Used them the first time for an oil/lube/filter and tire rotation. Dropped off and was ready before they suggested. A super short walk from my place so super convenient.

This place was nothing but straight with me.. First time I had an engine knock.. Turned out to be a $5 oil seal.., second time, had water leaking out of the motor, turned out to be an engine plug in the back.. Both times they could have taken me for a new motor! They didn't, they just treated me right, and got me on the road within two days!! Freekin Great people!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Always had a great experience here over the last 4 years - the owner & mechanics have always been very friendly and honest. I mostly do routine maintenance here. Best auto mecahanics in the business. I mean that. My family and & I have been taking our vehicles here since 1992. You want honest. Bruce the owner takes pride and that reflects in all his wonderful employees and their ability to correct ALL issues. I wouldn't own a used vehicle if I didn't have them. I live in Chandler and yes I bring them my vehicles. Thank you Bruce and Carmel family. We love you guys!

I had a mishap while on the freeway heading to Prescott. A huge raven hit my passenger side rearview mirror and knocked the mirror out. I managed to find the back piece and mirror but the glass was all broken. I don't know if you realize how often you check that mirror, but it's a hazard if you don't have one. I swung in and explained my situation. The owner came over and checked out the replacement glass I had bought through AutoZone and decided he'd try to help me out, but it wasn't something they normally do. I appreciated the fact he was willing to try it and explained that I realized that there wouldn't be a warranty with it if he was able to fix it. The next day they called and said that they had gotten it taken care of so I was able to come by and get it, they even popped it back into place for me. I truly appreciate the fact they were willing to at least try to get that fixed, and thankfully they succeeded. My drive-up North daily is much safer thanks to them. I'm definitely bringing them more business as I live close by. I highly suggest you giving them a try on any car repair needs that you have, they've been at 19th and T-bird for as long as I can remember.

They are just looking to run up the bill.I do not recommend them.I met the owner unfortunately they already had my car.Lets just say I would not send someone I love there.

I went to Carmel Automotive because they were close to the house and I like to support the smaller independent shops. I already knew some of what was wrong with my vehicle and relayed the information. The full diagnoses was correct and relatively quick. Pricing was a tad high inching close to dealer prices. Repairs were done as agreed upon and within an acceptable time frame. Staff is friendly and professional.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Got me back on the road in the same day with a walk in. Ended up costing a lot less than the initial estimate. Fair, honest people. Bruce was a super easy and nice fellow to do business with.

They work on my cavalier and Impala. I'm sold by their ability to diagnose the impossible! My transmission kept going in limp mode and they found it was a temp sensor wire. My husband's Impala had no ac and who would have thought the electrical for the ignition switch was the cause??? Pretty amazing. I don't trust anyone else with my cars.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

I rarely leave reviews, but gotta give a shout out when it is due. I Found this place on accident when my usual automotive place couldn't get me in due to being understaffed. The best shops are the ones with an involved owner who knows the trade and how to actually do the work. That's what you'll find at Carmel auto, professional, quality, personal service. Always happy to take my maintenance work and exceeds my expectations every time. Great shop, awesome owner and experienced techs, I refuse to go anywhere else

I like the guys that work there. The owner, Bruce, is great . I feel they are honest and will let you know of future things that should be done on your car, but doesn't have to happen today. They are my new auto shop

They were so kind and helpful! My car stopped running on a Saturday morning and they got me in ASAP and actually took the time showing me what went wrong and showing the parts they needed to fix, even though they were busy with other cars too! Very impressed.

Great bunch of guys! I have been taking my car here for close to a year and these guys have gone above and beyond in helping our family with our mechanic needs. They take customer service to a whole new level and treat you as if you are family. I will continue to take my car here as long as their sign says open!

So happy to have "discovered" this auto shop that has been just down the street from us for 20 years. Bruce, Ben and everyone at Carmel Auto are professional and courteous without fault. We always know our automobiles are receiving quality service and appreciate the communication that happens before repairs are made.

I made an appointment on Wednesday for Friday at 10am for an oil change. I got there a little before 10 and an employee told me that I would have to wait untill 2 or 3 for them to work on my car, acted like he didnt believe me when I told him I made an appointment, he didnt check a computer system to see that I had made an appointment. I do not not recommend this place, the employees were very rude.

Do good work but highly over priced. Guy quote about 600.00 for brakes. They charge inflated amounts for the simplest items.

My suv broke down right in front of this place.(aggrivating and convenient at the same time. Hah) They were super friendly, took very little time in getting my issue fixed. I highly recommend these guys.

Ben and Sergio really know what their doing. Bruce the owner, really takes care of his employees. He's a great person. Takes care of what his customers need.
