Jake, Robert and the team were great. Expert service and attention to details. Always kept me updated as to what my Expedition needed to keep it in tip top shape. They have no problems working on an older vehicle, unlike an unnamed local Ford dealership. I would highly recommend this repair shop. Fair prices and honest family business values.

I visited National Automotive to have a new Jasper engine installed in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Working with Jake and the rest of the team was truly an exceptional experience. Their updates were consistently prompt, leaving me with no room for uncertainty, and their level of communication set a new standard for what should be expected from an auto repair shop. They consistently went the extra mile, a rarity in this industry. Moreover, they completed the job within a remarkably reasonable timeframe. The cost was equally fair, devoid of any hidden fees or unpleasant surprises, which are unfortunately common at other shops. While I hope I won't need their services again for an engine replacement, I will certainly trust them with my future maintenance work. Thank you, National Automotive!Service: Engine repair

Beyond happy with the service provided by national auto repair. I was taken care of by Robert Robinson lll. I was able to get my car serviced within same day. Price was reasonable and competitive. Customer service was on point. I m sorry but I m leaving my shop I ve been to for years for this one. Thank you Robert!

They were referred to me from another shop for doing excellent work. My vehicles sliding door really was a challenge but they were dedicated and it s like new. The price that they gave me at the beginning was the price that they gave me at the end, and it was the best deal I could find in the entire city I was treated extremely fairly, and as a woman I would say to other women you should go to the shop

I don t normally leave reviews and I never use my real name/info for personal privacy but my family has used nat auto for years now well over an decade and like 4 or 5 cars now and Randy Jake Jorge and everyone else have always taken care of us. Hope to continue using them for years to come. Plus the funny holiday cards they send out really cheer us up, keep up the good work!

If you want fair prices and reasonable rates for repairs this is definitely not a place you want to go. We dropped off my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Pick up truck and asked for an estimate for what it would cost to replace the head gasket and water pump.First thing the gentleman on the phone said was it will be 150.00 just for a diagnostic check. Obviously he saw us coming!!!Not only did they Not run the diagnostic check on the truck but they charged more than the agreed upon rate and also said it would take a couple of hours to complete the diagnostic check.Next they called four hours later and said it would be a whooping 5800.00 for the head gasket job or 11,000.00 for a new engine replacement!!!!!Needless to say we said we will call you back.Guess what???? No thanks for the royal rip off estimate if I had that kind of money I would walk into a dealership and buy a new/used car!!!!!I would highly recommend that you run in the opposite direction of this one as fast as you possibly can. Thank you ROBERT for your expertise and essential attempt to rip off some one who told you what was needed (before) ever driving to the shop to pay you the money for essentially repeating everything you were told over the phone before you "ran the diagnostic check ' I think I will just give it to the junkyard before I ask you to do anything for us .

Great customer service. Excellent experience. My family had used National Automotive for more then 10 years. They are reasonably priced. They don't over charge. Randy and Jake are amazing at what they do.

Extremely disappointed. We took our vehicle in for diagnosis and was returned to us with the tech scratching his head and for us to "return if it happens again". We also paid a $200 diagnostics fee for the same information from their OBDII tablet/scanner that O'Reillys had already provided us, but instead of free, we paid $200 for. After reviewing the dashcam of the time that National had our vehicle, the technician never once popped the hood to inspect our vehicle. I advised the shop about a specific connector upon drop-off, (that has a TSB from the manufacturer), and asked about its condition upon picking the vehicle up where I was assured the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected, (without popping the hood?). That connector was the problem, I had found, after taking my time out to inspect the vehicle myself and insultingly paying $200 for nothing. We choose this shop due to the reviews and had hoped, against our better judgement, this would be a good experience and would help us out due to personal time constraints. I usually do all of our own work, (ex Flat-Rate technician), and we were once again taught why you have to approach shops with hesitation. We were asked to email the footage to the owner, Randy, and he agreed to figuring out a method to refund our money due to his tech's lack of ethics. That was January 25th, and we haven't received correspondence thusly justifying this review.

This is my third car with National Automotive. The previous owner well I guess he still the owner. Randy was amazing to work with now. His son Jake is taking over and he s doing just as excellent a job. I shout out to Robert, who was awesome helping me and there were two other gentleman who helped me one helped give me a ride, and the other one helped me with my car when I came to pick it up I don t remember their names so please forgive me, but they were awesome as well. Thank you for the excellent service and have a great day.

Honest, reliable service from well educated mechanics. It s not easy to find good mechanics in the Phoenix area. Prices are inflated and the quality of repairs are poor. That s not the experience I received from National Automotive. They have integrity in what they do. They have always done great work and have always been affordable. I took my 72 Vette to National Automotive Repair for some fine tuning. It was running but had a misfire that was above my skill level. Randy, Jake, Robert and Jeorge spent the needed time to get the car running perfectly. Can't thank them enough for the honest feedback during the repair process. Picked er' up today. runs perfectly. The shop has done a good job about diagnosing issues on my vehicles the past few years. I appreciate how they are upfront when service really isn t needed. They recently started sending detailed reports of the recommended services with pictures and videos, it s really a great feature and adds a lot of transparency.

These guys are the real deal! Best mechanics ever! They got me passed emissions and no other mechanic in Phoenix was able to fix my stubborn old truck. They even did so much extra that wasn t even on my bill. If I had just taken it to them in the first place, I d be thousands of dollars richer. There s always old cars in the garage too, these guys know what they re doing when it comes to old Chevys. I m never going to another mechanic again!

I ve been taking my vehicles to National Automotive for over 10 years now. They are always professional and give me all of the options for repairs on my car. Everyone on staff is friendly and personable and I trust them not to rip me off. National automotive has handled all of the repairs for my daughter's car while she was at college. They always texted us the pictures as well as some videos of the things that needed to be repaired. Very professional and very reasonably priced.

We have 'regular people cars'. National Automotive has kept them running, always has gotten us in when needed. Their team is hugely helpful. I like that they train new mechanics from local schools. It's kind of like having your uncle & cousins work on your vehicles. What a relief this is to know your car will be serviced on time, correctly, with no follow up needed, they will charge you the appropriate amount and that there will be no mistakes. I think we have been their customers since like 2010? One of my very good friends said they could be trusted and I would recommend them to anyone. Sometimes it is really fun to see what kind of cars other people bring in--some really great old ones!

I took my Expedition in because the check engine light came on at the same time the engine started running rough. The team diagnosed the issue quickly, called to let me know & gave me options to get up and running that same day. I always take my Dodge Caliber 2009 to National Automotive Repair for all car repairs, oil changes, ac check ups, etc. They do an exceptional job of getting done what I need.If you need work on your vehicle, take it to National Automotive Repair.
