Do not buy anything off their website. Their customer service is horrible and so unprofessional. It s taking them two weeks and more just to not help my boyfriend with his order. My boyfriend has called them multiple times but for some reason they don t pick up when he calls but they pick up when my boyfriend uses my phone to call them like they re avoiding his phone calls. This place needs to be shut down or they really need to work on a lot of things. Also whoever Brent Morrison is he does not reply to emails.

They freshened up a 6.0L LS truck engine for me (LQ4). I had very low oil pressure and the middle cam bearing came out when removing the camshaft. This was a 300k mile junkyard engine that they saved the crank, stock rotating assembly and cleaned up for me. Runs great now and went into my 72 Nova. They will treat you like family. Bunch of great guys and I gave them the thumbs up to go through the stock truck heads with milling and valve job. No leaks, higher compression and its been great. Highly recommended for any work you may want to have done. They do it all from Jeep inline 6, iron dukes, ford big blocks, cummins diesels I have seen them all come through their shop.

Best shop in town for all you speed junkies out there. Whether it s routine maintenance, dune preps, solving problems with your sand rail that no other shop could, dyno tunes for more power and performance, or just a local place to buy your race fuel and other accessories at an affordable price I trust these guys with it all. I ve even referred my friends and family for transmission rebuilds and simple cosmetic upgrades like powder coating and custom machined parts on their high end sand cars. This is the kind of local business that you can build a relationship with and eventually turn into your friends. Next project will be bagging my new C8 Corvette with Universal Air and Air Lift Performance s air ride suspension kit. Quality workmanship combined with excellent customer service is very hard to come by these days!

Went into this place and the guy approached me with an attitude.Said he doesn t use any parts for machining but his.I wouldn t use this place if they were the only shop left. I believe spending extra for a crate engine or new block would be better than trusting this type of thievery seems to want to bank on his own mark up than to use your new parts from another source ..I m actually giving this guy a big thanks for showing his true character when I walked in the door.Shady place stay away!!!!!!!!

I did not do a one star because I believe that would not be fair because I did not use them. I reached out this company about a month ago and talked to Richard about fabricating a twin turbo kit on my Tatum Sand rail. He asked me all the specs so I gave that to him via email. I called every week but the guy that I was suppose to talk to, Brent was never there. He does sound like a busy guy which I understand. I finally talked to Brent who told me he called me so many times and could never get a hold of me, , but no messages. Well he said I would have a quote at the end of the day, nothing. The next day he called back and said he lost all my specs on the engine so I emailed everything back to them, no quote still. I finally received a call right now explaining that they can t fabricate twin turbos on a sand cars but I can supply the parts. No problem, so how much would that cost, I asked. I done have that yet . Just does not sound like they are organized enough for my business. I am sure other people probably have had a better experience but thought I would share mine. Waste of my time.

My first and last transaction with these guys. Made an online purchase after speaking to a employee who told me they had the tires I needed in stock.Waited days to get a confirmation on the order and a tracking number. The tracking number didn't exist in the UPS system. After multiple phone calls to them and Getting the run around for 2 week's I asked for a refund. I'm low into my third week and still no refund or any type of communication from them about the matter. The only communication was when I called them to question the transaction.Would not recommend them at all.

Bought a pair of Mickey Thompson tires through them over a year ago. When received and mounted/aired up the first time under proper pressure, the sidewall bubbled out immediately. I have emailed numerous times, provided pictures of the tire, multiple times at multiple stages. Provided all requested numbers on the tire. Waited months and months. They stopped responding and left me hanging. Was never able to use the tire and had to purchase another at my expense due to their lack of customer service and integrity.

I had been wanting to do a cam swap on my Corvette and bought complete kit from here and a converter as well as a Holley low ram plus more supporting mods. I was planning on doing the work myself since i had always wanted to build my own car. Realized it was very time consuming to do everything i had bought for the car, to do myself on my days off from work and decided to have them finish the project for me. Got it done in 2 weeks as they had told me and I appreciate all the updates they gave me whenever i called to check up. Both Brent guys are cool guys and I am very happy with the end result. I would recommend Outlaw to anyone looking to have their projects finished and I am in love with how the car turned out. Thank you for taking in my half done project and completing it! Services: Clutches & transmissions service & repair, Auto engine tuning, Motor building

From the first call Brent helped me get a better turbo at a better price! Then a boost controller and let me know the injectors I have are fine for what I m looking for rather than upselling something else. 10/10 recommend and will be ordering more parts with Brent and outlaw.

