I just got introduced to Mike and his shop recently and he is great. He really took some time to diagnose the complex issue I had going on with my car before he just started replacing parts like most shops do. This saved me time and money and I really appreciate him taking the time and explaining everything with me to figure out the best option. Mike went above and beyond what I expected. We have been using Good Brakes for several years, and have been very pleased. Mike really cares about the relationship he has with his customers, and it shows in his work. We have always found him to be honest, and his prices to be fair. If you give Mike's shop a try, we think you'll be pleased too.

I came in for the first time never hearing of this place and I m glad I found it. Mike is an honest hard working guy with a lot of experience. He ll answer any questions you have and will explain everything that is wrong with your car in great detail. He will tell you exactly what needs to fix, and he ll show you! Mike is the owner and sole worker of Good Brakes Automotive so you know you re getting guaranteed good work on your car and there s no where to throw the blame. It also means he s not working on commission so he won t sell you any bull.After my first visit I knew that Mike was going to be my go to mechanic. I recommend this place for anyone looking to get an honest opinion and quality mechanic work. Added bonus, if you re active duty or a veteran he s really good with giving you a discount.5 stars

Mike was great. He did the job fast, accurate, precise. Look no further if you are in need of an honest mechanic, knows his stuff, keeps you informed and his rates are very reasonable. Mike will not do work you don't need. There is no pressure, just an honest evaluation from a competent professional. Thank you Mike. My car is running great. I found out about Good Brakes Automotive on Groupon and every since I have always use them for my BMW. Mike is a great guy and he always explained to me what he is doing on my car and he does an awesome job. I would recommend anyone who want an honest and friendly service come and see Mike!

Mike is honest, dependable, and full of insight. He will not only take care of your vehicle needs, but also take the time to explain and show you what must be done verses what can be done later down the road. I've been going to him for a few years now, and I will not only continue to go back to him, but send others his way to have their vehicles worked on as well.

I was looking for an alternative to using the dealer for all my service. I didn't mind using the dealer, but it seems like their prices have started to get ridiculously expensive. I'd been to several places around town and after doing some online searches I came across Good Brakes Automotive. I decided to call and compare prices to those I had already gathered. I found Mike to be helpful, informative and he seemed straight up and honest. I decided to have Good Brakes do one of my major recommended services and could not have been happier. Their prices were better than all my other quotes and they were using more expensive parts to boot! If you are looking for a solid auto repair shop that you can trust, and also has good prices, look no further, you just found it :-)

I got a Groupon deal for oil change package. This deal turned out to be great value. Mike was really helpful and made some good suggestion. He explained all little things to me and did a good job in timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place for car services.thumbs up from my side.

Mike is a life saver for me today! On Christmas Eve, my radiator blew. I'm a medium-time rideshare driver which means, no driving equals no money! I found this shop on Groupon and visited the website. I texted Mike on Christmas day (early evening) and he texted me back asking to give him a call in the morning for an estimate. I did and his estimate was right in line with another I had received and requested the repair that morning. Mike recommended that I arrive as early as I could to his shop! I am certain I have found my new GO-TO repair shop! Fair price, remarkable customer service and quality work! You should make Good Brakes your repair shop as well!

I have been bringing in my vehicles to Good Brakes for years. They have always given me five star service whether for an oil change or a rebuild. Great customer service and they stand behind their work. I recommend them.to all my friends and family.

Really upset with Mike and how he handled an issue I have with his service. I paid him to help me and he came up short...his response "I'm sorry you feel that way". If you want high quality auto care and good customer service avoid Good Brakes.

My wife and I went today to have our squeeky breaks looked at and fixed. Mike was fast with his inspection, located the problem, explained in detail what the problem is and fixed the breaks in the same day! Also ensured we stayed cool while waiting in his shop with courtesy drinks. Thanks Michael!

Mike I'm very pleased you sanded up and spoke in my behalf at the Emission Test on Deer Valley. Probably with more people like you they won't reject the car so absurdly. I went to the Scottsdale location and they passed me instantly
