Had appointment for 1st time slot for oil change and tire rotation. After sitting there for an hour and a half I went to check on the progress and was told they were waiting on a filter. There s an auto supply place practically next door! I said I would have walked down and got the filter for them had I known. Not sure how long I would have sat there. The clerk was very polite and then personally went to get the filter. Not too happy as I had an 9 am appointment that I m now going to be late for. Didn t know you had to a lot 2+ hours for a oil change and tire rotation when yiu had the first appointment of the day.

This was my first time coming back to Big O tires in a while. New faces not a big dealI went to the extreme of making an appt for an oil change for my car. 9:00. I was there 15 minutes early and checked in with a non-smiling "Courtney" at the front desk. She did great me but with NO smile and I felt I was interrupting whatever she was doing.She went out and checked my mileage & got me all checked on.Now an appt to me means I have set aside this time with them to get service on my car.9:30 came and I was still sitting...my car as well. I asked Courtney if there were running behind...she said curtly.."No."10:00 came and my 9:00 appt still had not started. I was going to ask her when it would start. But she had gone to the bank.I heard her talking to other customers...suggestion...maybe she needs to go work on the carsSo I asked the other gentleman that was there. He said that she had put 2 appts ahead of me.I didn't feel like staying 2 hours more on my day off so I asked for my keys back.I left and went to Jiffy Lube.They were smiling and very happy to see me.I will not be back to Big O. EVER.THANK YOU COURTNEY FOR THE TERRIBLE SERVICE.*****I also received a rather condescending respond from I guess the "head office". making it sound like I arrived at a busy time.Well...when I arrived there was just one other person in the lobby. Busy time or not there is NO excuse for the sad treatment given by COURTNEY.Wish I had been able to have Michael helping me. From what I saw....the customers really liked him and his graciousness.I will never be back to Big O and will happily tell all that I know why.

Was a loyal customer for over 10 years. But I haven't gone in a while because the customer service is horrid. Noticed my tire light was on and it's super close to me so I Pulled up and everyone had a "I hate my job" look on their face. Not to mention I was never greeted or welcomed or even talked to at all just Sat there awkwardly for a few minutes and then they came to check my tires and barely said any words. The few words that were spoken to me was if I knew what my tire pressure should be. But they work at a tire place I feel that's something they should know.. Very awkward for a customer. Later when getting home I noticed my tire pressure light never came off. My boyfriend said they forgot to reset the tire pressure when they were finished to make the light turn off, so I called and they were telling me an hour wait for their mistake and to do something that takes less then 3 minutes and Should have been done after they added air to my tires. This is one of many reasons why I don't go there anymore. Especially this location is filled usually with a lot of older folks and you would think they would have better customer service.

Used this Big O location as our go to, for any of our used vehicle needs, for 20 plus years and counting!Noticed a small leak antifreeze leak from my 96' Cadillac and got the chills!This is my A to B car and that location just did extensive work on my cooling system and even with their fair pricing, it set me back in the neighborhood of $700.So to see a leak on a car 25+ years old, I was sweating bullets, because I'm having thoughts of, "money pit?"I called up Big O immediately and Russell answered the phone. He was new to this location and I filled him in on the extensive work done most recently and my concerns.He of course, had the vehicle's history of work done at this location (4243 E. Main St. Mesa, Az 85205).He said, "bring it right in and we'll see what's up?" He kinda gave me a scare when it was mentioned that a leak within the block, "may be the death of that car."As with most during this COVID-19 age, money is tight and unplanned expenditures are a potential nightmare!I allowed them the flexibility to get to it when they could by leaving it overnight. I suggest doing that if an emergency shows up and an appointment wasn't made. I stayed in touch w/Russell the following day and had good news, as well as," we have a block leak test to do and we are waiting on the materials delivery." "We should have it done by the end of the day."They close at 6:00 pm on Friday and I called back at 5 p.m. I spoke to Mike, and he said, "I was just about to call you, your car is ready."Reluctantly I said Mike, "What are the damages?" I had a full synthetic oil change added to the work as well. When Mike, told me the price, I was beyond relieved!!!I got down there, Russell, said the mechanic Andrew, took exceptional care of your concerns, did an expert work and, even said, "he, wants to buy your car when you sell!"You know you got personalized work done when you hear that, and now it feels like family!Russell went over the bill and every expense, every allowance, and price discount for being a loyal customer and now again my expectations were exceeded.Please trust me when I tell you, look no further than my Big O in Mesa on Main St. with your vehicle needs.Talk to Russell or Mike and they will be professional, understanding, patient and FAIR!James J. I bought a tire from them last year, this year and had a leak with a nail in thought I would check with them first to check on repairing it. They said it be over $30 to repair it. Check with discount tires they repaired it for no charge. Just thought everyone should know.

