Came with break issue, they fixed it precisely. They also found an issue with the engine belt before it running down. Thanks for extending the life of my old Nissan.Andre and their team are honest mechanic. The price is fair. They did the job in the correct way rather than the easy way.

Andy is an honest mechanic. Not the cheapest, but is honest. I purchased the car care club option. It is the way to go. Discounts on work and 4 oil changes. It saves so much in the long run.

One of the very few American Mom and Pop shops left. This review is long overdue88 Jeep Comanche-Difficult diagnosis and the owner himself test drove it with instruments attached onto the truck to diagnose the shutdown issue-SOLVEDBrothers Toyota Solara-Diagnosed elsewhere as clutch-replaced for small fortune-not the issue-they didn't want to hear it-took Solara here-Correctly diagnosed as broken bracket in the clutch pedal itself-Solved-Should have went here firstFormer Boss-2012 Ram 1500 crank no start-Correctly diagnosed as fuel pump relay inside tpm-Owner suggested to do a full bypass with an oem bypass kit-SOLVED-Not an issue since-Dealer wanted to install new fuse box with new relay inside-would have been an issue againBrother in law-Honda Accord from California- Wouldn't pass emissions-SOLVED-with practical solution making it AZ compliant and getting rid of the extra junk that fails $$$$$$$$This is the shop guys. Owners have the knowledge and experience. Very pleased, all those vehicles still running years later with no issues

I took my 2007 Saturn Vue to Bell Road Auto before and they got me right that s why I took my 2011 Juke there they fix my little bug in two days and she running smoothly. The customer service is great and I love they work with Snap and they even drove me home. Thank you guys for saving my car.

I was referred to Bell automotive by trusted friends and family members. I needed an oil change and belt replacement done before a last minute trip. Reinette at the front and Andre the mechanic were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. They were so patient with me and were also able to finish my car the same day. I am so appreciative of their help and the excellent quality of their work.

Thought it was a good shop but the service writer Andy is always drunk if you look around the shop you'll always find his shooters dude likes to drive customer cars drunk to only a matter of time before he wrecks someone's car

Quote for brake pad replacement on 2017 dodge ram was 1057$ hahaha that's NOT replacing rotars either. That 700$ more than everywhere else I've called. Over 300% higher than everywhere else is INSANE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I have come to Bell Rd Automotive a number of times. I started coming here simply due to it being a mile away from home. I come back because they are honest and do good quality work. I have an old car that has constant issues so things have added up. I get really frustrated and even when I m heated they are able to simplify things for me to understand what is going on and what they will be doing from there.They aren t cheap. But for the work they do, they are fair. You shouldn t aim for cheap anyways when it s your car.I appreciate the honesty. And I genuinely am impressed with how quick they get things done with how extensive some of the work can be.I have joined their car care club and even got a NAPA credit card through them for the benefits when I end up needing costly service. Been coming to Bell Road Automotive since I graduated college, and they have been my go-to auto shop since. Their customer service is top-notch and pricing is very fair for what they do. Loving the fact that they give back to our community and help our the local animal shelter too. Andy and Reinette are always so professional and courteous. This is going to be somewhat difficult since the owners are seemingly nice people.I brought my Wrangler JK to this shop for a general inspection and possible radiator leak as i was slowly losing coolant fluid.The Jeep overheated on my trip to Heber, i found out my coolant reserve was low, after replenishing the coolant the jeep was fine.Their inspection found a radiator leak and so it was recommended to replace it along with a cooling system flush.After this work was done, the Jeep is overheating past 2000RPM.They recommend replacing the thermostat.And then they replaced the thermostat again due to issues.Jeep is still overheating past 2000RPM.They recommend replacing the water pump.Same issue still.At this point, there was not much else to replace on the cooling system, so they recommend hooking up the computer and get some reading to find out what's going on.Clearly they didn't know what the problem was as they were replacing cooling components hoping to fix the issue.I lost faith in their ability, so i took my Jeep to a different mechanic.Same day, the other shop knew exactly what was going on.Bell Road Automotive had replaced my radiator and thermostat with after market parts, and so the jeep was overheating when load is applied to the engine as the after market parts couldn't keep up.Upon replacing the radiator and thermostat with genuine OEM parts by the new mechanic, the jeep is running perfectly.Bell road does not want to refund me this money as they say, they used OEM parts, and I didn't use them to fix the issue under their warranty.The new mechanic gave me the after market radiator and thermostat they replaced, i looked up the part #s and guess what i found... After market parts.In fact, the thermostat they used, says 'China' on it. And the radiator is made by Agility after market.What do you think?

This business came highly recommended but, I should have known better. The price changed multiple times after inspected and initial quote given. Asked for deposit for the part, but was told they couldn't do it that day. So we scheduled an appointment 2 days later. I dropped off the car at 8 am and was told it would be done by lunch. When I called at lunch car wasn't even started. They told me they may need it overnight. Just crazy amount of lies and deceit. I ended up picking up my car and taking it to the dealership. Less money and way better service.

I had an unexpected emergency of 3 lug bolts needing to be fixed ASAP on my tire. Not only did they fit me in but I got a ride home. The service was great and very reasonable.

I've been using Bell Road Auto for several years and they have always been able to help with all my car issues. Every time I have to leave my car, Reinette, has always so graciously given me a ride to my house, or work. I'll continue to use them and would recommend going here if you would like genuine people who will do their best to take care of your vehicles issues. They have always been so helpful. Thank you!