The two employees by the name of Brent very nice young guys and and have good customer service. Unfortunately I have to change this review a little bit, it turns out they weren't able to get the nitrous bottles filled correctly and may have actually pump liquid air and you have to be careful of this, these guys are young and may not know this but if a cylinder that they do a siphon with is low it can pump liquid air in because when I made my first run with the bottle they filled the car was popping and banging I switched over to another bottle I had filled from a while back and the car ran perfect so it has to be a problem they did.

This place was a complete waste of my time. They showed us around to wow us on what they have and what they do. We were simply looking for machine work and parts to build our engine. They told us that they would work up a quote and Email it to us the next day. Well after a few phone calls and a week later we got the quote. They charge top dollar for their machine work and it may very well be worth it but the parts were more then I could buy them from Summit or Jegs for. I bought the parts myself and saved money from their quote of the parts. We will never consider them again or refer them to anyone.

Dropped off my head in May of 2018 to be refreshed. Jason recommended I do a Crower valvetrain which we talked about but never committed, my heart was set on Supertech. Next thing I know, without a quote or authorization he does a full Crower build on the head. No quote, nothing. Meanwhile I had left a block with him to check out options for pistons as it was a rare block from Japan. After a year it was determined that no pistons could be found and I requested the block back but was given the runaround. Come to find out the block was left outside in the rain uncovered and rusted completely. I picked up the block today and it showed blatant signs of rust removal, not to mention the pistons are siezed to the cylinders and will not turn. This is the quality you get from outlaw. The owner doesn't care about your money, it's all a contest to who has the biggest shop to him. Their quality control is non existant and they have lawsuits open against them at the moment. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this shop unless you want to suffer the wraith myself and others have.**UPDATE 2023**Never ended up getting my head back, was given the runaround. Ended up finding it for sale by Outlaw on Facebook marketplace. Messaged the person asking for my head returned and they deleted the post and blocked me. 5 years later and still shady as ever. This place will never change. Thankfully I took a screenshot of the ad for my attorney.

Keep pushing date back. Second time using and they are horrible at giving you estimate when it would be done. Had 2 different occasions where they told me it would be done one day then that day comes along and they need another day and so on and so on. Once for some heads and another for some injectors.

Took a head to get rebuilt by them a few months ago, feel like I overpaid but figured it was for quality reasons so went with it.Took my motor to be assembled at a closer shop, went down there and they showed me the glass bead left in the head I had built here, it was in all of the channels, and pretty much in almost every hole. Had I ran this head my motor would be toast.I called and they said bring it down for them to clean it but to be honest if it was this carelessly cleaned I rather pay the other shop to do it and show me each step of the way then trust them a second time and risk something else going wrong. When someone pays a ton of money for a head rebuild, do a superb QC on it before it leavesthey did offer to fix it, but it shouldnt have left like that for the price I paid.I have photos

Have had some bad experiences with another local shop that assembled my motor. Outlaw race engines went above and beyond to correct the situation and gain a lifelong customer. They will be the only ones working on my car! Top notch service, and fantastic clean work! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

It absolutely baffles my mind that this shop went down hill very quickly, I looked at there reviews about 5-6 months ago and they had 5 stars(must have been friends of the owner). When I brought my evo x head in about 8 months ago I talked to Brian the import expert he told me they work on evo heads and blocks all the time. I came in to get my head ported and polished as well as have my valve lash set correctly. I was told it would be a thousand dollars for all the work and it seemed like a fair price for what was supposed to be decent work. I was also told it would take about a month to do all the work. So I said go ahead and do the work and keep me updated on the progress. 4 weeks or so passes hadn t heard anything from them about the head, I wasn t to worried cause I was trying to figure out some other stuff with the car and the head was the least of my worries at the time 6-7 weeks pass I called and was told the head had not been worked on because they got super busy and we re short staffed and that it was next to be worked on and to call back next week. I called back next week and no one knew The progress at the head and Brian was out of the shop and he would call me when he gets back, a day passes and no call back so I call again and talk to richard (aka mutton chops) he said he was sorry for the inconvenience and would get to work on it right away. After 2 months of calling and telling them my head should have been done they finally started working on it. I got it back a week later and thought they actually did a decent job (little did I know). I get back to the house start assembling the block and head and then put the timing chain cover on and the bolts don t line up! They shaved 34 thousands off the head when it should have no more then 8 thousands off the head. I went into the shop and told them they took way to much off the bottom of the head and they refused to fix it, mutton chops said they never measure the head height before they start grinding, like it s the customers responsibility to measure it?? mutton chops proceeded to say that a thicker head gasket will fix the problem and be just as reliable. I want a full fix not a band aid.If I could leave a 0 star review I would this place was supposed to be the best engine and head machinists in town. They refuse to fix there mistakes and have horrible customer service as well as work ethic. I have tried multiple times to get them to fix the mistake and they refuse and just tell me a thicker head gasket will suffice.