This place is a joke these guys were our go to tire shop for the last 4 years and have lost all our business. We sent a Mercedes Benz CLS 550 in to have new tires mounted and balanced at a cost of $100 which was double what we used to pay before the business was recently sold. But regardless we accepted. They told us they wanted to put a new tire on at an additional $300 which again I wasn t happy about but accepted. After installing tires on all 4 wheels it was at that point they realized these wheels were the wrong offset for the car and they couldn t install them so they called us to tell us they would charge us to put the wheels back on the stock wheel at an additional $100. I thought it was silly to do this without even checking to see if the wheels even fit. I again paid and shut my mouth because I understand stuff happens but when they lost or threw out one of my factory wheels and gave us the car back on a spare it drew the line for me. They told us they would replace it but after weeks of checking in and talking to the manager Mike. He said he wouldn t be responsible and told us to pound sand. He cursed out our employee and told us they didn t need out business. We ll now they re not going to get it and I ll recommend that others don t go there as well. They charged us $500 to do absolutely nothing and have been nothing but rude. They re offer was taking care of us in future business your not getting any future business from us. This place is going down hill fast.

This is One of 2 Big O Tires I have been to in 10 years, and I will keep coming to this one. Have had 10 Tires bought at this Main St location and am always more than satisfied with the Service and Product I get.

I bought four 40k tires in 2022 and one blew out after 5k miles and I had to pay full price for another, they wouldn t honor the rotation warranty and the service person was as rude as rude can be! Cortney had the worse attitude and either needs more customer service training or needs to fired!

It took two and a half hours for an oil change. They didn't even move my car in for an hour then I asked for a air filter also and they've got to put that in after 2 and 1/2 hours I just walked. Probably will never be back

Stopped for an oil change..... all of the oil leaked out of my car, no oil registered on the dip stick & warning lights on dash.I was told to bring it back in so they could check it. Ummm.... no! I'm not driving my car with 0 oil and a warning light!They sent the same guy to my house since I refused to drive my car to their location to "fix" the problem by adding oil.I called corporate to make a complaint.Had my car towed to Mercedes Benz & Beamer to inspect the car.They found during the inspection that the " O ring" was not in the correct position.They corrected the issue, added oil, and cleaned all of the oil from underneath my car.During all of this, I was NEVER informed that in order to get reimbursed, the costs associated I would have to go through their contractractors.After I was told that the amount I paid MBB to correct their negligence was " OUTRAGEOUS!"You know what outrageous, the way Big O has handled , or better yet, NOT HANDLED the situation is "OUTRAGEOUS!"STILL WAITING ON BIG O TO RESPOND TO MY EMAIL........Out over $500 for an oil change!!!!!

Bought tires for my wife s car almost two years ago and had a great experience, unfortunately two of her tires are currently separated and Big O will not honor the warranty we purchased. Apparently the store manager can tell what caused the tires to go bad from the parking lot as they never even attempted to pull the car into the shop. Of course if a tire is no longer round because of separation they will wear down uneven, I just do not understand why they wouldn t even look at the car let alone honor their warranty.

