I have a secondary car that needed some work done before I sell it. The receptionist is terrible and should not be working as one. Tried to get an appointment last May and she was like I don t know you can come here. I took my car there and again the receptionist had no idea what was going on but thankfully Seth was there to help. He gave an accurate estimate and was very helpful. Seth took time out of his day to go through what needed to be done. I was fine with the estimate but Seth told me that he did not have the parts but someone would call and schedule something as soon as they got it. No one called and I travel a lot and as this car is not used it was not an urgency, till I was in town again. Called back this week and again the receptionist was rude. I was like what can I do to move forward and get the work done and she was like our labor rates have changed so I can t guarantee you anything and I ll ask Seth to call. I was like Seth already made the diagnosis and gave an estimate, can you not just update the labor rates and proceed. Also I don t care if the labor rates have gone up. I just want to get this done while I am in town so what are the next steps. She said I ll let Seth know and hung up. And guess what no calls.This is the first time I have seen a shop that does not want your business and is rude to you when the customer is ok with the charges and wants to proceed. Called another body shop and everything was smooth.Seth was very nice though and thank you Seth for trying to help

Have used them before and it worked out great. However, this time, they called me on Friday to say my car was done. I was out of town and couldn t come back until Monday. On Monday morning at 9 o clock I called to tell them I was coming to get it. They said All done, come get it. I ve been waiting 1 1/2 hours for my car and they didn t even replace one of the parts. Terrible service this time! :(

This body shop is top notch. I had my drivers door and fender repaired and painted here and you would never know it was done. It is hard to find a shop that can mimic original craftsmanship, but they do. Seth up front was a great help and my technician/painter (Steve) was AMAZING. I can t recommend them enough; it usually takes a bit longer to get on their schedule, but they re worth the wait.

Had a nightmare of an issue with our insurance company but we are so grateful that the vehicle was left in the hands of Classic Collison - Seth specifically. He constantly kept us in the loop with updates during the month that our vehicle was there and we really couldn t have asked for a better experience with, him all things considered. I have used Ric s 3 times all within the same year, just had bad luck with other drivers and a tire hitting me. Each time I was beyond impressed with the quality of work done along with the customer service. I wouldn t hesitate to come back and wouldn t go anywhere else for car repair. Thanks for fixing my Audi and Benz back to new.

I've now used Ric's twice for my Tesla, once for warranty work and recently for chipped paint from a door ding. Both times they were quick and did quality work.For my most recent visit they gave me a quick estimate and scheduled me for their next available appointment two weeks out. Their service was worth the wait. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and I got text updates throughout the repair process. When I picked up my vehicle it had a very minor scratch on the door and the manager immediately took it back to the shop to have it completely washed and buffed the scratch right out.Overall excellent service, communication, and work. No complaints at all.

My wife's front bumper was cracked from some road debris that was kicked up by the vehicle in front of her as she drove home from work. I brought it to Ric's Body & Paint and, within 5 minutes of arriving, Brandon greeted me. He asked a few questions and took pictures of the damage. I received an estimate via email in under 20 minutes! Brandon also took the initiative to contact my insurance company to make sure that its estimate was approved and sent to him in a timely fashion. He really went the extra mile for us. That's a level of service that you don't see enough of these days. It really speaks to the pride that he takes in his work.I was able to make an appointment for about a week after I took the car in for the estimate. I dropped the car off on a Monday morning and picked it up Wednesday afternoon. A little over a 48 hour turnaround!I HIGHLY recommend Ric's Body & Paint. An all around courteous and highly professional staff from reception to the shop workers. The quality of work was top notch. I could not be more pleased with my experience. In late August 2020 I was involved in a no-fault automobile accident. My insurance company asked me if I had a preferred shop and I chose Ric's. I don't think I had ever used them before, but somehow I knew the name and was familiar with it. Turns out it was a great choice.My first connection at Ric's was with Lisa, their receptionist. I had sent her a detailed email the night before my truck was supposed to arrive on the tow truck. She emailed me back within an hour of opening and let me know they had received the truck already and had received claim details from my insurance company. Off to a great start!A couple of days later, once my truck was ready for a repair estimate, I was assigned to work with Brandon Loring. I was able to meet with Brandon in person and he told me there would be no issues fixing my truck, and that he'd be in regular contact to update me. He followed through! Whenever I reached out Brandon would promptly respond, and he also proactively connected with me to give updates. He was awesome to work with and instilled confidence that my truck was in great hands!Overall the work took between 3-4 weeks, which seemed very reasonable considering the damage. The quality of the repair job was amazing! I have a customized/upgraded truck and really wanted it to be treated well. Ric's is very experienced in dealing with a large assortment of vehicles, including those on the nicer end (Porsche, Corvette, etc.). I don't yet have a long-term idea of how the repair will hold up, but I am confident it will remain in perfect working order. And they offer a lifetime warranty!If you need repair work done to your vehicle, or need to choose a collision repair center for your insurance claim, PICK RIC'S!!! You will not be sorry. I couldn't have been more pleased with Ric's. The customer service and the work that they did was top notch! Lisa at the front desk greeted me with a welcoming smile and friendly disposition. Dean was also great to work with in getting the estimate done in a timely fashion and was able to get my car in quickly to get the work completed. When I picked up my car, it was completely clean inside and out - looked like they practically detailed it. I would definitely recommend Ric's for anyone that needs body work done on their vehicle.

