Simply the best. The quality service Dustin and his team provided started when I walked in and it didn't stop til my car was fixed, I was out the door. Just a real genuine connection, with empathy, knowledge, and hard work. Originally, I had come to SSC because I'd gotten an estimate from Firestone which I thought was too high. Sure enough, Dustin and his team went over the estimate with me and said they could do better than Firestone. And They Did! Amazing interactions with everyone I crossed at SSC Auto Repair. Clean waiting room with chairs and a TV.

My hatch on my SUV stopped working and so I had originally brought it to the dealership who recommended over $2K worth of work!! $1500 for just the hatch. I decided to take my car back and at least start with replacing the battery which was also recommended. The hatch began working again, but then stopped. I didn t trust the dealership and their costs so I took my vehicle in to SSC. It took them all of 5 mins to determine that just a setting on my car needed to be updated after the battery exchange. I appreciated how quickly they determined the problem and I expected to pay the standard $75-100 diagnostic fee as they still had to figure out the problem, but this was also MUCH cheaper than the RIDICULOUS price the dealership was charging me!! However, the kind folks at SCC didn t charge me!!! What great service!! I will absolutely go to them for any future car needs!! What an honest, thorough and generous business. I very much appreciate this easy and quick fix and that they charged me a VERY fair price ($0)! Thank you SSC!!!!

I'm giving a 1 star rating because I was over charged for the work SSC at the Gilbert location . My vehicle was overheating when I took it in and the parts charged was way over priced. The labor alone was $800 and Honestly speaking replacing a thermostat, coolant and sliding 2 hoses should not cost $1600. That was a ripoff and I stand by this review and they can decide not to offer me any service again. I will post on google as well because this kind of over priced Service sucks.Please beware of going to this shop do some research and compare prices.

They provided me with a detailed condition report and a very detailed estimate. They got it done on time and on budget. Great work.Very impressed. Will definitely be returning.

SSC took great care of my car and had great communication throughout the process - start to finish. I called with an AC clutch issue. They had my car in that afternoon and I got it back the next day with a new compressor and cold AC again. They also identified another issue I was not aware of and showed photo evidence and explained roughly how long I had before it would need to be repaired or roadside me. I'm grateful for the integrity and quality of work performed!Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Been coming here for years, always had a fabulous experience took all 3 of our cars here, always trusted them and had a good rapport with the guy who helped us out. We have a warranty that covers the oil change and never had an issue for the past couple years. We come in and get oil changes, have taken cars in for diagnostics and previous cars as well. Today the owner said he does not want our business anymore with the warranty because of the hassle of pressing buttons and making a phone call to the warranty I am assuming. He said it takes 15 min of his time and oil changes are freebies he makes no money. Extremely disappointed and will ensure I let my friends and family who also go to him not to in the future as well. Truly wish the guy whos typically there was today, never had a bad experience till this.

I used this company for the first time about a month ago based on glowing reviews. They were so kind & helpful on the phone. This was for my daughters car that needed a new starter. They were honest & reliable and took care of the problem in a timely manner. I think we ve found our new mechanic for the family! Keep up the good work!

These guys are FANTASTIC both at the Chandler and Gilbert locations! Just moving here from Illinois they were reccomended to me in a community group by several people. They helped me make an excellent used car purchase for my son, the first car I brought to be checked out would have been a money pit. I have found my new mechanic! Thanks SSC, look forward to bringing in our family cars for any work moving forward!

Greg and his team did a great job helping our car with an emissions problem! There was a snag on the car s end that prevented us from getting it taken care of for a few days, but they did a good job keeping us informed of its status and even offered above and beyond service to get everything squared away once fixed. Can't say enough good things about this shop. I have been a customer for almost twenty years and they have been a constant reliable service in my life. Just got my truck back and it's running great. It's good to have a dependable go-to mechanic and with SSC I have that. I was especially appreciative during my time in the Army years ago, knowing my wife could take our vehicle to honest professionals. Now as a veteran I still take my truck there if ever I have an issue. Just want to thank SSC for the quick turn-around on my repairs. Had a great experience with them as always. Honest and fair priced quiet and diagnosis and even told me that it was time to just call it quits on my 2008 Hyundai rather than pushing the sale of the extensive repairs! Will be sure to be back with my new car (but hopefully not any time soon!!)

