A & B Auto is by far the most honest car repair service in the area, if not all of Phoenix. They never recommend work be done that's not needed and you can always count on the job being done right. Highly highly recommend

I had questions on a ck engine light that had come on. He advised me to buy a new gas cap from the dealership. He turned off the dummy light, no charge. This is the second time they have just helped me at no cost with information. The other time he recommended the dealership and it turned out to be a recall, fixed for no charge. I will recommend them.

Having just discovered this shop, we already took our vehicle in twice this summer. Once to diagnose/resolve a check engine light, and the other to get our brakes done. Both experiences were excellent. We are very happy to have found a smart, honest (including fair pricing), and efficient mechanic. Thanks A & B

There is a reason this mechanic shop has nothing but good reviews. The staff is friendly, honest, experienced, and reasonably priced. I went there yesterday to get a new alternator and they got it finished in 4 hours and it was only around $280 including labor! If I would have went anywhere else, they would have charged me at least $400 and tried to tack on more "urgent" things to fix as well. Being a woman, it is hard to find honest and reputable mechanics out there that won't dupe me and charge me an arm and a leg for repairs. Their customer service really is world class as Jose drove me home & picked me up before and after service. I even added on an oil change at the last minute and Jose completed it within 7 minutes! I highly recommend this shop to ANYONE and EVERYONE looking for a complete auto care service that is honest, quick, reasonably priced, and that give world class customer service!

Went into to have my car analyzed and repaired. All told it took two hours. Work was done at a very fair price. I wasn't told all sorts of "other things" were wrong with my vehicle. I would take my car to A&B vs. taking it to a "shade tree" mechanic anytime. Very transparent and friendly!

I couldn't post my review without giving them one star but they deserve to go to jail at the very least replace my truck. I had my truck towed to his shop only to have my truck disappear from their shop while I was out of town. No one can tell me what happened to it. The worst place I've ever gone to. I'm a single mom of 4 and grandmother of 13 and to have them do this to me. It was my only vehicle and now I have no vehicle . Its truly horrible how some shops prey on single woman.

I came with AC problem and they quickly found that it is just a broken fan. The owner is a really nice guy, didn't charge me for trying to install a part that didn't fit right (I bought from O'Reillys). He also feeds the stray cats that wandered onto his property.

At work, I got in an argument over who had the best mechanic. Turns out my coworker and I were bragging on the same shop: A&B, which has saved me thousands over the years. When I moved across town, I tried a new shop (Kelly Clark on Bell), which quoted me $680 to fix a power steering problem that affected my brake lights. Took my baby back to A&B for a second opinion, turns out it was just a bulb or a fuse. A&B didn't even charge me the $2 to fix it. When car demons strike now, I don't care if I'm all the way out in Scottsdale & the water pump blows, I pay the extra dough to get towed to my guys in Sunnyslope, who always get it right and give me a great deal.

Beware of this shop!!!I took my car into this shop to fix 2 things, an oil leak and a service engine soon light (P0440). After one week and three attempts to replace the intake manifold gasket I got the car back. It was running worse than when I took it in. The problem after the 3 failed attempts replacing the gaskets was they did not even put a simple pcv valve back in the intake. A week later the service engine soon light is back on with the original P0440 alarm and the car will not pass emissions testing. After more than $800.00 the car is no better than when I took it in and I was blamed for bad planning by Jose. So some how I am to blame for there mistakes!?!? Use this shop at your own risk because they DO NOT know what they are doing.

Berj (i think thats the owners name but im not sure on the spelling) is very helpful and also very reasonable on his pricing. Have been taking my car here to get serviced for the past year and i have always had a great experience dealing with this company. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good auto shop

The review by Yvonne is nothing but lies I've known the guys at A&B Automotive for 20 years they've never done anybody wrong they're honest good working people this person tried to run a scam on the shop towing in a vehicle that was vandalized one lug nut on each tire missing engine parts missing the exhaust and then trying to get a third party to pay for it she was called numerous times by the shop she was called numerous times by me to come pick up the vehicle after she let it sit for 3 weeks she was told many times to come pick it up and that it would be in the parking lot waiting for the shop ate to cost of the time they had in it this was a $500 truck that would have needed over $10,000 worth of repairs just to make a run nothing but lies you don't see any bad reviews about a&b Automotive except for hers she's nothing more than a liar I tried to get over on somebody for free taking advantage of the shop and her friend was the third party that agreed to fix one or two things not Salvage a truck in 20 years you cannot find anybody that has a bad thing to say about these people

yvonne yvette also known escort as leafy os a lair and a fat mouth she was told for two weeks to move the truck or it would be left in parking .i have servarl texts messages from her that i sent and she responded to over the period of two weeks also have copies of text to and from her daughter mary .would she asked to go get it before it was towed away .she had left town after she was asked to get it. She is a con and liar and if any one deserves to go to jail it she be her ..she stole my daughters purse and bank cards got her and her son evicted .and has done way more shameing things.i dont even want or care to say .the owner of this company is a very well known man in the community is very honest man has been there at the location for many many years .he is not a theft nor a lair. So hey leafy get a clue. GROWN UP AND GET RIGHT .LEAVE THESE PEOPLE ALONE AND QUIT LYEING !!!
