Slow and ExpensiveI attempt to use local workmen and businesses whenever possible. I like the prompt service, a personal connection and the ability to negotiate cash discounts. So when I needed to replace a window, I contacted a local company via online contact form and follow-up email. I promptly received a text providing a reasonable quote and scheduling an appointment for a technician to come and take measurements in 8 days. I had a gaping hole in my window yet I was unable to effectively communicate my sense of urgency.As communications continued I noticed references to Universal Glass, which was not the company I had originally contacted. I did not learn until later that the company I had intended to contact was defunct and its prospective customers were now being serviced by Universal Glass - a company nowhere near me. This added to my sense of discomfort.When the technician finally arrived to take measurements he was unable to give me an immediate quote. Instead, I was required to wait for a call from the main office. The new quote I was given was significantly higher than the one I had previously received. The cost for replacing a 70 X 22 window was more than I had paid for a large double-pane, picture window only a few years before. I understand that inflation has affected prices on most goods and services, but it still seemed inordinately high. However, needing a repair as quickly as possible, and already having invested a week in the process, I capitulated.Seven days after providing a 50% non-refundable deposit I received a call to schedule the installation in 10 days. I m aware that the process of glass replacement requires time, but 24 days from start to finish for one small window is glacial by any standards. Ultimately, the installation went smoothly and the installer, Daniel, was a delight. But rather than contact me about how I wanted to pay the balance, Universal simply charged the same credit card used for the deposit without notifying me. What if I had been near my credit limit on that card? These are the kinds of problems that arise when you deal with some distant unknown entity rather than directly with the installer.While everybody I dealt with at Universal Glass was cordial and polite, the inability to receive prompt service, the inability to negotiate a cash price, and receiving an unauthorized charge all reflected an impersonal, corporate vibe that was not a good fit for me. But perhaps it will be for you.

Just had a chip repair done by Universal. They were fair on their pricing and kept me from having an insurance claim which is super fantastic this day and age they sent out Leon to do the repair and he was fantastic he did an amazing job kept me up-to-date on what he was doing and he also very kind because I was upset that this was my new car that I got two months ago and already got a rock chip and he just reassured me. It happens to everyone and not let it get to me and not have a bad day and he took care of my chip. It looks great I don t even know it s there.

Universal was awesome from start to finish. Robert answered all my questions, set up the appointment with ease and Michael expertly installed. They come to you (which is so convenient). Highly recommend to everyone, especially in this area.

I had my windshield replaced through my insurance company. Super easy scheduling process, as soon as I selected UG as my servicer with my insurance claim, I received a call to schedule my replacement within an hour. I was able to get an appointment in 9 days (related to the Thanksgiving holiday) and was given a time frame of 8-12 for service and told the technician would call en route. I did not end up receiving a call that the tech was en route, but because I was already expecting them, it wasn't too big of a deal. I also had to request for them to save a few parking permit stickers on my damaged windshield. My windshield was replaced in 30 minutes with the requested stickers fully intact and applied to the new windshield. Super easy process and highly recommend UG!

Had an issue with a window frame, not glass or replacement of an entire window. Hunted for quite a while, finally contacted Universal Glass. The customer service lady knew exactly what my problem was, recommended a probable remedy, and scheduled a service tech (Daniel) to come to the house (at my convenience).Bottom line; no parts needed, adjustments made, window slides up/down way better than before.Quality work done at a reasonable cost. I m a future repeat customer.

These guys were awesome!! They helped us temporarily remove and replace a large window in our restaurant so we could swap out our giant pizza oven. They were fun, friendly, and you could tell they really care about their workmanship. UG was fast, ontime, courteous, and professional in their work as well as reasonably priced. There were issues with my particular patio BUT UG worked to resolve the issue in no time and without price gouging. Incredibly easy and efficient windshield replacement. They were able to do it in under 50 min with still replacing my dash cam and insurance beacon in the proper spot. Great work and referring them for my fathers vehicle.

Couldn't have had a better experience with Universal Auto Glass! Alexander arrived well within the timeliness. He called 10 minutes prior to let me know he was on his way. Windshield replaced for my 2022 Honda CRV from a rock hitting it on the highway. I called my insurance on Wednesday and was able to get an appt with Universal Glass to come 2 days later. They gave me a time window and were here within 2 hours. They came to my house and replaced it in my driveway in 45 minutes. The serviceman was super nice guy.Next day another guy came and calibrated the windshield camera.Great place, would highly recommend!Service: Auto windshield repair

We called Universal Glass to have 2 windows repaired/replaced while in the process of selling our home. The office staff was wonderful, got us scheduled quickly, and had a technician out within days for a quote. The quote beat every other companies price and were the fastest for installation. Excellent service all the way around!Most people talk about the negative when technicians come to do work. Rarely do you hear positive. Well, I need to add positive comments regarding Leon. Not only was he extremely professional and courteous, but he is one of the best human beings I have ever met! I had the pleasure to have a great conversation with him while he installed our new windows, and he is AMAZING! His family is blessed to have such a wonderful man in their lives.Universal Glass is lucky to have him as an employee! His work ethic is the best! If there s a way to give him a raise, please do! I had an issue with the windshield replacement. My systems related to the camera did not work after recalibration. The windshield was a defect. I received a call from Robert who is the owner of the company, he personally made sure everything would be taken care of. Robert took the time to listen and addressed all my concerns. Robert exemplifies a level of customer service that is not found very often. His team did a fantastic job and all is well. I wish Robert and his team the best and much success. I will recommend them to everyone who needs glass work.

We experienced great service from Universal Auto Glass. Logan helped us out and she was fantastic. Although we haven't seen the completed work yet, we have nothing but the highest expectations for Universal Auto Glass. We will post an updated review after the work is completed. We completely recommend this business to anyone needing to process an insurance claim! They will work with you every single day that the claim is being processed and give you updates. Fantastic customer service!
