My car made a loud noise after a small collision.So I went to the Nissan service department; the front desk said I had to pay an inspection fee of US$180 first, and then pay the repair fee after the inspection. Then I searched on Google, and among many repair shops, I chose this repair shop (read reviews and go by feeling). The shop owner enthusiastically inquired about the condition of the car. I couldn't understand English, so he patiently chatted with me through Google Translate. (sorry for wasting so much time on him) He heard a noise and thought it was an issue with the exhaust fan. Lift the vehicle and return the heat shield to its original position within two minutes. Since it was a minor issue, he didn't charge me anything. He also fixed my handlebar for free. I'm glad this young man is honest. He didn't say that the noise I was making was coming from another component and took the opportunity to charge for a non-issue. In auto repair shops, such honest shop owners are rare. The young man's name is Donovan.I'm very grateful to him

I ve been having issues with my car over heating and have took it to other professionals that would tell me to buy a new car. It s an older model but it s my baby. I took it to Don s and Rob change out my water pump, no problems and no issues since! Rob, I appreciate you and your top quality service, you gave me hope that I am able to keep my 2004 vehicle running smoothly. If you love your baby as much as I do, want to have a reliable mechanic, see Rob and Don, best service ever! Thanks boys!!!

My Subaru outback had a bad engine and my friend offered to swap it out for me, and since i ve seen him successfully rip apart many Subarus in the past, i felt confident in his ability to fix my car. Long story short, we ended up taking it to Don s after a year of failure. It took a month to source a part, but once he had it, Don fixed it in a day and i had my car back. I spent the next 2 weekends driving up to flagstaff to camp with friends and see the fall colors. I ve had 0 issues so far and i ve been driving it a little over a month. I wish i had taken my car to Don a year ago. Don t be like me and just take your car to Don s.

AMAZING SHOP. took my van in with a blown transmission. don sourced and installed a new one in ONE DAY, even stayed at his shop working on it till 1 am so i could continue on my trip. cannot recommend this shop enough !!!

Dealership lied to me about repairs that I "needed" done. I brought my car and the list here, and instead of doing all the repairs and collecting the pay day, they were honest about it and sent me on my way. Really appreciate the integrity.

Don is a great guy and takes pride in his work. He explains the invoice line-by-line so you know what you re paying for. He works on a diverse array of vehicles to include classic show cars, diesel cars/trucks, sports cars, and regular daily drivers. He especially seems like the go-to for Subarus. I routinely drive my 2003 diesel Jetta wagon from Maine to California and I ALWAYS save my maintenance issues for don during my stop in Phoenix. He should have a solid 5 star rating. Any rating lower than 5 is likely due to automotive ignorance, or accidentally leaving a review for a different dons auto.Truly maryvale s automotive hidden gem,

I'm very grateful for Billy who figured out my rattling problem with my 08 Nissan Rogue SL AWD, that 1 shop I paid $3500 couldn't figure out the problem,plus 3 other places also. Billy did and I will always be a customer here because I know that they won't just guess what's broken, they will find the problem and coach me from there on what I need to do next and Rob and owner Donavon have done all front end suspension 1 and half ago and I haven't had a problem since either. So I went to Don's to replace my radiator and my transmission. My radiator was leaking fluid and my engine was overheating. I had been told by another mechanic that I needed a new transmission (another shop prior). Not only did Don check out my car the same day they fixed it and it rides much better. Turns out I didn't need a new transmission ( money saved!!). I love the service I received here because #1 they have great customer service #2 they didn't just try to fix stuff that really didn't need to be fixed (which saved me money) #3 they guarantee their work...which is awesome! #4 These guys are down to earth and nice....literally! If you're looking for an honest mechanic who will answer your questions and inform you about your vehicle then look no further!! This a family in mind, owned and operated! Don REALLY looks out for his people! He has helped me so much with my navi! He lets us know that we are people as well as he is a person, not just a mechanic! I will go to him for all future repairs and I will recommend this shop hands down! Thank you so much Don!

I took my car here for the first time about a month ago for ac service and Bill was able to do it that same day. Im glad BilI helped me out cuz I was lucky to get it done that quick. My ac is still blowing pretty cold air.

I found Don's Automotive online. I received the best customer service I have ever had. I was kept in the loop on every aspect of my vehicle getting repaired. They did a great job on my vehicle it was finished in the time that they said it would be and the cost was reasonable. I am a fan! Working with Dons automotive has been a wonderful experience! The NISSAN dealer quoted me over $3000 worth of work, took the car to Dons and they were able to fix what I needed for 1/3 of the cost. They also fixed my car after I got into a mini accident and were super flexible and easy to work with! Highly recommend giving them a chance, you won t be disappointed.

Dons is operated by miracle workers! Brakes plus told me it would be a new engine and $8,000 to get my vehicle running! I couldn t believe it! So I took it to Dons and not only did I get the vehicle running like new with just a few new sensors but I also got all other major repairs fixed for less than 25% of what Brakes Plus had quoted! After having multiple repairs done on 3 vehicles, I can say I won t bring them anywhere else!

The manager who runs this shop is excellent. She kept me informed during the entire process. She saved me a lot of money compared to another facility and even beat another local shop I have used in the past. I had some general maintenance done on my 05 WRX along with some power modifications, Dons auto shop was meticulous and professional. They all made sure to take care of me and went above & beyond making sure my subaru would be back better and stronger than before. Donovan and his team helped me when my Buick Enclave was rumbling in the rear. I had no idea what was happening and was unsure that a mechanic would be completely honest. Their mechanics took in my car and the next day everything was fixed. This was a week ago and everything is back to normal and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Fully recommended.

I've been to Don's Auto a few times for my 4Runner and my Civic. He's the best in the biz! Professional, polite, and he knows what he's doing! I took my car there to be serviced and the people there told me that what they fixed could fix the problem. What I ended up with was a bill for something that didn't even fix the problem i had. Once I told them that its unacceptable to pay for something that isn't fixed. The Owner Don used a "well since you aren't a mechanic you wouldn't know" belittling me for a poor job done by his crew. And also by some specialist who clearly didn't care for the job on my vehicle. And to make matters worse when I asked for a refund the owner continued to avoid a simple yes or no. If your vehicle is in need of work and it happens to be in front of Don's auto shop. I would HIGHLY disregard going there. Because the so call items they fixed my car with had been parts from the Junk Yard. Will be filling a with the Better Business Bureau due to such Incompetence.

I had them perform several jobs to my 2010 jeep liberty. They fixed my engine oil leaks, change spark plugs and oil sending unit. They also serviced my a/c, replaced the radiator, upper and lower hoses along with the thermostat. And replaced my rear shocks too. They did a good job in a very timely manner. I really like the fact they don't mess with off brand parts to save a money. It's either Gates or OEM parts. Pre warning, dont go here trying to save a buck. They have very knowledgeable mechanics and you get what you pay for. I've had my jeep back for about month and haven't any issues with there work.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Air conditioning