Under excellent new management! Many thanks go to Alberto, Micah, and crew. The entire staff went over and above regarding customer service, from the initial bid to completion of service. I have 4 brand new tires and the satisfaction of having received professional, knowledgeable, and personable customer service. They called me that morning pre-appointment to let me know the tires were there, and they were ready whenever I was! The next day I received a text asking if all was still satisfactory. Amazing! Thank you for a 5 Star experience, and I will be a repeat customer!

I had a appointment for a front wheel alignment. Even with a scheduled time slot for my repairs they had my vehicle for over four hours. I had to contact them to find out my vehicles completion. Plan on taking your vehicle back for accurate repairs! They couldn't even get a simple front wheel alignment right the first time, and had to wait for my vehicle a second time. JUST SAY NO TO BIG O!!! Don't waste your time with them.

This is a very busy place. Called to see if they had tires for my car and first available appointment. It was in a couple of hours. Professional and friendly. Has a clean waiting room. Was in and out with no problems. Awesome job.

Against my better judgment I returned to Big O on East Main Street in Mesa. I've had previous problems with Big O such as a serpentine belt they installed coming off on the freeway. Being lied to about tire rotation etc....so again Against my better judgment I called Big O for service on mu truck needed for a trip and was charged over $1000 .in just a few miles driven the problem was back so I was right back in the same position except they have my 1000. Stay away from this place. Since it was sold and Charlie is not longer the manager it has steadily gone downhill.

Called around to several shops in the area looking to order some specific rated and ply tires, Casey knew exactly what I was looking for and got the right ones on the way even after a manufacturer error.

It used to be a great shop with excellent customer service when Dylan or Casey used to work in there.Now they have 2 black guys hooked to their phones all day long. I just left there after been waiting for any of them two to ask me why was I there for or something, I WAIT THERE FOR 35 MINUTES,and never got attention from them.

Don t ever go to this big O tire location. They will mess up your car. They charge me almost 1200 bucks for oil change and couple other things later I found out nothing was done. Now I have to take my car somewhere else for same issue. I probably will calling the credit card company and filing a dispute since they are not willing work with me..

There are two Big O's that are closer. However, after negative experiences at they I will not return. I was fully expecting to have to replace all four tires (As I actually picked out the type and reserved them, thinking there might not be enough tread left on them). However, all that was needed as removal of a screw and be patched, with no charge. An honest business practice like that is beyond price.

I needed an oil change and called Big O tires on Main Street and Greenfield Rd in Mesa. They brought me in that afternoon and my experience was great. Customer service was efficient, the oil change was completed timely, they answered my questions to additional concerns and used floor mats for shoe/boot debris! I left happy! Satisfaction in current situations can be mediocre but not there!

I paid for an alignment that they didn't do. I brought it back and they admitted they forgot. Even though that's what I brought it in for. But the worst part is the guy test driving my truck was gone for around 15min. Wife said check the camera to see what he was doing. When I checked the SD card every video was accounted for accept the test drive. Yup, an extra long test drive and a camera manually turned off by the driver. cant believe it....Also playing R rated inappropriate movies in waiting area. These guys are a real piece of work.The camera has front and rear view which is why you see A and B videos.

They price gouge women. I understand that everybody's entitled to make a profit in their business, but charging full mechanic book prices for every little thing raises a 10-minute job cost into hundreds of dollars. My daughter was stranded, I had no choice but to pay their Ransom. Enjoy that quick buck you just made today fellas.

I bought tires at this location last year for my RV. I was told to bring it back for a 5,000 mile rotation. I went in to the shop today and was told by both employees that, we dont rotate tires on RV s. Didn t sound like they wanted to help me. I went to a different Big O s tire location and was told it could be done, with no problem. Avoid the Main Street location, if you need tires for your RV.

Great customer service and very friendly and clean. Not most tire shops are clean. Michael was a great help he got me in and out fast. Recommend 10:/10
