Can't say enough good about Orin and the crew. I needed driveshafts made for a custom Bronco and they knocked it out quick. Helped me with advise on which parts to run, and worked with me to make sure everything worked on a build using several custom/non stock components. I made a mistake in some of the information I gave them and he quickly made the repairs to ensure I could hit the event I was trying to get to. I would absolutely recommend. Great service, knowledge, and product.

The woman at the counter was exceptionally nice. However, the man she brought to the front to explain my needs was less accommodating.I explained that I needed to have the drive shaft on the left cut at the connecting unit, and adapted to the shaft on the right. (Pictured).2 cuts, one weld, and a balance. Pretty simple.I explained this to the guy (sorry didn t catch a name) and before I could finish he asked me: is this for a BMW or something? I said, well it s a Mercedes. Does it make a difference? Do you not balance drive shafts here?He then said: we balance here but I don t work on bmws, sorry I almost chuckled, and just came to the conclusion he didn t want to do the job.No problem, so then I ask: okay, well do you have a recommendation on another place I can get this done at? He said: there s only one other place called Phoenix rack, but their work is garbage .I simply replied with: gotcha, alright well thanks for your time and I left.Key things to note here:-This company DOES do driveshaft work. But apparently they won t touch a bmw.- I bought my driveshaft to avoid them having to do anything other than modifying the driveshaft itself.-it s a driveshaft, same concept as literally every single other RWD vehicle ever made.- Guy went out of his way to trash another company and couldn t offer any alternative solution.I don t think that was the owner, but perhaps one of his employees. I could have dealt with the poor customer serve and been on my way. But trashing another company instead of offering a genuine solution is what lead me to writing this.I m just a car guy looking to get something done that I can t do myself.Anyway. Seemed like w cool place if you only need general repairs on work trucks or something.The carbon driveshaft in the window threw me off seeing as that might be way more custom than what I m requesting.

Honest great work. I talked to Orin and told him my issue and he drove it about 100 feet and came back put on rack and said he thinks he knows what issue was. He took one look and said carrier bearing was mounted updside down, grabbed a wrench and fixed ASAP. Drove it and vibe was gone. Charged me a fair price and provided great friendly service.--Thank You and would recommend.

Despite the claims on their website about being able to "cover all your driveshaft needs and even build custom complete drive shafts for all cars, trucks, or SUV s. There is no job too big or small." they do not work on imports such as Audi, BMW, or Mercedes.

Was recommended from D&M auto who s right the down the street for these guys. Honestly, after speaking to them, I shared that my carrier bolt needs to be replaced and I like them to review the overall drive shaft. He shared that it may be 400+ if there needs driveshaft joints need to be repaired along with other stuff we discussed. I only ended up needing the carrier bolt replaced. I m amazed and appreciate they didn t lie to me about needing something I didn t need. I ll be recommending this business to others. Thanks TAD!

Orin is truly incredible! Rebuild both my front and rear drive shaft on my jeep with such an unbelievable price! Highly recommend, professional and amazing, high quality service! So happy i was able to find this shop!

Fantastic shop. Had a bent driveshaft in a work truck. They fit me in last minute and got me on the road. Orrin was awesome to deal with and prices were better than any parts shop. Highly recommend.

Because of alI the previous positive reviews I recently chose TAD to build a performance aluminum driveshaft for my Resto-Mod car. This guy knows what he is doing. I could not have found a better shop. Fast build and top quality workmanship. You won't go wrong using this shop.

