Jeff and the rest of his crew I've always taken good care of us and are very fair on their pricing and very honest as well. That's very hard to find in this day and age.Andrew

Came in with diagnosis from my regular mechanic, Inman basically told me the same thing, when I knew it was deeper electrical issue. I should have taken it straight to Elliotts. Charged $200 for the same diagnosis I came in with and slick talking salesman. Sorry, but not willing to pay the $1600+to change plugs and cables.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

Inman mis-diagnosed our car. They estimated a repair costing over $550.00. The actual problem was the gas cap. It cost under $20.00 and took about 5 minutes to replace.

I take my truck to Inman & Sons because 1) they're honest and don't do unnecessary work, 2) they know what they're doing and they do it well. They're also friendly and accommodating (on schedules), which are big pluses. So glad I found them!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil changeServices: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I used these guys for about two years and thought they were straight up and honest. I took my car in for an oil change and they told me I needed to change my brake pads but I could at most wait till the next time I go in. Heard about another mechanic that was cheaper so I took my car in and told them I needed an oil change and brake pads to be changed. Turns out I don't need brake pads for probably another 8-10 oil changes AND they quoted me 40% of the price Iman was charging. These guys are scammer mechanics. Avoid.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I never write reviews but really wanted to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. A few months ago, a coolant warning light turned on in my car. Despite reading some negative reviews on here, there were also a lot of good ones so I figured I d give them a chance since I live close by and could walk home. The first time I took my car in for an oil change and coolant flush. They called and said I should change my engine filter too for $40. I went with it. Total came out to $195.31. A little over a week later, the same coolant light comes back on. I call the next day and they were nice and said to drop off my car in the morning. They call me later that day and tell me all the things that need to be fixed and quote me over $1500. They also said whoever put coolant in your car put the wrong coolant in. I said you guys did it about a week ago?? My car is supposed to have blue coolant, but they had put in yellow coolant. I was charged a second time for the mistake they made that I had already paid for last time. They play it off like it s no big deal and say okay we won t charge you for the coolant pressure test this time. From the $1500 they quoted, I said this is a lot of money for me so what are the things that absolutely need to be fixed (like life or death). This brings the quote down to $1300. They call me again that day and say hey we really want to change your radiator hoses and we should do this instead of the coolant flush to keep the cost down, but now it s gonna be about $1400. I get my car back later that week on Friday 4/7. I pay $1409.42 and then go to the grocery store a mile away. On my way back, the same coolant light comes on AGAIN. Except now they re closed for the weekend. I open the hood, there s less than half of the coolant left and by the next day, it had all leaked out. I call Monday and tell them the coolant light came back on again. I drop my car off for the third time. Aiden calls me and says they found a small leak they missed the first time that was coming from the thermostat. Obviously we won t charge you for the pressure test (I would hope not after paying $1400 for you to not fix the issue last week). We need to replace the thermostat housing/thermostat, hose clamp and upper radiator hose. This will be about $450. I don t know if they re making assumptions because I live in the nice apartments next to them (moved here alone last year and chose a nicer apartment for safety), but I m a resident making a resident salary. Pretty much live paycheck to paycheck. I ask what did I just pay $1400 for because it sounds like none of that work was life or death necessary. I said let me get back to you, I want to call around for estimates. I m generally a pretty calm person but now a bit frustrated. While on the phone with Ted from Volvo Am I (I drive a Volvo SUV), I get a voicemail from Jeff who I assume is the manager saying that Aiden s estimate was wrong because he didn t realize that they had already replaced the upper radiator hose so it s actually gonna be less than $450. Part of me wonders if they would have brought up this casual oversight had I agreed to pay the $450 upfront? Also it looks like these oversights have happened to previous customers as well!! I pay $285.51 and everything was fine for a couple of months. In June, the same coolant light came back on for the fourth time. I already spent $1900 at Inman. Prior to Inman, I only went to Volvo specialists (not the dealership), so I decided to stick with what s worked for me in the past. All my interactions with Inman have been respectful, but I question their integrity. I ll also say they are really good at making it sound like they re doing you a favor and giving you a deal. I m not a car expert and wouldn t know the difference. This is all from my personal experience with them. My advice is that if you ve already gone to them once and the issue doesn t get resolved/fixed, I recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere before going back to them. You might also end up paying for things you don t need. Best of luck!

