Not sure what to say. We have been small fleet customers for years. Our last "appointment" lasted several hours; we continued seeing other customers coming in to be serviced after our appointment, so not sure what the appointment was really for. Now we have a camping trip planned. We ordered RV tires Monday and the Newport News Virginia store said they would order them that day, it is now Thursday, and the store stated they STILL have to order the tires from Texas. Perhaps they don't understand that we have a schedule when we travel and rely on appointments. Not sure why they can't get it together and just be honest. Additionally, they over-tightened a lug nut last visit requiring a replacement stud ($55) and replace my factory chrome air caps with cheap black rubber ones every time. Can they honestly "Get me taken care of"? At this point I'm not entirely sure.....

Discount Tires in Show Low is Awesome. We came in and was politely by greeted by Beau and Chase. They asked how they could help us. We asked to have our flat tire repaired then have the spare replaced back under the truck and the repaired flat placed back on the truck. This was done at no charge!!!! They were extremely quick about it also even though they were extremely busy. There was absolutely no push to sell tires even though we are going to need tires soon. Chase looked up a price for tires per our request. This dealership is awesome and as soon as we can afford to replace the tires we will buy them at Discount tires because they are AWESOME!

Discount tire has completely lost their way. Have literally purchased several dozen sets of tires from them over the years, but have had it. The salesmanship has never been more slick (and several at the front of the store are still great), but the work is volume-focused and utterly careless. Recently had them work on tires and rims for a classic car--they first put the weights on the front with the whitewall (which the ticket expressly stated to avoid so as to not damage the paint (not to mention the chrome beauty ring won't go on with weights located on the face). To add insult to injury, they also scratched the rims that had just been color matched to the vehicle. To their credit they reached out to clear the bad survey review, but then said the remedy would require a corporate claim, and wanted to know if I still cared to proceed (read: this is a hassle for the store, so will you just go away). Decided to get it sorted myself on my dime as it's abundantly clear they are just about slinging tires and not serving customers anymore. So it goes, another great company falling before our eyes. As I've recounted my story to colleagues I've repeatedly heard similar horror stories--guess I'm late to experiencing their collapse. No one in Scottsdale seems to care. Just sell rubber...

Bought set of tires for my van. Had to bring back for rebalance in less than 1 week. Used discount credit card. Got bill on 2/6/24 sent payment in on 2/7/24 synchrony bank. Funds removed from my bank on 2/12/34. Got a late payment notice in the mail today 3/7/24 not posted to synchrony until 2/24/24. I don't know what is going on with that but I am reluctant to do business with discount tire again. There balance job is not to be rely on. Have been customer for 20 years. It's sad. They were a good co. Before no more!!!

Buying tires from them for almost 20 years but now I m done. They don t seem as concerned about customer service anymore, now they re more Interested in sales. I drove an hour and a half because the salesman said they would work something out with me, and instead when I get there all they wanted to do was sell me new tires with a minor discount back on a set of five star Continentals that had gone bad after 15,000 miles. And order to cash in on their so-called tire warranty, the tires have to be at 4/32 and not a smidge more, which I considered to be a dangerous level of tread. Who cares about them anyway? Discount used to have the best deals, hands-down, but now? I look around my city and I see the same or similar prices as Discount on the same or similar tires everywhere. I live in a rural area and the difference in price sure as hell isn t worth the drive or the gas. Walmart is everywhere and they have decent deals on top-of-the-line tires. I have a plethora of other complaints about them that span the decades, but this is the final one.

Superior customer service with options to match safety every single time. I needed 1 tire but they found a reasonable price for me to get 2 new tires which alviated my stress levels. I trust the team members expertise and I never feel like someone is selling me something. I went to the location on 99th avenue and lower buckeye and it was extremely busy nonetheless the staff worked vigorously to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. Other stores have gone above and behind several years ago when I had an issue with my battery. I'm not sure what the culture is internally but it's definitely contagious.

Long discussion about Discount Tire this morning and I had the chance to tell an old story.....Discount Tire in San Jose, California helped me with defective tires on a brand new 1982 Chevy Step-side, because they were flawed. Discount Tire replaced them for free... and they weren't even their tires. Years later I was in Reno, Nevada and had a tire issue. Though their corporate headquarters were in Reno... they had no stores in the state. Errantly, I went to the Discount Tire headquarters thinking they were a store and just seeing a office building I went in to see where there was a store at. They said they had no store in the state but they sent me to a local tire shop to handle my problem... and they covered the cost. Since 1982 i have never, will never, and shall never go to any tire store other than Discount Tire. 42 years of perfect customer service....

If you re a Lady You already know you re a target when you walk in! At 9751 Eastern in Paradise, Nevada. I spoke to Cruz before I arrived I had a nail in my tire in the middle of tread AAA already put the spare on my car before I arrived at discount tire. Cruz and another gentleman came out to take a look. They both came back with my tire after they took it off the rim with a tire full of shredded tire dust I was like what these tires are brand new I just bought the car. Cruz and his associates accused me of driving on a flat or with low tire pressure which I would never do I found my car on a flat in front of my house immediately called AAA had it changed! They tried to tell me my tire was unsafe then tried to sell me a $318.00 tire but I m a car person and I knew better! I asked for a manager Jeff came out after I called corporate on them right in their parking lot! Because they refused to put my tire back on the wheel correctly Jeff offered me the tire for 200 how is the price changing now if it s 318 it s 318 it s not a swap meet I finally got Jeff to put air back in my tire! I took it to be inspected at two other places and was told no problem the tire is good no need to replace it thank you Firestone!!! Crooks at this discount tire store they just messed with the wrong lady!! You should treat your customers with respect and not try to rip them off!

Very disappointed with their Bellevue WI. Store. Pulled in their lot with a tire going flat. Tires were purchased there with full road hazard warranty. Told it would be a five hour wait. Had to call AAA to come to their parking lot to change my tire, instead of offering some kind of express service to deal with it. My extended family have been dedicated customers of Discount Tire. You have lost all of our business for future new tire purchases. Plane to see they want your business when buying sets of tires, but don't bother them with a emergency report. Disgusting!

Worst experience ever the one guy out in the yard was very nice.I showed him my paperwork.I said I had just one tire to swap out.It was covered under warranty. The manager out there.It was like a little Muslimi. and the guy came over and said he has things to do.H. I said I have one tire.He was walking around so I asked him to change it. You said no, you have to wait.There are 10 cars ahead of you.I said I have to get back to my truck.It's on the side of the road.He's basically like not my problem. DT in Greenville SC - If they had 0 ZERO stars I would give a 0. Unprofessional, incompetent's, lack of Management responsibility to oversee services. Installed wrong tire on car. Took a week to get, was asked to confirm correct replacement 5 phone & calls 2 visits. Still a Unsafe incorrect tire was installed.

I have been a long time loyal customer of discount tire. I am from Indy and wanted to have new tires put on my mothers car who lives in Tennessee, I called her local dealer and had everything set up for her to just go in get new tires and leave. Josh W. salesperson #861 at the Rivergate, TN location was the WORST person I or my mother have ever dealt with. He was rude, uncaring, and just plain mean. What should have been a very easy sale and job turned into a nightmare. If you dont like your job find something else to do with your day.

I purchased 4 Michelin Defender 2 tires at the Discount Tire Store in Schaumburg, Illinois on 02/12/2024. Kyle Giska went above and beyond to assist me with my purchase. A Guy From Corporate Office Named: Christopher (Chris) told me over 2 weeks ago I would get a check because of the really bad treatment i Recieved at the Belvue Washington Location. They Kept My 16 lugs I paid for with My new $1,000 Rims. They kept them & Put Back on My Original RUSTY LUGS. Never Got No Check just the run around. I Am A 68 Black Female Who Was Took Advantage Of...Now I Have To File An Attorney Generals Complaint as Well as File A Complaint With BBB Today.

I usually go to this place for every tire need for the last 5yrs . But they messed up my car and won't make good on it.i bought tires in 2023 and went in for tire rotation and one lug nut was stripped on and they had to break off the stud. I asked the guy what now he said "sorry.they do sell the studs at auto zone . But you'll have to take it to a mechanic to fix it." The last time my tires came off the car was when I bought new tires from Discount Tire. Going elsewhere now, SUGGEST YOU DO TO !!!!!!!

Arrived at the Woodstock ga location at 12 noon. Was told my vehicle would be ready by 2pm. My vehicle hasn t been touched and it is 2:20. Being told 3pm. Will not be back to do business with this company ever again!!!!

have been a long time customer of this company, and spent a lod of $$ there. have usually had pretty good service with reasonable wait times; although that has changed for the worse in recent times. just today had a 2 1/2 hour wait to get fit in for a puncture inspection. sorry my puncture did not make an appointment with you ahead of time. never have had to wait like this at any of the other locations I've ever been to. always been able to get service without getting shoved to the side like this. only way anything got done was to get in someone's face and demand attention. open a new location around here Pronto if your service is going to be this bad at this store. hard to stay loyal, especially after spending as much $$ as i have with this company.