Third time I ve come to them and always feel like I was treated with respect and courtesy. Prices seem fair. and they didn t charge me when they couldn t replicate the sound it was making when I brought it in. The only reason, they didn t get five stars is that this last time they charged me $120 to check my codes with a test drive. How refreshing to finally find an auto shop that is honest. Only took me 37 years. Brought my vehicle in for a brake inspection and planned on shelling out $700+ because my first estimate was to have everything redone, only for them to let me know I had plenty of life left in my pads. No safety issues, just need to revamp the rotors and pads when it s time. Greg was awesome and trustworthy. They also have a rewards program that saves you 5% on everything. My girlfriend and I just purchased a second car and already made an appointment for these guys to go through and inspect it. Won t be going anywhere else anymore. I have been patronizing SSC Auto Repair for over 10 years. They are consistent with quality work, competitive prices and most important do not try to up-sell. If a component does not need replacement they will tell you. The guys have my full trust. Great place.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!Extremely disappointed in this place. First off I didn t know there was a diagnostic fee until I picked up my car. I ve never been charged a diagnostic fee. Let alone $67 to determine the exact issue I told them my car had. Then the bill is astronomical and that s when I knew I was being taken advantage of. I literally went right down the street (I m not gonna mention the other repair shop I went to because I don t want it to look like I m promoting them) and was offered 1/4 of the cost that this place was going to charge me. Look elsewhere. I will say that everyone there was super nice, but don t be fooled. Also, when I got my car back there was a piece missing from my side door that they must of broken off or they forgot to put back on. Not to mention, the car seems like it s in worse condition then when I brought it in. Very disappointed. Thank god I found a better repair shop!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

They wouldn t look at my car because it was to low. They won t even try to get it up or wouldn t even let me heighten it myself and bring it back. I ve never had a shop push me away bc it couldn t get up. They said it would take an hour to get it up when other shops that had to get it up on the same type of lifts got it up in a few minutes.

The person behind the counter was clearly harried having to serve shop customers and U-Haul rental customers. The most engaging person was the young man performing the oil change. I had specified Mobil 1 full Synthetic 5W30 oil, which this shop does not stock. They ordered it after I arrived for my service, which was delayed until the oil was delivered. I was not happy with the $13 plus per quart that I was charged for the oil that retails everywhere for about $6. But, I had a first time customer discount on the labor so I didn't complain. The result; however, is I won't be going back. I feel the 3 star rating may be a bit generous.Service: Oil change

I took my truck in because I had an oil leak. When I first spoke to Glen he told me a few different things that it could be and I made an apt to take my truck in to get it assessed. He called me a few hours later to tell me what it was, nothing major thankfully. So many other shops are quick to tell you its something major to get more money. He broke down the cost/labor and literally only charged me for the amount of time it took for the fix. Most places will charge at least for a full hour. I love how honest this shop is with the work and time used. I will take my truck here for anything I need from now on. 10/10 Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

I had an emissions issue. This was the first time I ve done business with SSC. They did a terrific job! They quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered needed parts. It did take some time but when they finished their work, a passed emissions test was the result!Greg was very informative and knowledgeable and patient with answering all of my questions. Loved this place. The shop was busy but fit my jeep in anyway. Greg gave me his honest opinion even though I didn t like it. He was correct and I appreciate his honesty. Completed my front differential repair and parking brake issue. Had our AC go down and brought it in. We received prompt analysis and repair. I greatly appreciate the peace of mind in knowing this company does all it can to reduce the cost. Other companies we have used seem to always replace the most expensive component and hope it solves the issue, but SSC has a good track record with us over the years to find and fix the actual problem and not just rebuild every component and upcharge us.Thanks again SSC. Super friendly off the bat when coming in. I was having issues with spark plugs and a cylinder misfire. I had been trying many places and they were asking way more for a diagnosis. When I came in here, immediately was welcomed better than anywhere else and also offered to have half the diagnostic go towards fixing this issue. They have no BS and were honest and explained fully what needed to be done rather then brush over it and surprise you with a bill at the end. Highly recommended

Several years ago when I moved to Arizona, this place was the shop of choice. Over the years their pricing has caused me to look elsewhere, but it doesn t change the fact that they were always top-notch people. Recently I called to ask a general question and the man helping me on the phone was an absolute rock star. He was patient, and explained things thoroughly to me.