Orin and TAD Driveshafts saved my weekend plans recently and I cannot thank them enough!Two weeks ago I took my lifted Jeep Wrangler to another recommended differential shop in Phoenix to diagnose a clinking sound from my driveline when shifting into drive. The Phoenix shop diagnosed it as a rear ring and pinion and provided a reasonable price and timeframe. When I picked it up the price had increased $200 dollars but I was still happy so I paid. When driving away, I had the same clinking noise and asked if anyone test drove it before telling me to come from Scottsdale to pick it up. No one did. The Phoenix shop owner offered a new diagnosis of rebuild of the rear driveshaft cardan joint. I was upset and needed my Jeep to get to work so I left. I will never go back there. Here's why.Orin agreed to look at my Jeep last Thursday afternoon. Once I arrived at this Deer Valley shop, he listened to the clink and guided us onto a lift. Within 10 minutes after I arrived he diagnosed several loose bolts connecting the rear driveshaft to the transfer case, tightened the bolts and our problem was solved.I spent my Sat and Sun exploring off-road AZ trails with two different groups thanks to Orin.Thank You TAD Driveshafts!

Had a bad vibration when driving 20mph+, my whole truck would vibrate real bad. Looked under the rig and found out it was my u-joint. Never been to this shop but dropped it off and they were able to fix it in a day and my truck rides good as new now. Friendly staff and they did not charge me much for the repair so I would say the pricing is on the affordable side. So far so good. I would come back if i have any further issues in the future.

Not a lot of good driveshaft shops around town. This one is definitely the best place to go if you're anywhere near North Phoenix. Very knowledgeable staff. And their turnaround time is quite good. Never had any issue with any drive shaft I brought to them.

Had a bad vibration on my dually . I took it in to get my u-joints replaced and balanced my driveshaft . Fixed me up pretty quick and they did an amazing job at it . Thank you guys ! I really recommend this place .

What a joke. I dropped my 1951 Chevy truck off on 10-17-2020 at 10:30am. Gave them all the info on the truck and listed the issues I was experiencing. I get a call back at 9am on 10-18-2020 and the woman on the phone stated that Dean did not want to work on it and they don t work on older stuff. I asked her did you guys even look at it? She said no and can you come pick it up right now? We don t have a lot of space. She said they tried calling me yet I have no missed calls. Unfortunately google will not allow me to add a picture to my review so I can screenshot my call log to show they never called attempted to reach me. Take your business elsewhere. The best part is Dean watched me back my truck in and also said hello to me as I walked in and dropped it off. At any point he could have said hey we unfortunately cannot work on your vehicle.

I am very pleased with TAD. Orin did a fantastic job again on my driveshaft. I had tried to change out the u joints myself and did not do it correctly and needed to have the shaft corrected and balanced. He did both and we are better than we ever were. It seems that the shaft went out of balance as one of the original weights came off. Some people just know what they are doing and he is one of those guys. All the guys and gals there seem very friendly as you can tell from the neighborhood style of interactions the other patrons share with them. It is an hour away from where I live but once you find people that are good and honest folk why chance it. Thanks again.

Best driveshaft shop I've found, other shops may be marginally cheaper however they don't use the same quality product or their attention to detail is lacking.I've had roughly ~4 driveshafts made up from them, for 3 different vehicles. All balanced, no issues, and high quality u-joints / welds.

I brought in my truck's drive line to have a new bearing pressed onto it. They had it done in an hour even though there were jobs ahead of me. It was affordable and they knew their business. Highly recommend and I will return. Thank you!

I don t usually do reviews but these guys are awesome! I couldn t even find another driveline shop to replace U-Joints on a RZR but Orin took care of it under $40! Now I even have a zerk fitting on my Driveline so I can service it.I don t know how they stay in business giving such great deals but I m a happy camper! I ll be back for all my driveline work. Companies like this are hard to find now days.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Orin and Tads! My parents came back into town and wanted to go on an off-road trip with me but needed their driveshaft rebuilt in their Grand Cherokee. I called Orin and he got it rebuilt and ready for me fast so they could come along. Top notch quality and great pricing is what you'll get if you call these guys. We put the driveshaft back in and went out and gave it some pretty good abuse. It held up flawlessly and my parents had a great time. Thanks again guys! I know who I'll be calling for all my driveline needs!
