Went for an AC check up / recharge. Was told that I had two leaking hoses that needed to be replaced ... the hoses around $400 between parts and labor and then the recharge $280 after it's fixed.I got a second opinion because with car stuff, you always should, and it wasn't the hoses leaking. It was just the O rings .. which the other shop changed out for free .. and then the recharge was $180. I'll never be back in to firestone. The other shop used dye to see where the leak actually was and that's how they knew. Not sure how they diagnose AC issues but it's clearly not accurate. Saved myself almost $600 by getting a second opinion. Firestone will be my absolute last choice .. meanwhile the other shop I went to just got a customer who will be back.There is a literal quote from the founder about honesty painted on the wall in there .. yet look at these reviews.

I was coming in from Tucson and my car's "Check Engine" light came on while on the freeway in downtown Phoenix and it immediately started running poorly.� I pulled off I10 and found the nearest mechanic s shop, Firestone, located nearby.� They looked into it, quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it and gave it back to me by the next afternoon.� I made it back to Tucson and it ran normal for 2 weeks.� Then, the same sequence happened after 2 weeks, I took it to my mechanic and they told me that the Sensor that Firestone had replaced now needed a replacement.� It required an OEM Sensor, now my car runs well.I called the Phoenix Firestone location and asked to speak with the Manager.� He and I had multiple conversations over a week and half timeframe about the possibility of getting some kind of reimbursement for the several hundred-dollar cost for a component they installed that didn t keep the car running normally for more than 2 weeks.� I sent in all the information the store manager asked for, several weeks have passed and I haven t heard anything back.� Please ensure you get OEM parts when you get your car repaired here.� I have spoken with the store manager 5 times over the week and half communication and left my personal number several times with him, I have never received a call from him during this time and I do not expect any kind of refund, reimbursement or phone call from this store or any phoenix-Arizona general management to address this overall dissatisfying experience.Firestone service has degraded significantly over the past few years.

this place is a joke. I left my car there for six hours to change a tire. It s a regular tire they never even got to the car. They never even bothered calling me to tell me they . I would ve took never take your car here fix the tire will not get to it. It s somewhere else. I called and talk to Three hours after them and told them I needed that car tonight. They guaranteed it by five. They never touched it. Simply, after having three hours they should ve known they weren t gonna be able to get to my vehicle

The car care package for a vehicle inspection was very informative for recommending helpful future maintenance with its condition at 160,700 miles, and the explanation was thorough. My questions and requests were answered. Friendly service in a reasonable amount of time. Available discounts were applied, and i was reminded of the 5% from the Firestone credit card.

Experiences have been good, and they generally let me know about or just apply discounts if they're available. Prices are reasonable.The lobby isn't cozy like Kerry's, and giant windows mean lots of sun in the afternoons- not ideal for Phoenix. Better prices than Kerry's though.

Do not come here. Had my tires replaced, went to pick up the car and when I asked for a receipt they said they d email me. When I got the email saw they had added $100 worth of warranties to the bill without ever mentioning warranties to me. The warranty they added was 20% of the cost of the tires themselves. The rep I talked to said they usually tell customers about the warranty but it was never mentioned to me. When I asked for a refund they told me I had to come in and show my original paperwork before they could do anything. So not only did they try to add $100 to my bill without any consent they are forcing me to make another trip to the store to correct their shady business practice.

Store manager Daryl and associate Kevin took care of me when a nearby Firestone refused to work on my Tesla. The were able to accommodate me as a walk-in in a timely manner. Although they are not the closest location, I will be coming back for their service. Thank you for keeping this location desirable. I hope you guys are able to find more technician and support staff in these busy times.

Very disappointing. We use Firestone exclusively on our vehicles. Today we got a check TPMS warning on our car and when we called our local shop, we were informed we needed to get the tire pressure checked. We weren't close to our local one, so we went to one in the area. They said we could make an appointment or they would allow us to check our tires on our own. NOT helpful!

I have to say that I am very happy. Unexpectedly I had a flat. Took to a nearby store. Was not happy with options. Did some reasearch and picked a beast of a tire - probably more than my car needs - and was able to get them immediately from Firesone on Osborn. Tim was great, matched the Firestone online price. Was always polite and direct and got the tires switched with the old ones quickly. Firestone Firehawk Indi 500 are causing me to beam with pride as I drive slowly to the grocery store.Service: Tires

Daryl and the crew at Firestone Park Central were my heroes yesterday. They helped me when I was in a bad spot. They were extremely busy due to training and being short staffed that day but they took my car anyway and put me back on the road in no time. I have visited this store numerous times recently with auto issues and they have never let me down. You have a great team at Park Central!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dropped off my vehicle 5 days ago and haven't heard anything since. I'm calling now as I write this during business hours and haven't gotten anyone to answer. No voicemail box set up either.Apparently Greg was supposed to call me but went on vacation. I was told on Friday I'd get an email with an estimate and never received anything.That's 5 days without a work truck just so you guys could do a diagnostics check and tell me what I needed. I'll be there when you open on Monday to pick up my truck and take my business and company fleet elsewhere. What an absolute joke of professionalism.

