This place is friendly and helpful. I took my bike there 1 yr ago and was very impressed with them. But a week ago I went in to get something done and they were closed. Heard they went out of business. So sad. Now to look for another good shop.

I needed to have my bike inspected as it wasn t turning on. These guys were willing to stay a bit after closing to make sure the tow truck was able to get there and drop it off. On top of that they inspected it right then and there and gave me their honest opinions on the repair when the could've just lied to make a quick $. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating and when ever I have issues with a bike Open Road will be my go to. 10000% my go to recommendation. Amazing service!

I went to go see the guys to install a keyless starter on my 2002 Indian Scout. I was hesitant because the last two shops I went to said that the keyless starter I bought (Digital Guard Dawg) could not be installed on my bike because of the Thunder Heart starter and Joker Machine parts I already had on my bike. One of the shops even tried to charge me 20 hours labor for "trying" to install it. So you can see why I was hesitant. Well they where all wrong! Rob and Jeff started working on it and the biggest problem they had was fixing what the last shop did to my wiring. These guys are beyond great they took the time to really understand the issues and make the thing work. I'm really happy I went there. They where friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. They even bought me a beer. I was also impressed to find out they are both Veterans. So, a shop that is friendly, honest, patient, and has two highly skilled Veterans AND buys you a beer. I don't know how it gets any better. Go see these guys before they get too famous they are new to Arizona and I think are going to do great things.

In the past 18 months I have had 3 Harley Davidson motorcycles serviced by Open Road Cycle Works. I will not have any other shop touch or work on my bikes. Coach and Rob are the best! Hands down they are the best! Their prices beat any other shop, their customer service is excellent. They are very personable and will speak openly about your bike, its needs, options, and cost. Recently I referred a friend to Open Road for work on his bike and he was able to save more than $1,000 over taking his bike to a Harley Dealership for service. Greater then even that, my friend ranted and raved about how cool these fellas were with him when discussing all aspects of the services and parts. This is an A+ Harley Shop in my opinion.Services: Tires, Engine repair, Oil change

A great shop, great service, and a great team. Rode my bike in from Dallas and after arriving I pulled up needing something properly torqued down after having to perform a roadside repair. They took my bike straight to a lift, gave me a token for a beer next door, and had me ready to go rather quickly.Pricing is on point as well, they also love veterans.I will definitely be taking my bike there for any maintenance beyond my current skillset.

I took my motorcycle here for an oil change and these guys were great. I am new to riding motorcycles and they were super patient with all of my questions and made sure I understood everything that they were doing they also taught me some things about my bike that I didn't know. Also they gave me options for different types of oil and didn't try to make me buy the super expensive stuff like the shops do when I get my car oil changed. They got my service done quickly, and also made some adjustments so my my bike stopped making a noise that I was worried about while they were doing it. They also adjusted my shocks so it rides better and did not charge me extra.I highly recommend these guys and will definitely be going here for getting my bike serviced and any other work I need done on it.

After owning my Road King for a few years, and it never quite running right, I took it to Open road at the advice of some friends. I couldn't have been more surprised. Immediately, they knew I had tuning issues, and started digging into what had been done to my bike. To my surprise they discovered that the previous owner had installed a big bore kit, without any of the other needed modifications to make it run correctly. They gave me good recommendations of what I should do immediately, as well as things that I could hold off on for a later time. Long story short, that first ride after it was there was like an entirely deferent bike!Since this first visit, I have done all the recommended changes, and this bike is better than ever!Huge thanks to the guys over at Open Road for being honest, and compassionate about a stressful situation. I will be a customer going forward.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Coach helped me out with a tire swap and oil change. Was very professional and friendly. Prices were what he said over the phone and he gave me the best prices on rims I found here in the valley. Will definitely be going back and look forward to working with him and the shop again.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

The shop is in chaos. Reckless, disorganized and unreliable sums it up. I won't return even if it was for free. Too risky. They blame a former employee for the problems, but that was yesterday. Today is a new day and they are doing poorly. Safety on two wheels is far too important to allow these folks to screw things up. Avoid!New ownership seems as bad as the former.Service: Tires

I researched five other bike repairs shops before picking up the phone to call Open Road. These guys are great at customer service. The owners are the mechanics. Rob called me to update on what he thought the problem was and when he would have it fixed. These two guys are the first honest repair shop I have found in the 15 years. The previous bike repair shop told me I needed new front rotors at a cost of 1,300. Rob told me I didn't need new rotors and was able to fix my brake problem for under 400.00. They will have all of my future business

I have taken my Harley into Open Road Cycle Works twice, both times they have done an excellent job. I received all the things that are important to me. Good customer service, friendly and professional staff, attention to detail with my bike, and they didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I appreciated their honesty and advice, and they will continue to be my "go to guys" for motorcycle repair. Thank you Open Road Cycle Works!

These guys are awesome, I got a flat the other day (on a Saturday) on the freeway. They have done previous work on bike, so I called them again. The shop was 2 mins from closing. They sent a tow truck, at no cost to me. Then they replaced my tire, even though they were closed. I told them, not to worry, I understood it was Saturday, and they were closing shop. They insisted, so I could have my bike for the rest of the weekend. This shop is straight up, seriously will not take my bike any where else.

While traveling from Mexico I was hearing a little noise from the primary drive. I stopped by to see if they could have a look. They asked if I would like the oil in the primary changed and since it was time I said ok. They changed the oil and seal and charged so little. The work was perfect as was the price. As I was leaving Rob noticed I had a clearance light out and come running out to check. Here replaced the bulb, NO CHARGE. True care and customer service!!! Highly recommend to all.

If ever in the PHX and you are in need of a great mechanic, then see Jeff Jones aka Coach and his partner Rob.Both men have gone out of their way to not only service my bike(s) they've also installed front and rear tires at a very reasonable price.Tired of being jacked and paying dealer shop rates, then I would highly recommend Open Road Cycle Works. They are expert Harley Mechanics and can repair any other makes and models, including quads and or ATV'.Only the best right here in the PHX area.

Fast and excellent service. Coach and Rob are courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. What normally costs an arm and a leg at a dealership is much more reasonable here and much better customer service than most dealerships!
