This is my second year using Unlimited Breaks and Auto and they have shown the most integrity, honesty and helpfulness. They give so much value for a great price! I have taken my Prius to them several times and every time they have successfully fixed the car with genuine dealership Toyota parts and given me a warranty. Chris helped me figure out that I was under a warranty for something instead of trying to charge me to fix it. Very honest people. The front desk woman, Cordae, was also very helpful. I know nothing about cars and I appreciate that they didn t take it vantage of that! highly recommend! five stars!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair

Buyer Beware $This place overcharged a family member $400 for AC tune-up. AC went out again the very next day.Unlimited then gave a quote for $1452 to repair just the AC hose.But we did research and found a very reputable shop who was able to do the same work for 1/3 the cost.** Try Joe's Auto 13239 N. Good at getting stuff fixed, and doing it promptly, but prices are pretty high, and in my opinion, inflated unnecessarily. As an example, coolant does not cost anywhere close to $70, which was one of the charges on my receipt after they replaced my radiator. Don't be like me, ask for a price estimate before they work on your car. If high prices don't bother you, they're great.

Great customer service and very friendly, but very over priced. Paid $550 for 4 brake pads to be replaced. My rotors were machined, but the brake pad that were put on, are the cheapest possible. Charges $330 for labor! That's insane! Again, very nice but won't be backEdit: Read other replies from this business to bad reviews...are we alll lying or is this shop just trash? I have zero reasons to lie on this business. I have receipts to prove what I paid and what service was done. They are clearly hurting for money so instead of getting a long time customer, they got a one time customer who will continue to post reviews about their overpriced services. I could dispute the charge with my bank so you can see the $550 charge back that you claim I'm lying about. Good luck staying in business!

Wanted to charge over $450 for a new battery and battery cables. Way over priced. Updated since they responded the way they did. Found the best battery on the market for $179 2 year warranty elsewhere installed free. Battery cables were also just fine and didn't need changed. So just another shop that likes to charge for stuff that doesn't need repaired. Love the response from the owner that's mad now since I rated them.

I've gotten my radiator replaced and both front control arms and an alignment and back brakes by them they got my repairs done in a timely matter and had great customer service now I'm going back for my front brakes tooService: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

This place is freaking awesome!! Walked in with broken a/c system an hr after they opened. I expected to have to make an appointment a week or so out, but they took my vehicle straight back AND only charged half the price quoted by other mechanics!!! My new go-to. And the entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Explain everything in simple terms so you can actually understand the problem and what they do to repair it. I'd give 10 stars if possible!!!Service: Air conditioning

Brought my car in to have the air conditioning serviced.I dropped off my car at the appointed time. They called me about an hour later with an estimate for the necessary work and I approved it. A couple hours later they called to tell me my car was ready.Excellent service.Big complaint: When I picked up my car, there were numerous grease smudges in the interior, on the door panels, seats, steering wheel, and shifter knob.

Super awesome service and will definitely be a return customer!I was looking to get my brake pads checked because they were getting squeaky, so I tried out a few places. First I went to Kerry s, and they found other issues than my brakes. (Just more sales tactics)Mike from Unlimited Brakes was so transparent. He told me everything I needed to do and pricing was fair as well.From the front desk staff to the mechanics, would highly recommend this shop for any car needs!

They were so friendly. I call a lot of places and got a lot of quotes. They weren't the cheapest but they were close and the way they treat you was worth the extra money. From now on any repairs I don't feel comfortable doing myself I will go to Unlimited Brakes. It's important to feel safe in your vehicle when you have family in your car. I'm not 100% sure but when I dropped off my truck my brake light was on and now it's not. That had nothing to do with why I took my truck in. I appreciate their hard work and how fast they did it. I can go on and on but so I don't they were great.

Unlimited Brakes and Auto Repair has been my go-to mechanic for a number of years. Today, they replaced a broken oil dipstick that had sheared in half and I was unable to remove from my car. They only charged me $20 for labor! In my experience, they are always honest, professional and reasonably priced. Alternator on my car was shot. I literally pulled into their lot and it broke. They were able to fit me in to get the alternator replaced even though they were short a mechanic that day and extremely busy. Staff took great care of me! Car was fixed and I was back on the road the next day. I plan to use them for my brakes very soon. Small family owned business. Strongly recommend! Great place!Service: Electrical

First off all the great reviews on here definitely lead us to calling ultimate brakes thanks. So I am from Colorado traveling through, My brakes needed to be replaced ultimate brakes got me in on very short notice. They are up front and very easy to work with. Made me and my family very comfortable at their shop. They got my car done ahead of estimated time. Mike was very awesome he takes care of his customers. On top of brake work I needed a tire rotation which he did for free. Also on test ride he washed car and tires. Excellent job done! Would definitely recommend to locals and anyone traveling through. Thanks again.

Stopped in to have Mike look at my brakes. They found the problem and had me fixed up with new pads in less then an hour. Price was excellent. Very nice people. Amber was very helpful. Very nice family business I will use and recommend in the future. Thank you for the excellent service.