First I pay almost a thousand dollars for the tires which I'm fine with but then they tell me they only have 2 of them after being assured they had all 4 then lied to me telling me the tires had not come in yet when ordered but infact they had them on the day I paid then was offered a smaller tire and was told it's no different which is a lie I make your motor work harder and impacts your fuel will not be back to discount tire after 15years of being a customer

Discount Tire 8125 N Oracle Rd, Oro Valley, AZ 85704I wish to relate my recent experience, as a customer, at Discount Tire (DT). DT has been my go to company for over 20 years. Most of my replacement tires were bought there. Many stores, convenience, and good service kept me coming back. When I travel, and need tires or repairs, I look for a DT.A few years ago, I had new tires installed on my VW Tiguan. I drove about 300+ miles on those tires. I became aware of a foreign noise; kind of a low roar. As I was in Scottsdale, I took the car into a VW dealer and was told that was possibly a bad wheel bearing. Back in Oro Valley, I took the car to a repair shop. Not the bearing, but while the car was on the lift, the mechanic pointed out that the tires were installed backward. The special tread cannot work properly if directional tires are mounted the wrong way round. I went back to DT in Oro Valley, where they exchanged the tires for new ones.Yesterday, I called for an appointment. The person said that they were totally booked today but DT welcomed walk-ins . I went to the same Oro Valley DT with a Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) problem. The light was on indicating a low tire. I had checked the tires and they were properly inflated. The store was crowded with customers. The salesman found that the spare tire sensor was not working. Recommended that they all be changed due to the age of the car. I paid $325 and within an hour, they handed me the keys and said it was fixed. I asked if the light was out. Yes.I drove about 10 miles to home. Had a coffee and decided to check the tire pressure to see what pressure DT inflated to tires to. The left rear looked very low and had 11lbs. Two other tires had 23lbs. Two tires, including the spare had 35lbs. Only one tire, the spare, had valve caps.I hurried back to DT and explained the problem. They verified my findings and took the car right in and fixed the issue. I was told that the 3 valves were leaking .Observations:This weakness may be the Oro Valley store or companywide.3 new valves leaking is unlikely unless not installed right.Valve caps not installed ..this should be basic for a tire business. The employees are not properly trained or motivated to do a good job.Management does not follow up or check on the work done. A highly trained person should not let a job be complete until he signs off on it. This could be a serious safety issue. I see help wanted wanted signs that could explain some of the problems. But, this same lack of follow-up happened several years ago, before Covid, when my tires weren t properly installed.I sincerely believe that DT has too much business for the personnel it has. It should, also, look into making some changes in how it does handles its operation.John Roehm

I recently bought (2) set's of tire's from the 91st ave and Northern store in Peoria,Az. Warranty and all. Went back for a rotation service, and they wouldn't do my drivers side because they claim my suspension is out of alignment , and is bad due to a bad strut! So why would they sell me and install them if they it was bad to begin with!? Horrible customer service. I will contact corporate also.

Made an appointment to get 4 new tires put on. Was told they were in stock. 2 days later arrived to get my tires on and was told we don't have the 4th tire. They will call when they get more in. Almost 2 weeks later no tire and they have my money. Was always happy with them before but not now.

Discount Tire hired Fleet Response as attack dogs towards customers that file a claim against Discount Tire.Discount also has an in house attack squad ready to turn any issue around and (Discount) play the victim.One by one Discount will lose their Customers!They have gone wall st rogue. Gather your evidence andHire an attorney asap - make no statement to anyone at Discount Tire. They will play head games with you, without regard to ethics.Money is a good thing, the love of money is forever evil.

So, Sad this world has come to a Tire can t be changed without a computer. I show up to get my long awaited New rims and tires and the System is down and a signature can t be put in a computer instead of just a Signature on paper. I mean WTH is going on. My local guys are awesome but said from higher ups no work is to be done nationwide with out signing a damn screen. I ve seen 20 people turned around because of this advice to not help people because of a computer issue. What in the hell!

