I have been using Don Jackson for my Porsches since 1995, that is a long time. I only recommend them. DJ and John took over the business after their father passed. Basically, DJ and John have been working on Porsches since they were kids, and were trained how to run a shop by their father who was amazing at his craft and customer service. I was just a kid when I first used them in college almost 30 years ago, Don gave me a quote on a complicated repair for a 944 turbo that I had, told me what parts to source from a junk yard to update my headers. After the dust settled he came in significantly under his quote! Who does that? They have worked on the following cars for me . 1971 911T, 1972 911E, 1986 944 Turbo, 1979 911 SC, and they have been taking care of my current 1982 SC for 21 years. They are the best. Period.

This review is so late but had to share my experience when I had a 1980 911 SC shipped to me from PA to AZ back into the 2000's The SC was in good condition but it was plagued with maintaince parts that needed to get replaced when I started daily driving it, I am not kidding at 1 point it seemed that I was at DJ every week getting my poor aircooled 911 towed there. DJ & John took very good care of my 911 and got it back to normal, so I didnt need to visit DJ and John so often.My 911 was great after that and only trusted it to them after they did so much work on it...They are pretty much the air-cooled experts when it comes to the 911sNow that I have a 996.2 it might be time to visit the shop again for future service.....Glad to see that DJ and John are still open :)

I've been going to DJE for over 20 years. I began with the late Don Jackson Sr. After his passing DJ took over my care, along with his brother John. The same faces always great me. Generations of experience here.They look after my 1986 911 Carrera with great care, and they always provide exemplary service and treat me fairly. They have never let me down. I would never consider going anywhere else. My family has been using DJ and his late father's business for decades, most recently to service our Porsche 914-6 conversion. They've always taken great care of us over the years. DJ is like family. My Boxster 981 had a fault with the top and needed some fresh oil. DJ and the team figured the issue out with the top and I m using it everyday confident that it s working 100% and exactly as Porsche intended. Just in time for fall here in AZ and some WOT fun;).I m happy my DJE experience and recommend you give them a try. Smart guys committed to getting stuff sorted out with reasonable service rates. They have serviced my 968 three times, the first time was for a blown-out waterpump that dumped all of my coolant. While they were at it, I had them do the timing and balance belts. The second repair was to replace a half-shaft after a CV joint boot disintegrated and the CV got dirt in it. The most recent repair was to diagnose a hard-starting issue. I thought fuel, they said the fuel system tested fine, but they had suspicions about about my ignition wires. They made a repair at NO CHARGE because they weren't sure if it was the issue or not. It was, and the car has been flawless for the 12 months since then. Very fair and honest shop, just wish they were closer to me.

I started going to Don Jackson Enterprises for servicing my vintage 1983 Porsche 944 1� years ago. Since then I ve had them work on my vehicle three times. A good decision on my part! I ve been favorably impressed by their professionalism, excellent workmanship, and overall knowledge of Porsches. Plus their pricing is fair and reasonable. They don t gouge and don t find things to work on that are unnecessary. DJ took care of me and I have to say he has excellent customer service, backed by knowledge and professionalism. They did the job required in a very timely manner for a very reasonable price. I have taken all four of my Porsches to Don Jackson's only good things to say. From when Don was alive now operated by DJ, Don's son, the service is great and and the work is out standing. I will keep going there until the day I can no longer get in or out of my Cayman S.

I recently took our 2004 996 Turbo to Don Jackson Enterprises for general maintenance. DJ and the team are fantastic. I greatly appreciate the time these gents take to assess what the car may need and then take the time to walk you through it. No hype, no pressure....just an honest approach by a great shop. They are Porsche specialists, and they did some really good work. Unfortunately, the biggest job they ever did on my car, they blew royally. Didn't honor their labor warranty, weren't forthcoming about damage to the paint on my car. After $2000 repair to my AC, it doesn't work, and likely won't until further expensive repairs. I will never return to their shop to have them work on my car.

There are only 2 places in Arizona to take your Porsche for service of any kind. This guy is one of them. (The other I won't share with anyone 'cause I'm keeping him to myself). Honest and skilled beyond description.