Stopped by at Ric's Body and Paint Shop to ask about the bumper on my 2012 car that was hanging off on one side. The manager said he would take a look at it. He could either replace it or try to fix it with extra strong glue. We went for the glue. Looks Great!!Thanks Ric's!! I'll be sure to use your service in the future and recommend you to my friends. Update 6/15/22: Original work was done by Ric's Auto Body, not the current owner, Classic Collision Scottsdale Airport. It was discovered when washing my car at the dealer that NO primer was applied to the bumper when body/paint work was done by Ric's Auto Body, causing the paint to fall off "like paper." So, my review does not reflect any criticism of the owner of Classic Collision.Update 5/28/22: took my Lexus in for service 1 year after front bumper & hood repaired/replaced. When car was getting washed at dealer the paint on front bumper that was, I had assumed been done right at Classic Collision, fell off like "sheets of paper" per dealer. The bumper was never primed before painting! I sure hope the same does not apply to the hood on my car. Very disappointed to hear this. Buyer beware! Original review March 2021: If you want the job done right go to Ric's Body and Paint. Great customer service and attention to detail. My car looked brand new. Highly recommend.

Nothing about the aftermath of an accident is fun...but thank goodness for Ric's! They took the lead and had everything from a rental car, insurance contacts and approvals completed within hours of my accident. They kept me informed throughout the process and stayed connected with my insurance company. They work was PERFECT. My car looks NEW. It's nice to know that one of our locally owned family type businesses is this great. Thanks to everyone for making a bad situation as good as possible!Service: Body & Trim

Recently had our vehicle repaired at Ric's Body & Paint after hitting an object moving on a freeway. I have used them 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years. I dealt with Dean Slaughter, manager. The work was superb and finished on time when Dean said it would be ready. Dean did an excellent job during the week it took to repair the car to communicate with me about how the repair was progressing. I could not give a stronger recommendation for Ric's Body & Paint.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Someone clipped my car's back bumper driver's side which scraped some some paint away. I dropped in at Ric's. I requested a quote and someone came out to my car, took a look and printed up a quote for me within 10 minutes. Called and made an appointment. Quick and easy drop-off on a Monday. They said repair would be done by Friday. Received a call on Tuesday letting me know car was going into paint and would receive another update call as things moved along. Received call on Wednesday afternoon that car was ready. Just over 48 hours after dropping it off! I called them on the way to pick up the car. They had it waiting for me in front, washed and beautifully repaired. I would recommend Ric's in a heartbeat because of their professionalism, great communication, speedy service and great results!Service: Body & Trim

I am so very grateful that I was referred to Ric's by my insurance agent. I got rear ended in my brand new car before I made my first payment. I was so worried about finding the right auto body shop to make my car look new (since it was). Geico was great and allowed me to choose the auto body shop which made the search less stressful. It was overwhelming when I started researching since all the reviews for these auto body shops are all over the board. I'm so glad I made that choice to go with Ric's, they were great at communicating and did a phenomenal job on my vehicle! The car looks brand new again and was done in a very timely manner. The technician stayed in constant contact with me and was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. After such wonderful service and great workmanship, I will use Ric's for all my auto body work. Thank you Ric's auto body!

I found Ric's Body & Paint listed in the Carefree/Cave Creek Community Guide offering quotes with no appointment necessary. True to their word, I stopped in and was able to get my car looked at very quickly. The service was friendly from the moment I walked in. I came in thinking I would need to leave my car to have a fender repaired and they were able to clean up the scrape on the spot. I highly recommend this shop as knowledgable and professional and will definitely return in the future if needed. They are also a USAA recommended body shop.Service: Body & Trim

I will never take my car anywhere other than Ric's after an accident or anytime I need work done on it. They are extremely nice and professional. They also do top notch work and communicate with you on a regular basis throughout the process. I recommend them to friends, family and even strangers on a regular basis.

