I took my car here for the first time at 8am to get an oil change and they were very quick in getting my car done. I greatly appreciate Dan s honesty in explaining some items to keep in mind for the future regarding my car. He didn t use any scare tactics and was genuine in explaining which aren t really a concern at the moment. Thank you so much. It s hard to find honest mechanics and honesty was expecting scare tactics that I m used to. Will definitely be bringing my car here in the near future.

Would not recommend. This company does not inspect their work after completion and expects the car owner to pay for the company s mistakes. We brought our car in due to an AC leak, and despite the fact that we were told it was fixed, the refrigerant completely leaked out the next day. We were told they did an inspection afterwards but this obviously was not the case. After an actual inspection, they found a hole in the AC suction line. We brought a part for them to install, and the next day we once again heard clicking coming from the hood. After a simple inspection at the shop, they told us that the hose we brought had been missing a piece to keep the hose from shaking which was causing yet again another AC leak. This should have been communicated to us before installation of the part or after an inspection immediately afterwards. So $500 later and the AC is still broken. Their recommendation was to buy another more expensive line from a car dealership and install it again for $700.Save your time and money and go to a shop that will do it correctly the first time.

I trust AAA with my car. Appointments are helpful, but they work quickly and communicate throughout the process. They also warn you when it's getting close to time for certain maintenance like replacing filters.

I've been taking my vehicles here for several years now, since 2018, and I am confident in both the quality of work and the transparency, or honesty, of the service advisers. It's not easy to find a mechanic worth trusting, but I have found this office to be a good choice.

Im not going to share anything right now. . But. One thing I do know don't go to the AAA auto shop at 1050 E Camelback. Sistas & Bros. They are Racist & discriminative against Elderly women. They took me for $160 for diagnostic test . My car was leaking near the front I took it to AutoZone to get a reading several weeks ago & Got a reading that it was emissions canister valve needed replacing. I went to AAA on 12/9/23 I told the tech at the front desk about at AAAit looked at the Man at the front was not very friendly with me he was very short with me for no reason at all. I ended up paying out of my pocket $160 just to do a diagnostic test. He gave me a printout of what the issues that my car had . None of the money went towards fixing the vehicle. Of course I couldn't afford what was on the paperwork . I told him I would bring the vehicle in the following week. Which was on my birthday. Dec 16 Sat I took it in to check what was leaking. . Unfortunately I could not afford $1000 so I went with the brake inspection. Which was part of the problem on the printout diagnostic which was $49.99 plus tax to inspect . I left the vehicle there so he could inspect them &;paid the $49.99 came back 2 hours later to pick up the vehicle and he told me calibers needed replacing. And there was a leak from brakes & it was important that I fixed it . Which would be another 1000 Well I didn't have the money so I left & I would come when I get the money well when I got back into my vehicle to drive off I hard a whistling sound near the front of my vehicle & as I continued to drive my vehicle my brakes were hard to push & it wasn't like that before I bought to AAA. They had closed and it was a Saturday so I figured but would wait until Monday to take the vehicle back in to see why it was acting that way all of the sudden after looked at it. I left several messages as well with the GM. Monday came no success bin resolving the matter. Would not give me my money back for the brake inspection which was a total joke. Shame on you AAA. I'm cancelling all of my accounts with you

I highly recommend AAA for auto repairs! I started taking my car here since I'm a AAA member and they have consistently lower prices than other mechanics and do good work. Most importantly they are honest - I have never had someone recommend or push me towards a "repair" or maintenance I didn't actually need to keep my vehicle functioning. They are the only ones I trust and I will keep bringing my car back!

