2012 Camaro new top installed by Craig in 08/20. Car only has 2k more miles on it since then. Moved states and had to have minor repair done to top already and discovered they had broken all four bolts on the trim piece off, thinking they were clips instead of bolts. Rattled like crazy. Was being held in by the roof release. One bolt was still present with the broken plastic attached, all others missing. Cost me another $120 plus $200 in labor to install new trim piece. Disappointed they thought they could reinstall broken parts they had broken. Dishonest.

Craig and his team covered by jet boat with new upholstery and it looks amazing. They were 100% professional, fast, responsive, and provide exceptional quality. His team also installed a custom bimini top on our pontoon boat. We are VERY happy with the work.

I was in need of some help with recovering the seat on my mobility scooter (the kind of work that most shops don't even want to be bothered with). Craig's determined the problem that I was having was caused by defective snaps used on the new cover. They replaced the faulty snap buttons and got me on my way in short order! Thank you so much, you now have a customer for life!!

Did a superb job on the Bimini top and created a cockpit cover for my 1983 Sea Ray 260. Excellent craftsmanship and incorporated as many existing snaps as possible. Looks great.

On a big note I was about to go to this shop and ask and trust them with helping me with my seats, but based off seeing the actual real straight up reviews, I don t think anyone should go to this place, what kinda person treats there customers with disrespect and puts hands on them, I would say for everyone who reads this, read the reviews of every place before even going to them.

Brought in my bike seat for a simple recover. 12 days later, (never called), I come in, pick up the seat. Assumed it was perfect($204). Got home and took a closer look. Household size staples, half into the seat, the rest squashed flat, all over the place. Not trimmed, scrap fabric flopping in many places. Didn't use any method, stays, adhesive, heat gun, to insure cover was on the seat and not looking like a trampoline. Told me, it would settle in. Ridiculous. Told me, I've been doing this 40 years. I know. Realized who I was dealing with. Didn't bother telling them, I've been getting seats recovered longer than that, never saw such poor work. Let them try and fix this. Next day picked it up. Marginally better. Not any way I'm putting the POS on my beautiful K1200s. Proly gonna have to rip it off, find a competent upholsterer.

I had used this guy on several classic cars. I always provide the covers and foam. The quality dropped off in a bad way. This time the seats had bad stretches in odd directions. The glue he used failed. The vinyl surfaces came back with extra holes from hog rings that were apparently misplaced and removed. Never again Craig! To top it off they lost my armrests and then told me that my seats never had them and was not a factory option (rear bench 80 s K5 Blazer)

I brought my 26ft Tri-Toon to Craig's because the two bimini tops were shot and needed to be replaced. Craig gave me a quote for the new biminies as well as two new zipper boots. After taking delivery, I was very please with the quality of the work. I brought my boat back after I had a deployment issue and Craig made the needed adjustments three months later. These are great people to work with . Craig's wife, Cindy, showed me the completed job and helped me secure everything for travel, I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I tried this guy again, thinking I must have caught him on a bad day. He has multiple excuses as to why he can't do the job right.Had him install a seat cover on a motor cycle seat. He said it "would look like new" The cover was on crooked. Took it back and asked them to see what they can do. When I came back to pick it up the second time, I looked it over and before I said anything, Craig said: "live with it." "You just have to learn to live with it". One heck of a statement to make before I even said anything. But, it still was not straight. I reminded him he said it would look like new and he replied that "all new seat covers are crooked". Craig's attitude and demeanor was horrible.. He was loud and in my face trying to intimidate me (I'm 70 years old). I told him I was going to post negative reviews because everyone should know how he does business. He grabbed my arm and shoulder, shoving me toward the door and said "get out". I called the police. I will not tolerate being assaulted. He lied to the police and said I (70 years old) had refused to leave the store and that I had started an altercation. His wife was the only witness. Not only does this guy do poor work, he is a jerk when there is a problem. His reply to my negative post: " They have a pill for this Richard. Craig" gives you an idea of what he is like. Just read his reply, remember he started in on me before I said anything about his second do-over and remember I had to call the police. If you do business with him, remember to bring pepper spray and a witness.P.S. He called me and said the negative post I made made won't matter because he and his friends "post all the positive posts he needs." He also said he will be watching for me -- whatever that means. For Pete's sake! Do I now have to watch over my shoulder for this guy?

CCU was highly recommended by several folks in the auto industry whose only experience with their work must be either old or anecdotal. I had a dash installed. It was loose. It was ill fitted. It was something I could have had done on the South side of Phoenix for a LOT less. Craig has been around for decades and seems to continue getting business based on a reputation he gained ages ago. Personally, this is one of the last shops I would recommend.Grades:A for budgetC for executionD for attention to detail

Had a complete interior done with vinyl top on our Dart GT. Used their experience on what would look best with my color change and I am not disappointed. Looks great, the leather work alone is outstanding.

The service was awesome. Not only did they explain the pros and cons of one type of material over another, they offered to fix the sun visors while they were replacing the rag top. And the price was easy on the wallet!

Wanted $500 to staple 2 previously made seat covers on with no assertion that it would be done right...are you kidding me? Needless to say I left...with me seats. STAY away. There are other places that wont try to earn their weeks profit in a short afternoon.