I had several quotes to fix my car and Ric s was booking the furthest out, but they re definitely worth the wait! From Lisa at the front to Shane giving me my quote to Jerry overseeing the work in my car they were all awesome. Jerry called me a couple times per week to update me and my car was completed when they said it would be. I had them fix an extra small dent and when I called to request they look at it (since I forgot at my estimate) it was easy for Lisa to get Jerry on the phone so I could describe where it was. That spot was fixed too! My car looks great and was even cleaner inside and out vs when I dropped it off. Thank you to you all!

Ric's was helpful and nice, but very efficient. For better or for worse, I had never had to get body work done on a car before, so this was a new experience for me. The people at Ric's were helpful, walked me through the process, and never once condescended to me. They were accommodating to my scheduling needs as well. Additionally, they got my car back to me really quickly (less than a week), and the work was superb! Really top-quality: my car looks amazing. This is important to me because my car is also my forever car because I like my car that much. I will go back and do business with them again, for sure.

Ric s Body & Paint is without question the only Body Shop that I have used that does paint work so perfect that I can t tell that my SUV was vandalized on multiple body panels. Dean Slaughter: the owner is the sharpest and most pleasant and interesting person that I have met in a long time and his staff and technicians reflect over 44 years of perfection and reflect his personality and leadership. There is no reason to go anywhere else where standards are much lower and the reality is the larger corporate owned body shops get away with the lower standard results because the insurance companies find ways to cut corners and those companies buy into that philosophy but that is not the case with Ric s. They deserve a five star plus rating. The pride of a mom and pop business is evident in every discussion and seamless response resulting in the most perfect workmanship possible where you just can t tell anything has been done different than the original paint work and that is why I will always use Ric s!Sincerely,Richard SollamiServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Their service levels are pretty slow, they haven t completed the repairs on scheduled time, when they said QC was completed, they ripped all trim pieces and tried to pass the Job as completed.

This place is not trust worthy. They lie and indicate incorrect information. I had a convertible, and after repairing my bumper after 30 days. They advised me they can't repair my window or know of any one to do the repairs. I picked up my car today with a broken back window. Drove an hour away to a shop to repair the back window, come to find out they had sent in the estimate to Classic Collision!!!!.yesterday!! I'd like to know why they would lie to me and the insurance company about this. Lazy and unprofessional for them to even tell me that they don't know of any shops to repair a convertible top!

I highly recommend Ric's Body & Paint Shop. I recently needed some body work on my Hyundai. I picked it up yesterday and was so pleased with the results. The work was perfection! The staff was very pleasant and very professional. If you're looking for a body shop, do not hesitate to take your car in. They are the best!

I had an accident with my car May 28th, brought it in to Ric's Body& Paint shop and within 7 days had my car back looking like new.Ric was very helpful in getting it done and even doing more than the insurance paid him. He has a great personality and does fine work on reconstruction of cars that need his help.

This was my first experience at a body shop and was highly recommended by Scottsdale Tow Truck Co. Ric's Body & Paint provided me with an amazing experience from when I was greeted by Holly to when the work was completed and Shane showed me his work, which by the way, looked amazing. They called to follow up with me throughout the entire process and was honest about the turnaround time. The customer service at this company was outstanding! I am very pleased with my experience. The best in town, I love the way my car looks after a tree hit my windshield and hood and the inside of my car, I took my car to Ric s and honestly the staff is respectful, courteous, and keep you up to date with phone calls. I really appreciate them , specially Linda, Brandon and Ray they are so caring, they worked really hard to get my car ready. I live more towards the NW side of town yet chose to use Ric's in North Scottsdale based on their reputation and a referral. Their estimate was comparable to another I had received from a shop suggested by myinsurance company.I was the victim of a hit and run in the middle of the night while my vehicle was parked in my driveway which left me stuck with the deductibles and hassle associated with such a surprise.I did have to wait a month before they could schedule my repair, however, this was an indication of how busy they are. They would have been accurate to the minute as to how long the work would take had it not been for my insurer; they dragged their feet and were less than responsive with approvals which added a couple of days to the one week time frame I was given.I particularly appreciated that Ric's excelled in what appears to be a dying aspect of business; communication. Dean and the crew kept me apprised of their progress from day one. Calls are handled by humans, a refreshing departure from automated systems. That said, I had no need to contact them once they had my vehicle as they stayed in touch with me.This was a lease to be returned in about 6 months and an entire fender had to be replaced so I was very concerned about a paint match. Dean assured me that it wasn't a problem. The match was spot on, the repair virtually invisible.My van was returned clean and ready to roll.I would recommend Ric's for everything from customer service to quality of work, as well as cost, in a heartbeat.