Overall the experience was not great. My boyfriend had a good experience previously when he took his car to get serviced there over a month ago so he suggested to go there since I was having car issues. At first everything was fine and the staff was great but as time went on, everything changed. I figured everything would be done in a timely fashion but it didn t turn out that way. I had an appointment at 7:30 that morning and my car was not looked at until after 3 that afternoon. What s the point of having an appointment if your car won t be seen in a timely manner. I was told by the rep in the location that they were short a mechanic that day so I ll give them that. Once I was initially told what was wrong with my car, the office told me they would start working on my car the next day. Once my car was being worked on, I got another phone call about something else being wrong with my car from what I was initially told. I was frustrated about this and I made a comment to the office in regards to this and was told by the representative in the office that it s your car, I m just the one that tells you what s wrong with your car. That was very unprofessional. No kind of empathy whatsoever. I currently work in customer service and I know not to make comments like that to patients who are upset or frustrated. The representative at the office made it seem like it was my fault that my car was messed up and it s my problem not his. He did try to compensate me with discounts to offset the costs of the repairs as best he could but by that point I was just frustrated with the office and wanted my car to be fixed so I wouldn t have to deal with them anymore. On top of all that, I did get the call that my car was done and I let the office know that I wouldn t be able to pick up my car until the next day due to my work schedule and was told that was fine. I then got another call later on that same day asking if I could pay for my car that day since the mechanic needed to be paid before the end of the week. Again totally unprofessional. If I already mentioned that I wouldn t pay for my car until I went to pick it up the next day, why would the office call me back needing a payment beforehand. I understand that the location was short a mechanic but that shouldn t be my issue to fix . The office should be able to pay its workers without pressuring customers to hurry up and pay. My experience started out great but was not great by the end. I m not sure if I would go back in the future based on this experience. It s hard finding a good mechanic out here in Phoenix and I thought I found a good spot but after this I m not so sure.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

I have been bringing my 2011 Mazda 3 to this store for many years and they have been phenomenal every single time. The team prioritizes issues in order of importance so my budget doesn't take a big hit. Techs explain everything in a way that makes sense to someone who knows nothing about cars. I definitely recommend AAA specifically the store on Camelback & 10th St.Service: Oil change

I had my SUV towed here last year. I needed my battery cable tightened and the gentleman behind the surface counter came out and fixed it. No charge. I would definitely recommend this location.

I have been to many, many, auto shops over the years driving various vehicles that have already lived a long a fruitful life but are still chugging along. I know the drill, I go for an oil change and they tell me I need $3000 worth of preventative maintenance. Today AAA Auto repair won the Sheister Award and set the record for BS when they presented me with a SIX PAGE list of unnecessary repairs totaling $11,126.78.I drive a 20 year old Saturn with 185 thousand miles on it worth $2k on its best day, but she runs like a champ! Anyway, COME ON! $11k+ practically replacing every moving part on the car, all WORKING parts, mind you. Who in their right mind would spend eleven thousand dollars fixing parts that aren t broken on a two thousand dollar car?! NICE TRY, AAA. I was appalled by the outrageous attempt to take advantage of me. I will not be returning to this dishonest auto shop and I will tell my peers to do the same.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Good place to get your car fixed. Sales guys are personable and caring. Love the way they offer Lyft service to get you home or to work and returned to pick up your car. Sales guys are knowledgeable about the work being done. Really appreciate the extra explanations. Parking is limited when it gets busy but understabale due to their excellent service. There's a unisex bathroom for customers. It's kept very tidy. Definately will be back in future for additional services.

I ve come here for oil changes. The work gets done, but I m not a fan of the employees here. They are typically stand-offish and give me redneck vibes. I find it irritating that every time I pick up my black car it s sitting in the hot sun without the sun shade up. If you see I m using one why not put it back up? Takes two seconds. Yet I hear them telling other customers how they left their car running with the a/c blowing for them. They even left my car unlocked in front of the shop with all my belongs inside. When I brought up these concerns to the guy upfront he had a messed up look on his face and just said ok . Mechanics do good work but the customer service here is trash. I ll find another AAA auto going forward.

First of all, if you do not have AAA you must get it. I have used it now twice to tow our daughter's vehicle, and this last time my transmission went out in front of Terminal 3 at the airport. I called AAA for a tow and they were to my rescue in 30 minutes tops. They let me ride in the tow truck and took me to AAA Autorepair and they kept my car and gave me a lyft to work and promptly called me with the details as to what the car needed, how much, and how long they would have the car. The next day I took care of business and exactly 7 days later as stated, the car was fixed and running smoothly. Loved the service, the thoughtfulness, and the communication. They guarantee their work so that is a plus as well. Great service and highly recommended!

Every time I got to this location they are honest and thorough. They treat me like family and I always feel reassured that they are giving me an honest assessment to keep my vehicle running without persuading me to do unnecessary maintenance. As a woman, we often struggle with repair shops and being taken advantage of, not here. I never have to worry about that! I am moving to Alaska, but when I return to the valley, I will make sure no matter where I live, my cars will continue to get serviced by these guys! Always grateful for them!