They were extremely nice people, but I still did not have a good experience. The first set of brakes I got there (the lower-price option) caused some problems and actually were not compatible with my vehicle according to some other mechanics who later took a look at my car. I took the car back to Unlimited Brakes, and they took care of the problem without charging labor. But since I had to pay for a second (compatible) set of brakes after having already paid for the first (incompatible) set, the experience still ended up costing more time and money than if it had been done right the first time. I think they were just trying to give me a good deal, and I appreciate that, but it really wasn't worth the trouble it caused me in the end. I know other people have had great experiences (which is why I chose this place), but I don't feel comfortable recommending them after my own experience. I do not like writing less than stellar reviews for local businesses - especially when the people there are so nice. But I think it is only fair to do so in instances like this for the sake of others who rely on these reviews like I do.

I've known Mike and His wife Amber for over 15 years very professional I have learned a lot from them as well. I have taken my chevy tahoe their multiple times for some electrical issues, but Mike and his team always figure out what is going on I would highly recommend this shop.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Got a couple rotors machined for $10 a pop for a brake pad replacement I was doing. In and out 40 minutes tops. Rotors looked pristine. This place is awesome and not at all resentful towards the sort of people who prefer to do some of the work on their own. The technician even offered some advice on the type of pads to buy and how to clean the hub before putting the rotors back on. I will gladly come back here in the future if I run into any jobs I can't tackle on my own.

I had taken my car there with no idea of what was wrong. They ran diagnastics and let me know the options I had. They were great at communicating and were very helpful. Thanks to Mike the mechanic and Korday (sorry if spelt wrong) the office lady, everything was very easy and stress free. They did a great job rebuilding my engine! I take notice when a auto repair shop refrains from billing for a three-second adjustment. I also note when they give advice that has the effect of not wasting my money doing things that are not necessary. As a business, I appreciate they need to make money. And, I have no objection to paying reasonable prices. Unlimited Brakes gets the necessary repairs done and at fully acceptable prices. Avoid the "steal-erships" and take your car or truck here.

Quick, informative and friendly service. The mechanic said he just wants to make sure my cars running like he's want his wife or his mothers, no mess or hassle. A week or so after his Mrs even have me a call to make sure everything was still running smoothly! I'm going back to them this week to get my brakes replaced. Id recommend them to anyone.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The mechanic was very informative and for the first time (compared to other places with other vehicles that ive owned) I did not feel presured into getting extra things done. My options were explained to me and I felt comfortable making the right choice. I'll for sure be coming back for anything else I may need done on my vehicle .I highly recomend this place!

Went there to get my truck fixed, and these guys did a great job. I recommend this place, very knowledgeable on all aspects on your car or truck. Real friendly and work with you. I would recommend this place to my friend and family or any one looking for a good mechanic.

I was new to Arizona (here only a few months) i went to the store on my lunch break and pulling out of the parking lot the drivers side front end just fell and hit the ground! I didn't know what to do! A mechanic who just got off work (wish I could remember his name) stopped when he didn't have to...got me a tow to the shop...The mechanic (Ray I think) told me the problem and had it fixed for a very fair price by the time i got off work...i just took my car back today to fix other problems and again exceptional work!!! I will not take my cars anywhere else!!! Thank you Brakes Unlimited for being extraordinary, professional people! I recommend this place 100%...

We have used Unlimited for years for my Trailblazer, my husband's Ford diesel truck and my daughter's Cobalt and always feel like we are getting an honest price for honest repairs. They do not play any games and are truly interested in getting us back on the road as quickly as possible. Thank you!!

Ray and Mike are very professional auto mechanics. I completely trust them working on my 2 Alfa Romeo vehicles cause I feel and know their workmanship will always be done Right!Highly recommend.

Charged my wife $25 to test her battery. Also tried telling her that the battery may or may not be easy to get to, referred to it as being in the trunk. After a total of 5 minutes spent checking the battery and alternator, asked her to pay 32.99. When she complained, they knocked it down to 24.99, which is still ridiculous. She asked how much it would cost to replace the battery, and he said he knew he didn't have a competitive price, but looked it up and came up with $245. We will never return for anything based on this experience. They get 2 stars for speaking kindly on the phone and in-person.

Great staff, no overselling or overpricing. They are willing to work with people to get what needs done taken care of. Brakes are a fair price, however they will do just about anything. Mike the owner is very chill and treats his customers right. They provide great customer service and don't fool arouund.

I dropped my friend off to get their brakes done. Isaiah removed the tires. Showed them where the problem was before starting the work. Very knowledgeable and friendly. First time at the shop, they even stated they would call in a week to see how the car was doing.

Not the greatest experience with a shop. Came in was told their diagnostic fee was 90 bucks. 3 days later I get a call and I m told they figured out the problem which was an electrical issue and that they went on ahead and fixed it (without giving me any heads up) and suprised me with a 200 dollar bill. Also told me I needed a major tune up and that it d cost me 650 dollars just to change spark plugs!

I absolutely trust this place with my car, they help me with all my car and engine needs. They also install your own parts if you bring it to them! Highly recommended shop you won't regret it!