Ran over a rake on the highway - it was unavoidable. Later ended up with a flat. Brought my car in midday on a Saturday and they had the tire patched up and ready to go within a couple of hours.

I paid for a full check of my car which was around $200 then they inform me myRadiator need to be replaced due to a hole in it. When I came to pick up the car it turned out that was not the problem and they want me to pay another 408$ or something like that to replace a water pump which seemed to be the reason why my car was over heating so they never fixed the issued and missed diagnosedThe problem when I paid 200$ and something just for them to see what the issue is. So I paid 1200$ to fixed a radiator when that wasn t even the issue. So in my experience this is all a scam. And I will be reporting this to the better business bureau.So me and my gf took her car to where she bought it from and it turns out they did not change the radiator correctly which caused the car to continue over heating. They never put coolant in the car even tho they charged me for. I want a full refund or we can go to small claims court.

I got there at 4:55 pm, all the garage doors were open. I went in to get a bolt removed from my tire and the guy said we're closed but we can see you tomorrow. So I went Rincon where they gladly took my business.

Came in for a flat without appointment and they were able repair same day. I also had lost my wallet and was trying ro figure out how to pay and they just covered the $20 charge. thank you! very sweet staff and Kevin was cracking me up! will definitely return for car needs.

I went in to seek a 2nd opinion on my car's ac. Another shop told me that it would cost thousands of dollars to fix my car. Firestone said that the only thing that my ac system needed was a new cabin air filter and an ac recharge (freon). This only cost a couple hundred. I am so happy that I went to this shop to get a second opinion. Now my ac blows cool air! This shop provided great customer service and my vehicle was ready to be picked up within 4 hours of dropping it off. I will be coming here from now for any future car maintenance needs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Air conditioning

We take our service vans here for tires they do a great job, they sell us great product, at competitive prices. Great service knowledgeable staff, come on down to midtown! If you're from the valley like I am and grew up here it's great to drive through all the memories on the way to the store! :-)

I have been a long time Firestone customer, starting with the Camelback store in Scottsdale, then the 3rd Ave and Osbourne location in Phoenix.No other shop has touched my vehicles since 2009. I have purchased 6 or 7 sets of tires in that time, and have taken advantage of the lifetime alignment and tire rotation program.I used to be on a first name basis with the store manager and the guys at the counter.My relationship with Firestone, sadly, is at an end.The customer service I have received the past several visits has fallen well short of acceptable.Most recently, I have experienced shoddy workmanship regarding the replacement of front struts.Looks like our relationship has run its course.Goodbye Firestone.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery

I had to take my Subaru in to get some work done, it was warranty work, so they asked me to get there early at 7:30, whereas I advised him I had to work that day at 12:00, and could they take a look at the vehicle as quickly as possible. My only complaint in the entire experience was, having pre-made the appointment at 7:30, I assumed they would be able to take care of me immediately. That would be a false assumption on my part, because the technician needed to look at it wasn't coming until 8:00 a.m.. so other than having to wait for my car to be looked at and get the approval for the work to be done, my entire experience was outstanding. Not only did the gentleman working behind the counter keep me informed of everything that was going on, I heard him on the phone vigorously fighting to get my entire service covered, and then when I asked how much longer it would take because I had to work, he placed a call to the parts delivery service to encourage them to hurry up so that they can get the vehicle done. The technician working on the car had everything ready to go so when the parts arrived they can put it all back together and get me on the road quickly. The technician did they throw examination of the vehicle letting me know there were no other issues that needed to be handled, and they got me out as quickly as possible. I have used this Firestone since 2001, and I can't tell you of a time where I didn't get outstanding service from them and I highly recommend them to anybody needing their car repairs done. Whether it's tires service oil change whatever you can be pretty confident that they're going to do a great job, honestly appraising your vehicles needs I'm getting you the best price possible for the service needed.

This place has bad customer service and they are straight-up a scam. Wanted to charge me $80-something for an oil change... I've never in my life paid more than $30.Also a few weeks ago my car started overheating. It was emergency situation and they were the only shop around...They wouldn't even take 5 minutes to look at it.I will never ever even attempt to go to them again. I'd rather go to Midas or a local shop!

They did a good job of communicating what they suggested to be done and how much it would cost as well as options.Call to get their store hours because Google and the Firestone site say 6 but the folks in store quit at 5.

I bought new tires at this Firestone location two years ago. They did a price match from Costco. They are excellent tires. I stopped by today to have them check the tire pressure. They were very cordial and took care of my SUV within a few minutes.