9/6 Show Low AZ. Purchased 2 tires through saleman. Specifically requested BF Goodrich A/T's size 285/75R16. After intially going to BIG O in Pinetop and was told they were currently out of stock. The salesperson at Big O called Discount to verify that they had the BFG A/Ts in stock. She was told by the DT salesperson that they currently had 8 in that size that he would put aside 2 for me. When I arrived at DT to make my purchase the salesman excused himself to "go in the back" to locate the tires. After 10 minutes he returned to say he had 3 in stock not 8. He rang up my purchase and advised me to return at 1730 to have them installed.When I requested a copy of my receipt he placed his hand over it and told me I would get a receipt once the tires were installed. When I arrived back to the hotel my Son complained he was not feeling well. Concerned for my Son I attempted to notify the franchise that I could not make the 1730 appointment time. After 8 failed attempts (unanswered phone calls that went only to a prerecorded message plus a text message) to contact the salesman to inform him of the circumstances and assure him I would be in early the next morning. When I went in early on the 7th, I was referred to a different salesman named Jeri though the previous salesman from the day before was available. After the tires were installed I was handed my receipt by the tire tech that brought my truck around.However when I arrived home 2 hours and 100 miles away, my husband asked me why would I buy Cooper tires when I knew all he used were BFG's. I was dumbfounded. So I phone the franchise and spoke to a Salesman named Jason. He said he'd "be happy to exchange the tires for the BFG's at a higher price. But he didn't understand the problem with installing the Cooper tires." I was not about to drive 2 hours back to their location to have the tires replaced!Now I'm questioning the whole experience: How 8 in stock,went to 3 in stock? The withholding of my initial receipt? The abrupt change in salespersonal and finally having tires I did not order, arbitrarily being installed on my vehicle without my knowledge or permission. In retrospect the whole transaction was sketchy, I feel I was the victim of a bait and switch scheme, and I will be filing a complaint with the office the AG in AZ.

I am being told my tires have dry rotted. I have only put 30,000 miles on 60,000 mile tires. The tires have been rotated here and are within warranty requirements. I should get 4 new tires if the tires were defective from the manufacturer. Why isn't the warranty valid? Discount Tire Corporate: Please contact me. I am in your system.

For years I have been impressed by the service and policies of Discount Tire. However, all of the good will and loyalty to this company ended when I had to provide my license plate number and phone number in order to get air in my tires. When I questioned the reason for this new policy, I was advised it was so the store could contact me later if there was some type of problem. When I expressed my discomfort with the collection of this information, I was told they couldn't make an exception because they would be written up since corporate was cracking down on collecting the information. So the company will lose out on future business and the individual employees doing the service will lose out on a good tip. And for what?

Been getting my tires for years at Discount Tire but I will never go there again. Long story short. Had 2 new tires and a rim put on the front of my truck. Apparently the tires were not torqued properly when put back on. Every time I turned it sounded like grinding metal. Put the truck in the air and could move the whole tire and rim back and forth. I was told not to drive the truck because it was way to dangerous. The manager at Discount sent out a tow truck and my truck was brought to a shop to have it evaluated and obviously fixed. Made sure they both had each others number so they could figure out what needed to be done. Two days later, I stop by to check on the progress. The truck needed 2 hubs and 2 rotors because they were warped from driving the truck for the couple weeks since getting the new tires. The owner said that he had left a message at Discount, but the manager was not calling him back. So when I got back to work, I called Discount. The guy on the other end of the phone says that " Jeff is no longer there". So I start to explain the situation and the guy says he will call me back. When he called me back he gives me Jeff's number because he is still working for Discount but has been moved to another location. WHAT! So I call Jeff and tell him what Sal told me and how much the truck was going to cost for me to get it back . Jeff now wants to know who authorized the repairs. Well obviously me because you didn't give me the correct number to be reached at. You guys were trying to give me the run around and act like you didn't even work there. I said "well why would you send a tow truck unless you thought something wasn't wrong?" I didn't want you stranded on the side of the road was his response. That's funny because he knew I was at work not on the side of the road. And its not like the tow truck driver gave me a ride home.These 2 new tires cost me $1354.00 . Now I don't think I asking to much for them to pay at least $800.00 of this bill for me. They could be paying a lawsuit if one of the tires would have come off while I was driving with my grandson in the truck with me. They need to pay attention to the guys they hire . These are families lives at stake here and for the managers to take things so lightly saying "if the tire was going to fall off it would have fallen off the first day" That pisses me off.

Made an appointment had time reserved, but it doesn't matter cause your vehicle doesn't get in on your appointed time. My vehicle finally went in when the estimated finished time was reached. Poor management

I dropped my truck off at Cave Creek and Bell discount tire to professionals to have my tire swapped out with new tires. Two hours later to pick up realizing wheels were damaged from install. They would not take blame for all four wheels being damaged. They had a unexperienced tech work on the truck. I ve had my vehicles here many times in the past, but none of this experience ever. Very unsatisfied customer at this point. You give your truck to professionals to have tires swapped out, And you get your truck back NOT the same way as you dropped it with them....With them not taking blame I will let the media know about it, if you have a nice vehicle not the place to take it to.....
