Go somewhere else.I have worked with Scottsdale VW in the past. They were great. This was not the same experience I took my car in because of a filter light as well as my check engine. All I wanted to know were the issues with my car. They quoted me with $5,000 in repairs/maintenance that I needed. I asked what will get my car back to 100%? I will just address the rest at a later time when I can pay it (College student with more than a car to worry about). It was an expensive part + the service. About $1,500.So I went on amazon and bought the part for $80. I tried to repair it myself, but like I said, there is only so much you can do as a college student with limited tools. I gave up and took it in.I told them, again, I only wanted to get it back and running again so just the part and the minimum service. They told me that I would get my car back on Monday at the latest (I dropped it on a Thursday) They ordered the wrong part which pushed the completion date back again. I checked in every day and it was the same story. After a full week without my car I reached out explaining I either need my car back fixed or a rental. I had already taken PTO because of their fluke not mine. They told me it was ready for pick up. thank goodness . OR SO I THOUGHT! When I went to pick it up they told me that the regeneration that they had charged me $400 for FAILED . Oh but I still have to pay it? Sounds good. I ll pay for a failed service! I painfully paid them thinking my car would be fixed AT LEAST! No. Not even close. My check engine light was on, my filter light, and glow plug light were still on. They left an empty plastic water bottle in my car (normally I wouldn t care but after all of that!?) The outside of my car was FILTHY. It s never dirty, I clean it often I dropped it off clean. You have a damn car wash attached to the service center!!! Put it through it!Especially after paying $1,500 for an empty water bottle, lost hours at work, and a free mud bath.My car still does not work. I drove it off the lot thinking it was going to reset. It never did.Anyway. Would not recommend coming here, really for any reason until they can figure out their service department.

This service department is the worst! All they care about is money forgetting it s the customer that s having to pay it. I ve had to get my car fixed there several times and each time and I ve had to bring it back for either for the same issue that wasn t fixed or a new issue as they claim it to be just to get more money. One time I brought my car there for air filters and had to bring my car back at least 3-4 times because it wasn t put back together correctly. Funny how they tend to forget about those times and the gas, time and how inconvenient that is for a customer. CAMELBACK VW service department as well as Frank the manager really need to take some customer service and communication classes because the customer service is also trash! Instead of compromising they want to milk you for every dime they can. Run from this place, they don t care about their customers!!!

WHAT? that s why i made the appointment? so they spent 4 hours doing what exactly? do not come to this service department they are absolutely horrible.

I have never wrote a Google review in my entire life, but after my experience at Camelback VW Service yesterday, I felt this was necessary. On 1/28/23, I brought my 2019 Jetta in because my brakes were making this rattling/grinding sound when applied as well as for routine maintenance service. I mentioned this online when I scheduled the service as well as made sure my service advisor, Chris Park, was aware of the issue when I dropped off the vehicle. Upon picking up my Jetta, Chris stated there were no findings as to why my brakes were doing this nor did he hear the sound himself. After my appointment, the brake rattling/grinding continued. Yesterday, 11/17/23, I brought my Jetta in again for the brake sound and routine maintenance service. My service advisor was Myles Spivak. Again, I mentioned the brake issue when scheduling the service online as well as made sure Myles was well aware I ve been experiencing this issue since January and have previously come in for it. Upon pickup, Myles just told me how much I owed and didn t mention the brakes issue. I had to be the one to bring it up. Myles stated no issue was found nor did he hear the rattling/grinding sound. My mom was with me and asked if the brakes were inspected and stated she has owned multiple Audi/VW vehicles and has never had this issue. Myles response was extremely dismissive and he snarkily said if she really wants, he can quote us for new brakes, but your car doesn t need a brake replacement. I (very kindly, I m not one to get upset) said I m going to take a video of the brake sound so I can come back and show him. Myles, again, snarkily said you can do that . I paid for my service and got in my Jetta parked under the service awning. I drove forward 10 ft to the stop sign and unsurprisingly, my brakes made the noise it has been for the past 11 months. I would of gone right back in, but Myles was already in such a rush to get me out of the building since he had finished my vehicle just before their 6pm closing time. I m genuinely concerned about my vehicle and how VW refusing to fix (or even acknowledge) this issue while my vehicle is under its 6 year warranty could impact its resell value/lead to expensive repairs down the road that I will be forced to pay out of pocket for. I will be continuing to research and seek out answers for what is wrong with my Jetta, but I will most definitely be driving the extra miles to go to another VW dealer to avoid Camelback VW.

Not sure if I caught Chris from the the front desk on a bad day or what. But, Wow! Very useless. He makes you feel as if you're bugging him for merely coming in for service. Unprofessional and extremely lazy. If you're having a bad day, go home. If you are hungry then eat. Whatever the case, keep it professional at work.

I have been a customer of Volkswagen located on 16st and camelback for about 5 years now. Today I experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. This is a place where I'm suppose to feel its safe and trust worthy to have my car fixed or have my questions/concerns addressed professionally. Instead I was in a hostile, defensive and unprofessional environment. Frank Cheyney, the service manager, was not professional. His facial gestures, body language and tone of voice, yelled out defensive and hostile behavior. He would not let my family member complete a sentence and he would speak over him. When asked certain details regarding my vehicle Franks answer was you can take your car somewheres else if you want. At one point, almost in tears, I had to voice to Frank how uncomfortable he was making me feel by his behavior. When asked the name of the general manager Frank said we dont give the managers name out, Im the one you speak to ,I call the shots.

Have a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta I needed the motor mounts pressed in I was told that I have to tow the car there let them press it in and finish the job myself and I would be charged $280 got a plastic PVC pipe from home Depot drilled it out and $100 press from harbor freight and just did it myself. These guys were ready to charge me $300 for what would amount to half an hour I am a mechanic and understand about charging for my time but these guys go away to far one and only experience with these guys never coming back.

They don't listen to women. I called in about some issues with my new car. They argued with me and I wasn't even able to make an appointment. I even have a recall and that didn't seem to matter. I wouldn't use this place at ever again. So rude and arrogant. Sad thing is I bought my car there.Edit - I got a call back from the service manager and he preceded to yell at me. So that tells you how much they care.

Called in for a service, was told by a young lady that they "NEVER TOUCH TRANSMISSIONS UNLESS THERE IS AN ISSUE". Called another shop because that sounded wrong and they tell me my transmission is supposed to be serviced every 40k and "can't believe the dealership didnt tell me". So I call the dealership back, I'm told I "need to speak to an advisor" and I'll get a call back. Never got a call. Called back and spoke to Chris and he tells me that if I get a vehicle with 60k a transmission service that my transmission MAY FAIL WITHIN 5K because I "missed my ideal interval". This is incredibly alarming as I have had TWO SERVICE APPOINTMENTS since the recommended interval for servicing the transmission and no one from the dealership recommended any transmission service. I requested the manager Frank and his response was essentially "everyone you spoke to at my service department was wrong, there's nothing I can do for you except schedule you an appointment". What a DISASTER. HOPE YOU ALL LOSE YOUR JOBS BECAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO EFFING CLUE WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

Great warranty service experience. Called me with updates as they diagnosed my issue. Also facilitated a Lyft to get me home and back for pickup. All around good experience.

The service department is very unprofessional. Rude service advisor. They need to take customer service classes or go observe the VW dealer in the west valley to see how things should be done.Services: General repairs & maintenance, ElectricalServices: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical
