The guys over at Phoenix AutoWorks are top notch! My family and have I have taken our work and all of our personal vehicles here since what feels like forever now! They have always come through, on price and time, there has never been an issue and they have kept our cars running, maintained and safe! Five stars for sure!

Top notch facility that is very experienced and will get your vehicle though emissions and also keep in very good touch and update you through the process. I was highly impressed with the knowledge they possess and the efficiency of thier work. I look forward to going back soon to also have a better muffler put on my truck.

Tired of dealer service writers who create work order for nonexistent problems for their bonus. Had a whole list of problems, the half were nothing.. What there was, Jim and the crew straightened out for us cheaper than the dealers quoted. No nonsense straight shooting and straight repairs!! Thanks for the excellent services!! I don t enjoy getting my truck fixed. But finding this shop has me feeling I will be taken care of in a timely manner. Trust is my number one concern and they have earned my business on more than one occasion.

Had a check engine light come on for a second time and took it in. Code showed a bad catalytic converter. They were able to find an aftermarket one and that saved me a few hundred dollars. Picked up the car today and so far so good! ThanksService: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I took my '06 Armada to Jim's shop, Phoenix Autoworks, after getting a quote from another shop. He was able to beat that quote. During the assessment by his mechanics other issues were discovered and I approved the work. After picking up my vehicle I am able to feel the difference the repairs made. I would recommend his shop to anyone looking for an honest reliable auto repair shop.

Update 11/14/22 - Once again I have received 5 star plus service from James and his team, the only mechanics I trust with my cherished 1995 Crown Victoria. Had already done the major troubleshooting, brought in OEM alternator, they made sure that was the problem & did the repair quickly. It s only been a couple hours since getting vehicle back, but work seems to be done correctly, fair pricing, didn t try to add problems onto the ticket. Jim is awesome! And super honest!We have always taken our cars to the dealership, but I feel like lately the dealership (Bell Toyota) are just a bunch of liars and try to do repairs that are unnecessary. He found the Freon was overloaded and brought it back to standard. And checked other fluids n oil for me and fixed my a/c. It doesn t have a whole/leak like Bell Rd told me would cost like $400 to fix!! What a joke! Excellent service and testing before necessary parts were replaced. Rates were very reasonable, and Jim kept me informed of test results as repairs were in progress. Jim always takes in account my work schedule and he will do his absolute best to get my car back to me quickly. He also replaced missing screws on my husband's car when he replaced our radiator. Yes Jim we noticed. Thank you. No good mechanic is cheap, but i don't feel i have ever been overcharged for the work he has done . As long as he is fair with us, he has our business

I brought my 1994 Ford Bronco in to have the steering gearbox and all steering components replaced. This is the first time in 30+ years that I've allowed someone other than myself to do any work of any type on any vehicle of mine. I recently had thumb surgery on my right hand, and being right handed was not up to the task with manual dexterity or strength yet, but I needed it done now. They did a great job, at a reasonable price, in a reasonable time. I would recommend them highly for the job they did. Thanks again Phoenix Autoworks!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've been going to Phoenix Auto works for just about 5 years when I had my 97 Mercedes sedan and helped keep it drivable for a few years. I returned after a few years with my 2018 Santa Fe Sport for a 30k service where I knew I'd get better value and service than the money grubbers at the dealership. Jim, as always, was professional and gave me a thorough explanation of what had been completed and answered any questions I had. I'm glad I found this great place on my first day in Arizona and the peace of mind they continue to provide for any of my vehicle needs.

Walked in the guy was smoking. Definite problem. Then they tried to get 2300 for an inspection that was not needed. I had taken my 01 mustang for an fuel tank leak and service last year. Repair was done and it was fairly quick. Recently took in my 95 corvette for service and for a loose clutch problem; Jim and the technicians are awesome and knowledgeable. They will get you back on the road quickly with there professional and speedy service.

As unpleasant that car repair can be I have found that Phoenix Auto Works was able to access the problems with my vehicle accurately and repair my vehicle in a timely manner. Over the last 4 years I have had all my regular maintenance performed at this garage. The owner James is a no nonsense guy who will charge the fair repair labor rate. Never have I ever felt is if I were being taken advantage of because of my situation and lack of advanced auto mechanical skills, Thanks to Jim and his crew for all the great service and keeping me on the road all these years.

I've been bringing my vehicles here for years. Jim is a great specialist that has a heart to do QUALITY work and never disappoints. He is honest, fast, helpful, and priced cheaper than anyone else. He knows everything about anything auto related. I recommend bringing your car here and letting his shop take a look at it. 5/5

I came to Phoenix Auto Works with an older 1987 high performance auto that had never been through emissions and failed with very high readings. After talking to James the owner, he felt he would be able to help me and explained what diagnostics he would perform. He gave me a very reasonable estimate. He perfomed the work and informed along the way what his findings were and how he could correct the issues. He is very knowledgeable and was able to determine exactly what the problems were, and fixed them. I was very impressed and my auto passed emissions with flying colors. I would recommend Phoenix Auto Works to anyone and am glad I found a such a great auto repair shop, it is awesome!

They always go above and beyond to help get your vehicle done in a timely manner and correct. Very nice people to deal with, Jim has giving me rides home or back to work when I ve dropped off my vehicles. I ve been taking all of my vehicles to James at Phoenix auto works for many months now ever since I got tired of my last mechanic Mr. Mighty automotive. My last mechanic overcharged me, gave me shotty unreliable work and would take days or weeks to complete simple fixes. None of this happens at Phoenix autoworks. James is fast, efficient, skilled, and very knowledgeable. I recently took my 89 bronco to him for a full engine rebuild and overall check up. He called me through out the process and invited me into the garage to see his work several times which gave me confidence in seeing his work first hand knowing I was truly getting what i was paying for versus elsewhere where you are charged for parts you never even get. James got the job done, he got it done quick, and he got it done right. After I got it back I drove my bronco and I drove it hard. It s never ran better. I will continue taking my vehicles to Phoenix Autoworks for every type of repair. Thanks James

We bought an old Suzuki Samurai from someone in Yavapai County (where emissions testing is not required). Came to find out that the emissions were off the charts. Jim rebuilt the carburetor and got the emissions under control on the first try. Friendly guy and reasonable prices.Highly recommendedService: Carburetor cleaning

I have taken mine and my sons trucks to Phoenix AutoWorks, they Have always provided great service. Jim the owner of Phoenix AutoWorks Is always right on with his estimates, he s been in business a long time and knows auto mechanics. I would recommend Phoenix AutoWorks to my family and friends along with anyone else who needs top quality auto repair services!

I took my car here to get an oil change . They were professional and courteous. While checking my car over they informed me that my CV boot was torn. We found out that my car was under warranty and that the dealership would fix it for free. They kept me informed every step of the way and were very informative about the problem. I found Jim and his employees to be nothing but courteous, respectful and up front. I will never use anyone else for my automobile repairs. I have referred my employer to Phoenix Autoworks and we are not using Jim for our fleet of 34 trucks. I can't believe that I was lucky enough to find an honest auto repair company.