Recommended! I had an exhaust leak after replacing my catalytic converters myself. Took it to Bell Road Auto and they were able to find the issues and fix them so that I could pass emissions. Nice people and quick service, only thing is that I brought it in to get my A/C fixed and after I brought it home, the blower stopped working. I m not sure how cars work and it could totally be a coincidence but it is a little suspicious that my heat stopped working the day I brought it home . Especially since I saw another review saying their heat stopped working after bringing it in for their A/C. They did repair the blower, though, and had good service so I appreciate that! Even though it was $550. They even gave me a ride to pick up my car which was awesome.

I've used Bell Road Auto for several years now and have always had a good experience with them. They do an excellent job for a medium price. I've never had another problem with anything they've worked on. I will continue to use them for both my car and my truck. I've never had anyone pay such great attention to detail. Brought my car in on Friday morning and didn't get it back for over a week on the following Saturday. All that was done was a manufacturers new gas cap. Cost me $125, but felt like they were stealing from the state, as they charged the state over $400 in an emissions program. Never called me until the next Friday evening, and I always had to initiate communications to find out the status, whether I had to call or visit. When I did call on Tuesday, the person on the phone acted like I could just opt out of the state program and pick up the car if I wasn't happy with what was happening. What kind of customer service is that? Never coming back to this place. Arrogance isn't cool. I'm just not used to working with any auto repair shop that won't keep you posted on what's going on, but being a captured audience, they feel they can treat you like an afterthought and forget about you, because you aren't their customer and instead just a vehicle to the $ from the state.Service: Auto emissions testing

I needed someone to look at my vehicle issue very urgently and they were able to get me right in. They were quick to tell me the issue and how to fix it. We set a time for them to fix it and also found some other issues that I didn't know about and brought me back into the garage to show me the actual issues, which was really nice so I could see for myself. They fixed the main issue and then gave me a written quote for the other issues if I decided I wanted to repair them. At some point I'll go back to them to get these other issues fixed as I would not hesitate to use them again. Very friendly people and staff and everyone was very helpful. My 1988 Toyota Corolla recently failed emissions and I was put into the Voluntary Vehicle Repair Program to get my car fixed. So I took my car to Bell Road Automotive for the necessary repairs. That same day I received a quote to fix of $1,763.00 and I was told I need to have the carburetor rebuilt, a tune-up and a oil change. I was shocked by the very high price and when I asked if I could get the estimate in writing so I could see the cost breakdown the technician refused. I could not understand how they came to nearly $1,800.00 for the 3 services they recommended. So they wanted $900 from me and another $900 from the state. It s a total double - dipping scam. Plus the fact that they refused to put anything in writing to show how those 3 services equal $1,763.00 is a HUGE red flag. I had my own mechanic work on the carburetor after I failed the 1st time and he changed the oil then. So I currently have less that 10 miles on the new oil change. The carburetor was rebuilt less that 3 years ago and I have a new distributor, cap, wires and spark plugs all done 6 months ago. I kept all the receipts. So, I do not believe the technician even pulled the dipstick on the car, because if he had, he would have seen the oil was clear, the carburetor was clean and the spark plugs were new. The whole experience was repulsive as if they thought I knew nothing about car repairs and how much they should cost. It is a 1988 Toyota !!! A brand new carburetor cost $300. to rebuild the one I have cost half that amount. A oil change cost $40. and a tune-up, another $300. these are all high end ballpark estimates that do not even total $900 when you add the cost of labor. But since the maximum paid by the State of Arizona is $900. they come up with this outrageous total to over inflate the price x 2 to take advantage of both the customer and the state program designed to help people to double their revenue. Steer clear of this place. Unless you like over paying and being scammed. I reported this incident to the officials at the VVRP, the state s attorney generals office and the better business bureau. They are NOT accredited with the BBB. Steer clear, buyer beware or at least get a kiss before they f**k you. You WILL pay more, much, much more.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We've always had a great experience with the guys here. My fiance and I have been bringing our vehicles here for everything since moving to Phoenix. When we first got into town, we came in for oil changes and to get a general check because I didn't trust our last mechanic, and there was unfortunately a lot wrong with my car. They offered to do the work needed to make it safe, but Andre said that it would only be temporary and advised I just get a different car. He could have made a lot of money on those repairs but chose to be honest with my best interest in mind. I did get a new car, and they were able to give me a general run down on what the car needed so that I could make an informed decision. Since then, they've been quick and flexible whenever something goes wrong, and they're also great about making sure you understand what's wrong and what options you have. The car care program is great too!! Andre and Reinette are both so friendly, and I usually stick around to chat a while when I drop off. Couldn't recommend them more.

The most honest mechanic shop I ve been to. Car wouldn t start today after getting gas in Buckeye. I had it towed 46 miles to Bell Road Automotive because I knew if I didn t take it to them I may not get an honest opinion elsewhere. After all that it ended up being loose connections to my computer. They cleaned everything and tighten them up and I was only charged for one hour of labor. This is the second time I thought I was about to spend a lot of money and then randy calls and says well I got good news. I was at their mercy and they are always super honest and I trust this shop so much. They are all super nice as well!

They're ONE OF THE BEST! My husband and I just starting out are having a heck of a time with our vehicle. Been to other auto shops and have had horrible service and put our car in worse shape, until I brought my car in to bell road automotive. The things that need to be fixed get done properly and in a timely manner. They COMMUNICATE with you each step of the way! They support halo pets, and sell avon on the side. It's a one stop shop! I would NOT recommend this business to anyone wanting to repair their ac. We spent thousands of dollars to get the ac completely rebuilt. I ended up with no working heater after. This is the 5th time in 2 years my car does still not having fully working ac. I have brought it back to them the previous 4 times, most recently a couple months ago. Wanted me to spend more money of course. The man didn't even call when my car was ready after having it all day. He stated he called the numbers in the system, even though I gave the updated number on the paper HE ASKED ME TO FILL OUT. Once again my kids are suffering in this heat and now I have to take it somewhere else to actually have it fixed.