I bought a jr.dragster recently, and needed to get some safety gear. Jason took care of my order, beating the competitors prices. He said my order would be in Wednesday and it was!. Allen at the main counter had it ready to go when I arrived. Thank you Outlaw for keeping or Jr. Driver safe and being quick.

my truck was in this shop 8 months for a procharger I called to check on the progress and they said they are having a hard time getting the procharger brackets to fit and they were going to send brackets back ( keep in mind that the owner Jason Smith had talked me into the procharger because they could install it so easily) . So when the brackets finally came back they say it still didn't fit so now they gotta go "custom ".Outlaw had took it upon themselves to build the motor anyway they wanted to. Every time I called I would get no response. When I finally went up to the shop I found out they took out my ac compressor and switched it with another. If they would have kept me in the loop I could have told them leave the compressor alone because it will void my vintage air warranty. Since they seemed to be keeping me out of the loop on the build I thought they were gonna fund it to. After all they were avoiding my calls and adding "custom " parts and subtracting parts etc. When I finally get the truck back ( 4 months later at this point) the ac doesn't work and there's a huge chip in my door. When I initially dropped the truck off we did a walk around taking notes of existing bumps and bruises. Long story short they said it was already there ( which it wasn't) and they did not honor the form we signed off on. The chip on door was not on the form simply because they did it when it was in their possession . At this point I'm happy to get away from them so i take it as a loss and leave immediately. These people were not trying to pay or admit to their mistakes.I leave the shop and a mile or 2 down the road my truck feels stupidly odd. Its shifting late at times then shifting early then eventually it's not getting out of 2nd gear. I get the truck towed back to the shop and they charge me to build up my 4l60e to a beefed up 4l60e that can hold more power. Weeks later I pick up the truck drive it around for a day or so and the same symptoms begin all over again. This time it left me stranded on the side of the road at 8 in the morning. I called the shop as soon as they opened. I explained to Shammy my situation, how I was stranded in the Arizona heat due to outlaws faulty work again and he said he would send a tow truck. 6 hrs later tow truck shows up and I'm nowhere to be found because I had to call another tow truck since Shammy wasn't answering my calls. I figured this foo forgot about me or plain out avoiding me.When I got the truck to the shop, they called me days later and said they didn't know what's going on with the truck and the transmission. Then they call around to a few other shops and find out theres a 2 bar map sensor that needs to be added due to the procharger forcing air. So now I'm understanding why my transmission blew up 15 minutes after they realeased the truck to me the first time. l didn't even get a chance to get on it while i was on the freeway because the truck was revving way to high and ended up blowing 2nd and 3rd gear due to the map sensor issue. I blew my first transmission due to outlaw not adding the correct map sensor due to their ignorance and inexperience. They are on social media acting like they are the top dog and dont even know the basics. How are they a perfomance shop and blow 3 transmissions before finding out a solution. This shop is the definition of fake it till u make it. They are not ready. They are inexperienced, they are unprofessional and have many tricks up their sleeves. At the dyno shop they blew my motor but before I would find out Jason Smith wanted me to sign a waiver saying it's a huge possibility that the motor could blow and I couldn't go after him. Long story short I didn't sign so my motor was fixed. If I could've gave a review with zero stars than I would've.

Took my car in for a dyno tune. Was told belt was slipping. Took it back after belt was fixed and tuner said my motor was hurt and couldnt get car to idle/ not stumble due to my injectors. Had another shop compression check and leak down motor and motor was fine. They retuned it and car runs amazing now. This place acts like they are the best and are far from it.