I had a particular situation with a 79 Cadillac that I was transporting from Palm Springs to denver. I had to leave the car after hours and also pick it up after hours without actually meeting Mike or Nick.Their service was top notch, Mike clearly explained the repairs that needed to be done and also made sure to tell me the repairs that could wait.Having no experience with AAA Camelback road I can say for sure now that they are incredibly professional, concise an incredibly pleasant to work with.Thank you to Mike, Nick and all the staff at AAA Camelback road, you made a bad situation into an excellent experience. If you have any auto needs in the Camelback road Phoenix area I would definitely recommend Mike, Nick and all the staff at AAA Camelback road.

Mike was knowledgeable and helpful. My truck was towed in by AAA. They were very busy, but I felt like my vehicle was in good hands. They ordered a Lyft to take me home. Looks like my vehicle should be done earlier than expected.I was given a quote to fix it and Mike gave me a break down of parts and labor. I would recommend this location.

Pitiful customer service! I have been there at the end of January and I was with a Caucasian friend. That time, the service was satisfactory. This time I was with my brother and it was nowhere near customer friendly service. Plus I had a mobile tech tell me that I needed to take my vehicle to the service center to have the battery charged for a few hours. When I get there. I'm told that the battery is dead, I need a new one. And that all three of the batteries they have that fit my vehicle are dead. And I am going to have to call a mobile technician to come back out and install the new battery. So, I went there for nothing and wasn't even spoken to with any empathy for all that I had been through. No friendly customer service.

They're really nice guys, but a Mercedes Benz needs a specialized Mercedes Benz mechanic. They aren't equipped to handle a Benz, sorry.

We spoke with one of the managers before the car was brought in by AAA towing. They were supposed to email when it arrived safely. Nearly three hours later we called and got the other manager who took offense when we inquired. First manager said they would put it in the charger and it may take overnight. Second a-hole guy said they didn t have time to put it in the charger till tomorrow morning. We mentioned they had had it for three hours and that sent the guy into major a-hole behavior. We only expected them to do what they said they would do. And obviously they don t live up to that

The guys here are awesome. I had a recurring issue with my car and they figured out the problem and fixed it. They really don't sell you on things you do not need and are nice to deal with.

My daughter had her car towed to this shop on 11/21/17 because it would not start. She was informed by the tow truck driver that it wasn t her battery, but the AAA repair shop replaced her battery for the cost of $182.46 which I believe she was overly charged. Three weeks later she got in her car and again it would not start. Once again, she had it towed to the AAA repair shop which in turn they now stated that her coils needed to be replaced which was going to cost another $432.84 and he also stated that her back calibers were frozen and that very shortly she would not have any breaks. The cost to fix that was $618. A couple more weeks passed, and she was taking a trip to Riverside, CA and had a couple night stay in Indio and when she got ready to leave once again her car would not start. We had it towed to a AAA shop repair in the area and he could not find anything wrong with the car other than he felt she had a short somewhere. He based this off him being able to start the car once he did some maneuvering with the shifter. As time has passed we have done some investigating work of our own and feel that she has a short in her theft control. So, I really feel that we may have just spent $1200 for much of nothing. Would not recommend this place for I am not sure if they really know what they are doing.

After my car stalled in the middle of the freeway, called AAA for a tow. Driver arrived ten minutes before they said he would, quickly got my car loaded up and hauled it to this AAA facility. Staff was absolutely SUPER. Pleasant, helpful, quickly diagnosed the problem and had things fixed the same day.Staff could not have been more helpful! I will be returning here the next time I need vehicle work done and will be spreading the word to friends and family. I wish this facility was closer to me home, but the superb service is worth the little extra drive!

On Jan 18th I Called AAA roadside assistance to have my car towed to a AAA approved repair facility. I have been with AAA for the past 6 years and have always had an excellent experience. Until my car was town to this location 1050 E Camelback Road phoenix, AZ 85014.I requested a simple oil change and vehicle inspection that is complementary to AAA gold members. I received a phone call from Jimmy the next day telling me per management, they were refusing to work on my vehicle and said I needed to have it towed away asap or I would be charged a per $20 per day storage fee. I asked jimmy to have to manager give me a call. I never spoke to the manager but did receive and email from him telling me due to the carburetor having spider webs inside of it, they were not able to do a simply oil change/vehicle inspection. The email came from Travis Mock threating to impound the car if I didn't have it off of his lot asap.I was out of town at the time and had to come back early because I didn't want my car impounded. I had to burn two AAA service calls and had my car towed to my house. I was never able to get my oil changes on this car and am out 2 service calls. I'm sorry but spider webs in the engine compartment is the pettiest excuse not to service a vehicle that I ever heard. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Especially if you have been a AAA member for 6 years. The management was dismissive to me and my vehicle and I will never even think about going back to this shop.