I could tell my battery was dying and I called Jeff to see if they could get me in to replace it, he said to come on over, they were so busy there was hardly a place to pull in and park. I was in and out in 30 minutes with a new battery. I cannot say enough about how well they have taken care of me every time I have needed them.

If I could give this place zero stars then I would. My car has been in the shop for far too long and it feels like they are holding it hostage now with no communication or updates on status. The owner is not responsive at all. Avoid this place at all costs and try any place else.Services: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenanceServices: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance

The Best !!!!!Jeff Inman and his staff are the absolute BEST in the Valley. But, only if you want great mechanics, honest pricing, and a man who REALLY cares about his customers/clients. I seldom write reviews, but in this case, I would be doing a disservice to a really great and honest vehicle service location if I did not.Services: Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

I was referred to Jeff at Inman's by a old high school friend. I had been looking for a good, honest, trustworthy mechanic for some time. Being a single female, (who absolutely knows nothing about cars) I found myself being taken advantage of especially by the dealerships whenever I took my car in to be serviced. I can honestly say that you can put your trust in Inman & Sons to handle your vehicle repairs. Specifically, when my check engine light came on just when I was about to renew my registration. I took it into the dealership for servicing and was told that I needed another $1,500 plus in work to pass emissions in order to reset the check engine light. I had just spent $2,200 to repair the wiring 3 weeks ago and was still waiting for the system to reset itself. I decided then to take it to Inman's for a second opinion. I received a call back from Jeff later that day letting me know that the engine light was now off and that they had already taken it down to emissions for me and that it passed! I was literally AMAZED that they were able to get the job done so quickly and efficiently and and at such a reasonable price. Inman's saved me from spending a substantial about of money on unnecessary repair work. Good mechanics are hard to find and trustworthy ones even harder. I can honestly say that I would not hesitate to refer my family, friends, or coworkers to Inman's.

Jeff was easy to work with prompt. My vehicle was available the same day after a milestone inspection and oil change. Jeff was honest and conservative with his recommendation on service and the prices were reasonable. Great guys and no rip off...they were genuine, trustworthy, thrifty, and efficient. They did what I asked him to at a fair price. They also let my wife drop off the car and gave her a ride to the airport. I'll be back.

This is the cleanest mechanics I have ever been to! These fellows allow us to arrive a little late in the afternoon to have our battery replaced. Our experience was amazing from start to finish, everything was clear and explained and the battery was replaced remarkably fast. Very impressed and happy.

On March 2, 2020, I had routine maintenance performed on my 2006 Toyota Highlander at Inman & Sons Auto & Truck Center. Four new tires, new battery, new belts, radiator hose, oil and filter, brake system flush, yadda, yadda...They don't rush a job, but they are fast turnover.I'm a low-mileage driver, but nevertheless a vehicle that endures the brutal desert summers must receive a basic level of preventive maintenance for safety's sake. I have relied on the Inman family business for many years. They will examine your vehicle bumper-to-bumper and give you an honest assessment. There is no sales pressure. It's entirely your decision regarding whatever maintenance service you order. The Inman & Sons operation is competent, their rates are reasonable, and they stand behind their work.

This place is INCREDIBLE! I just had one of the best customer experiences ever.I had a leaky tire and they needed to be rotated. I had gotten a quote of $70 the day before at another place. Inman and Sons did it all for free within 30 minutes.Everyone that worked there was a pleasure to speak with and I would definitely go back!

I will definitely be filing a complaint with the BBB. I took my car in for the power steering and was way over charged. They drained my battery and charged me $200 to replace it. When I went to pick it up, the radio, heat/air and clock were not working. I was told they wouldn t fix what they broke because I couldn t prove that they did it. It worked just fine when I took it in. Worst experience ever!!!!!!! It wouldn t let me post this unless I gave at least one star! Unbelievable!

Wife's truck had her tire punctured when we left the truck out over night in front of the shop hoping to have it serviced the following day per the shops instruction. She had it towed to discount tire and they verified as much the tire was cut and not blown out overnight as Inmans's stated. Inmans also suggested the wheel hub bearings needed to be replaced and the steering bracket stabilizer was missing. Triple A service center in Peoria verified the wheel hub bearings were in average condition while the steering bracket stabilizer was there but the shock simply wasn't.I wanted this to work out considering not many shops have lifts that can accommodate her size of truck, but unfortunately this review lines up with some of the other negative reviews already here. The quote was $2465 for 4 tires, steering bracket stabilizer, and wheel hub bearings. In no world was this job going to work out. Steer clear of this shop.
