there is an extreme lack of expertise and accountability if an engine is broken so badly it needs to be replaced during the simple task of replacing spark plugs.As a side note, something that was particularly frustrating is that this location is terrible at answering their phones. It just rings and rings and rings, no answer. While the car was not running due to the damage they caused, it was VERY difficult to get ahold of anyone for status updates. We also were never contacted by anyone at corporate or a district manager even though we requested repeatedly to speak with a district manager. Their corporate customer service is as a joke- they have hours long hold times and send emails stating management will reach out within 48 hours...but no one ever actually reaches out!Like I said, save yourself the headache and broken car and go somewhere that is more professional and has more expertise!!!

Greedy and time waster ! I called to get my brand new car serviced for 8k miles they quoted the price 89$ they got make model year etc details over the phone and also confirmed I can use my 25% discount so it will be about 70$ totalI booked the appointment , took it the time off the work and met the same guy Christian whom I had talked over phone. Now he says it will be 170$ plus taxes because it s a brand new car. What kind of full synthetic oil costs this much ?? Why this came up now when I had already shared with them all the info on the phone about the car , I had to walk out as I was not prepared for this kind of double price and didn t know he will play this game. I will had to look for a fair priced shop and skip this neighborhood business. So sad and bad !!Avoid this place that practices unethical practices and is trying to get more bucks from you. Don t trust the quote they give you over phone as it changes as you walk in.I went to Jiffy Lube just .5 miles from there and was happy that they honored the price that Pep boyz had promised that s 89$

I've come here three times in the past two months to fix my low tire pressure. Each time they said either nothing was wrong, or theyve fixed it. Even though about an hour later each time, the Tire pressure light on my console lights up again and I can feel my tire is softer.I've wasted too much time and money on these people to try to get it fixed with them again. They didn't even tell me my tire was flat until I went to a Discount Tire and got it checked out. The people at this PepBoys are either lazy, incompetent, or just want you out the door so they can move on to the next customer.Follow-up: Not even 24 hours after coming here to get my tire repaired, my tire blew out completely (see photos). I swear they did more damage than good to the tire likely. I will be taking my business any other place to save myself time and hassle

The technicians at Pep Boys are wonderful. I have been going to them for years for my car service, new tires, repairs, etc. They are efficient, knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend using their services!

Joshua is THE man. Top level customer service coming from someone here who has been in the industry for +10 years. This is all before I even got my service done. I haven't asked for more technical work quite yet but I trust these guys. Recommend this shop over something like Brakes Plus, Greulichs or local your dealership. Happy Customer.

I received great service in every aspect. Chrystian runs a tight ship and got me in and out in a timely manner. They got back to me quickly with diagnostics and list of needs in order of priority. He took time in explanations and negotiations. Felt like i was well taken care and got a great value. Chrystian went above and beyond to get me all that I needed. Thank You!

Seriously great service! Ask for Kurtis or Blake. As soon as I arrived, they greeting me with a great attitude. Loved that they had comedy radio on when I walked in too .

How unfortunate! March 25, 2019 10 AM Monday. I am a seasoned Lyft Express driver and I thought I was getting in oil change at this location. How unfortunate they refused my service. They mentioned I have to go to the Pep Boys location where I originated the contract with Hertz car rental. I m My opinion they refuse rental vehicles So they don t have to deal with paperwork or PO s. I will never come to this Pep Boys location. However I am forced to only visit Pep Boys for servicing Hertz car vehicles.

I happen to have called a Pep Boys location to confirm that I had an appointment as I never received a text from them confirming my appointment when I called them they in fact told me that I did not have an appointment when in fact I had to call days before that to make it so I called one store and they couldn't guarantee they could get me out before I had to be at my showroom and so I called this store at Shea in Frank Lloyd Wright and they told me to come right down and they could get me in or squeeze me in and in fact they did get me in and out within 30-40 minutes with my lifetime warranty. They never pressured me to buy something else or to get another service and just for that mere reason I will be going back to them I truly genuinely appreciate them getting me in and getting me out so that I may get to my Showroom on time.Thank you for the good service.AJ

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Car was dropped off at 10AM for a routine tire change and then an added on alignment. Four tires, balanced and mounted. Should take about 2 1/2 hours, give or take without any other jobs, so let's say 4 hours and I was not told of any time issues or constraints. Add the alignment, again someone good and nothing else going on 40 mins, but let's say 1 1/2 hours. We are now saying 5 1/2 hours. I arrived and they welcomed me and drove my car right to the back. Weirdly driving by at 2pm the car was now back out front. I called in at 2:24PM and was told that the car hadnt been started yet due to the tires being picked up from another location and their ONLY tech is on lunch. That is funny because we specifically ordered those tires to be delivered to this location and have the confirmation of their arrival prior to this appointment. Mind you, we ended up getting completely different tires than we ordered but that isn't the end of it anyways. Something worth noting, we are the ones to call them to get updates as opposed to the other way around and sadly, each interaction did not lead to much, so we continued to wait. Moving on then, at 5:47pm, the picture below was sent to me and as you can see, the car finally has wheels off. Calling at 6pm lead to someone, either B**** or C*****, telling me, "well, we only have 1 tire left to do!" HA! Forty minutes later I show up to see the car STILL on the lift with two tires/wheels off! But by sheer chance, they finished right away and my car was done. Come to find out after all that time they didn't even do the alignment. He said the car did not need any adjustments. Huh. Wonder what took the 8 1/2 hours then. What took the cake was he had the audacity to tell me they completed the tire installation in record time, thats a joke. Also, what a joke of an establishment and a real pity to the neighborhood that has this Pep Boys as their closest automotive care center. Not telling you to NOT to go there, but be ready to be put in the dark, waste an entire day and wonder if you have to spend that same money, or more, again to make sure they didnt mess up something this routine.

Tim was so helpful today and went above and beyond for me!After having a terrible experience with the Bell location, Tim and the Pep Boys team were able to get me in and out for a battery replacement in under 30 minutes. So grateful for their help!

We were driving back home after a month long RV trip and our truck overheated in the 120 degree temps. We took it to Pep Boys and were treated so well. They let our dogs come into the office and gave us cold water. We were allowed to store our travel trailer there while the truck was repaired. They kept the business opened while we waited for our ride to pick us up. Our truck was ready when promised and overall they turned what had started out as a very stressful experience into a mere bump in the road.

A patched tire isn't a huge job but I just had to leave a review to thank assistant manager Joshua Hansman for his friendly demeanor and above-board honest assessment of what work was required here. Clearly Pep Boys knows the value of excellent customer service. My thanks to all at this location.

My faith has been renewed in customer service! Had an issue with a rental car, and Chrystian, from 11479 E Sahuaro Drive location) did everything possible to help resolve the issue. He even got on with the rental company with me to make sure I do not get charged. I will not be going anywhere else!

Chrystian went above and beyond for me while I was waiting for my oil change to get done. It s already hard waiting around for an hour and he made it fun and worth while. On top of that, my allergies were killing me and he brought me tissues and water and even gave me some advice on how to control them better. Most see it as a common courtesy but I don t know how many times people would just give me looks for my uncontrollable sneezing. He actually took the time to come and sit with me and share some personal stories that made time go by faster & I learned lots of new things about my car lol!

I am very very happy with the service I got from Pep Boys. Christian and his team are outstanding. When I first brought the car in they initially said I need a new brakes and I gave the OK to have them done. After they looked at them again they realized I did not need new brakes and they called me and let me know. I commend them for their honesty. They could ve put new brakes on and I wouldn t know the difference. But they are very honest people and the work is done right. Thank you again for great service and honesty.
